After a short break, the Fire nation came and first was Axel. He hugged Sophie quickly, smiled and walked out into the arena. He was provoked by the virtual soldiers and they headed against him.
A sword of fire ended up in his hands, and he started fighting. Just as Sophie knew, he had perfect fighting skills. From the fire fencing, he was shifting to a battle with his bare hands from which fire came out.
He was great and in no time he defeated everyone and smiled at Sophie and came back to her.
As soon as he saw her, he hugged her tightly, still excited.
"Well? What do you think, Soph? Did I do well? " he asked her smugly.
"You were great! Your fighting skills were even greater than the last time when I saw them, and you're an amazing swordsman! You did brilliantly!" she was proud of her loved one and of his power and smiled charmingly at him.
And they laughed a little bit in their arms until it was time for Lucas to come out. Iza wished him success and gripped thumbs behind her back.
She noticed that a proud girl in a fire suit was looking at him smiling as if she was fascinated by him and Iza felt some irritation, but she didn't reflect it much and stared at Lucas.
He used mixed skills of lightning and fire and in no time struck all his opponents. Like his brother, he had incredible fighting skills even better than Axel's and fought very well, and Iza remained fascinated and stared at him with a soft, gentle, pleasing look.
He winked at her direction and she smiled and felt bloody eyes from the annoying girl and Isabelle looked victorious and proud.
"Well done, you did very well!" she congratulated him as soon as he came to her, and he laughed satisfied.
Next up was Ryan Bearfire, a boy with dark brown hair and vicious glistening eyes. He had his eye on Isabelle, but she didn't even reflect it, and he only earned himself angry looks from Lucas, which further dragged him into the weird and determined desire to show her how strong he was.
He raised his hands in the air and a strong, blinding light shone and blinded his opponents. He used the moment and attacked. He was controlling the electricity and could increase it to dazzle his enemies and only he could see in the bright territory. His fighting skills were almost as good as Lucas's.
Iza was a little amazed, but not to the point of liking it. Yes, she liked struggling boys, but something about his movements was haughty. Even though his actions were for her, she wasn't fascinated even when he bowed straight to her. Lucas became even angrier and through his gaze he could set the impudent on fire. He had so much rage towards the newcomer that he was already loathed and nervously stared at Isa, but she didn't appreciate Ryan's actions and that calmed him a bit down.
Next was his sister and twin, which, miraculously, was exactly the same girl that smiled at Lucas – Camille Bearfire. She had long hair in the colour of her brother's hair, with a hairstyle sideways on her eye and the same strange expression with light-pink eyes. She smirked at Lucas, which enraged Iza again.
Camille appeared to have similar skills like her brother, but unlike him, she removed all the lighting and there was total darkness. Her powers resembled Ryan's, but they were the complete opposite— hers were removing the light and in the thick darkness only she could see.
Only her eyes flashed and showed how fast she was moving, and once the lights came back, all the soldiers were on the ground.
She raised her head victoriously and winked at Lucas, who almost didn't reflect it, still conceived of her brother and Isabelle's reaction. She herself was still angry looking in disgust and stared at her childhood friend worried. "What is this strange feeling? What's happening to me? But I despise him!" she wondered, still staring at him and he looked at her. Internally he was asking himself the same questions.
They looked at each other with flaming glances, but they come to their senses and turned in different directions. Only Sophie and Axel noticed them and laughed. They'd have a lot of talk with them later!
Camille left the arena unsatisfied, but she was going to keep trying until she won him, which was unlikely with Isabelle's presence and the acquired new feelings. Ryan and his sister were going to fight a lot!
The last participant from The Fire Nation was a girl with long dark hair with red tresses in tone with her eyes - Rebecca Mistdenser. She had a strange radiance, with a figure and a gait of a prestigious dancer.
As soon as the time came for her to appear, her eyes shone, and her hands were sparkling. Light flashes were seen. She put them in front of her and after a certain amount of experiments, she created something like a hole. It was just in time because a virtual soldier was already inches away from her. Rebecca went into the hole and ended up behind her opponent's back.
She could create portals and move to another place she wanted through her hoops. It was an amazing skill that helped her surprise foes and escape them and beat them with small effort and beautiful dance skills.
