[Flash back of Yeon from last night]
It was around 1 am. Yeon was sitting on the floor of his bedroom while gazing at deeply sleeping Dae.
He was breathing out hard while gazing at his sleepy face. It was much tedious for him to rub out his cold sweat from his chest by stripping his shirt. With the utmost difficulty, he changed his sweaty attire into his favorite polka-dotted night suit while keeping his eyes closed to witnessing anything appropriate.
But somehow, Yeon was feeling quite guilty by touching his warm chest without his conscience before. His heart was pounding hard and he lowered his face down.
"What's wrong with me? Why did I touch...him? Ahhhh, damnit! Why am I always involved with this nuisance? It's seriously pissing me off!" He was whining on his own in a deep groan.
"Ughh!"
With the sudden moaning sound, Yeon raised his chin up and glanced at Dae silently. He was fretting his face in the deep sleep as if he was having some kind of nightmares.
Slowly, Yeon stood up from the ground and walked towards him near the bed. Dae was scrunching his eyebrows and his hands were trembling! He somehow seemed a bit scared!
"Hey? What's wrong?" He softly called him as his absurd restlessness was bothering him. Quietly he tried to touch his forehead to calm him down, but a thought stopped his approaching arm in the midway.
"No... I am a grim reaper after all... I shouldn't touch any human recklessly like that... He might get affected if I touch him in his sleep." He murmured with a sad face and glanced at him. Dae was still making grimacing expressions.
He breathed out in a huff and tried to pull back his arms away from him. But all of a sudden, Dae grabbed his arm in the sleep in a flick of a second.
"Wh-What?" Yeon was startled by his action and checked upon him. He was still in deep sleep.
"Don't... Don't leave me... please..."
Dae mumbled in a gibberish tone in his sleep. All of a sudden, a drop of warm tears dripped down from the corner of his eyes while he was holding onto Yeon's arm. Probably, he was scared of being left alone.
Suddenly, Yeon's heart throbbed for a moment and he stared at him intensively for a while. Slowly, he took his seat beside him on the bed and touched his forehead with a gentle caress. Some drops of sweat were clustered on his forehead ad he was trying to wipe them out for comforting him.
"Don't worry... I am just beside you. You aren't alone." He whispered softly to him and caressed his hair to let him sleep with ease.
Somehow, with his affectionate touch, Dae seemed to be quite relieved as he stopped frowning his face in sleep. A small smile appeared on his lips as he quietly held onto Yeon's arm.
"He looks like such a baby in his sleep. I can't even get angry with him... What a mess." Yeon wondered with a small smirk while gazing at him from close.
...
"Mr. Yeon? Hello? Mr. Yeon!"
All of a sudden, Yeon flinched with the sudden loud call and raised his chin up. Dae was glancing at him with a dubious gaze. Pretty soon, he realized that he was lost in thoughts about what happened last night that he completely forgot about the breakfast!
Dae had already finished up his breakfast and was ogling at him with a fixed stare.
"Hey... Are you okay? I called you several times but you weren't responding! Were you in a state of shock?" Dae frowned his eyebrows while inquiring him.
Yeon smirked with his response and tried hard to control his beaming laughter in front of him. "It's nothing, I was just lost in something." He murmured.
"But you didn't even answer my question, why were we cuddling up in your bed?" He sounded quite persistent.
"You don't need to know about that," Yeon instantly answered him with a sly smirk and concentrated on his food.
"Aisshhh, you are so stingy," Dae whined in a deep voice and took a glance around his apartment. "Well, your apartment is quite smaller than mine, but it's nicely decorated. Is it rental or your own?" He tried to initiate a normal conversation between them.
"We can't stay at a place for a long time. I have been staying here for around 5 years and soon, I have to move out." He replied.
Dae furrowed his brows and tilted his head a bit while listening to him. "But why do you have to move out? And, so it's your rental apartment?"
"It's one of our rules of existence. We, grim reapers are bound to live a vagabond life to keep our identity as an eternal secret. And, I don't pay the rent here. We just hypnotize the house owners and they hand over their apartments to us." Yeon seemed very calm and amicable while responding to his queries.
Immediately Dae flinched with his reply and rolled his eyes in wonder. "Huh? But... that's treachery! You can't con house owners like that! Oh gosh, that's a crime!" He blurted out breathlessly.
Yeon was amused to see a panicked reaction on his face and smirked with a sly gesture. "It's nothing wrong about that...And that's one of the reasons why we don't stay at a place for too long. It's better to live in a different neighborhood with different habitats." He spoke softly while wiping up his mouth with a tissue after completing his breakfast.
Dae was hearing his words carefully and scratched his head in confusion. Suddenly, his mind stuck with a small thought but he seemed a bit hesitant to ask him about that.
"Umm, well, so... have you decided the place to stay after you move out?" He asked with a cryptic tone.
Yeon shook his head in declination and gazed at him with his eyes fixed. "I haven't but--"
[DING DONG]
All of a sudden, the doorbell ringing sound flinched both of them. Dae was startled by the loud noise and immediately looked at the door.
But before Yeon could get up from the couch, Dae sprang up and blabbered out his proclamation, "I will go and open the door for you. I am sitting all idle from the morning."
Before Yeon could stop him, he promptly stepped towards the door and opened it with a curious face. As it opened, the uninvited guest was no one other than Suho!
He was standing at the door looking all surprised and shock to witness Dae opening the door instead of Yeon. He rubbed his eyes as if he thought of all this as a dream or perhaps he had come to the wrong address!
"Ohh, Suho? Good morning!" Dae greeted him with a warm smile.
He stood still for a moment and murmured in a heavy voice, " umm, Dae? What are you doing here at Yeon's house? And... you are wearing his night suit? Huh?"