And so, the performance of the last Fire Participant ended. Now was the time of Sophie's greatest difficulty – it was her turn.
Small lakes filled with water were shown in the arena. Only the most skilful waterbender could create water. They called Sophie's name and she hugged Axel in a disturbing embrace. He wished her success and smiled, and she answered his smile. It made her feel more secure and walked to the arena.
It looked very different from the outside, created with an artificial atmosphere. Sophie took a deep breath and prepared. She raised her hands and two jets of water were pointed at her. The girl shaped them like whips. She was confronted by the soldiers. They looked incredibly realistic at close range.
She pointed the water in her hands against them and threw herself with all her might. As soon as the water disappeared from her hands, she directed a new stream of water and shaped it into a bow, and the arrows showed themselves. Her eyes lit up in the colour of the moon, and it was as if some power had conquered her. Her movements were punctuated and unerring.
She was always focused entirely on her target and shot it every time unmistakably. In no time everyone was knocked down and there was a slight squeaky sound that got her out of the trance, and she brought the water back to her place. Her eyes returned normal and she looked around.
Everyone looked a little amazed at her skills, and they were right. Sofia was perfectly fluent in the ancient movements of water bending and her mastery of the bow of water was great and infallible.
Sophie looked at Axel. He looked at her astonished and there were sparks in his eyes. He smiled warmly, which delighted Sophie. Her eyes shone again and the water along her rose and spun past her as she smiled.
She amazed the others even more, but also herself. She hadn't even raised her hands! She got scared and the water went back to the lakes and Sophie left worried.
"What was that? " Axel asked her as soon as she found herself in his arms. "You only commanded the water as you stood in one place smiling! And before that, your skills were impeccable! All your moves were smooth, and your shooting always hit the target. You were amazing Soph! "He said, and he was excited and hugged her tighter, proud of her skills.
"He's right, your powers were great, better than ever! We all stayed open-mouthed, especially when you finished performing. Amazing!" Isabelle greeted her excitedly and Sophie was still in Axel's arms. She feared her own strength and couldn't talk.
After the great wonder of the royal daughter's introduction, the next contestant came. He had sandy-blonde hair and blue eyes like the sea – Eric Seacrest.
He raised his hands and lifted great ocean waves. The boy gathered his hands and from the assembled water showed a huge, robot-like creature of ice and water. By moving his hands, he controlled its movements and its size.
After a moment, the robot became the size of its opponents, and with a sword of ice, it began to fight, controlled by Eric's commands. This was his skill: from the water, he could create living machines with which he struggled.
In no time, he beat the virtual soldiers and left with a confident step.
Next up was a boy with dark hair and bright eyes - Nick Rainshed. His eyes shone and he raised his fingers. From the sky swallowed a flushing rain but he was still dry.
For the soldiers, it was a problem because it blurred their vision. Nick raised his hands more in the air and a few drops of rain turned to the ice like blades. He pointed them at his opponents, and they were struck.
Through quick movements, he smacked everyone. His eyes stopped shining and the rain ended and evaporated as if it had never rained.
It was amazing, he could control the rain!
Next up was Sophie's cousin, Sabrina Rainblow. She had long grey-blue hair like the grim sky and eyes like stars. She was a strange person, and her powers matched with her appearance.
Sabrina raised the water and shaped it like gloves to protect her hands, and water turned into a slide under her feet. She slid on the ice with the dance skills of a prestigious ice dancer and from her hands came ice and she was unmistakably striking all her rivals.
As soon she was ready, she bowed with exquisite behaviour.
The last participant came out, a Japanese girl with brittle dark-brown hair and magical eyes, with a gentle expression and ice roses in her hair - Minako Moonfly.
She stood and gently hummed a pleasant melody, and everything along with her began to freeze. Roses of ice appeared from the ground, and when the soldiers pointed at her it was difficult for them to move. Her melody became louder and higher. The roses were tangled around the soldiers and they were getting cold.
Moments later they were frozen in place. That was the beautiful Japanese woman's skill. Through her icy flowers, she could freeze everything with minimal movements.
That's how all the participants ended up and it was time to rest.
