Chapter 4 - Chapter 3

Sophie took a step to get home quicker. She was confused about what was going on. The fire ship and the boy were still spinning in her head. She couldn't explain the power and energy that had possessed her when she looked at him. It was inexplicably even stronger than in the dream.

The ship approached the shore and dropped anchor. It was big and majestic. Several soldiers in uniforms of Fire in red and black went outside and opened the door of the main cabin. Sophie could see the boy more clearly than she did earlier.

He was tall with sun-like hair and eye-catching amber eyes. There were lovely outlines of the face and a majestic, strong body. Something in his eyes seemed familiar to Sophie, and she stayed in place as numb.

"Prince, how do you feel after the trip? You're all right, aren't you? "He was asked by the bearded old man next to him, probably his assistant.

"Yes, I'm fine, Henry. Don't worry," the boy replied in a soft voice. Only when the girl heard his voice, Sophie trembled.

"Well, let's go to the palace. I hope the Queen and her daughter will accept us. It's been so long. Too bad about the sad circumstances. – after hearing these words, Sophie gasped. "No way..." it can't be him..."

"Come on, my dear son. Let's go. They invited us, after all, "he was prompted by a beautiful lady with delicate soft brown hair and sweet amber eyes. "Come on, Axel. I will call your father."

Axel, her childhood friend and her first love, went straight to Sophie, and she was shocked. She could barely talk.

"Axel? No.... there's no way to be you, "barely whispered, almost through tears.

She heard a strange sound pointing at her. She turned around and saw a wild vampire with his eyes bleeding.

They were creatures of darkness. They were lured by the devil to the Darkness centuries ago. They were immortal, but also very dangerous, forced to drink blood. It's rare for their kind to be good.

The girl had never seen such a monster in person. Sophie looked for water, even though it wasn't going to help. Water didn't work in a battle with a vampire unless it was holy.

She got scared, and he was getting closer and closer. She was ready for the strike, but one didn't follow.

In front of her was Axel and defended her with all his might. Moments later, a fire broke out of his hands and burned the wild beast and drove him out. The most effective element against vampires – fire.

Then he turned to Sophie. He stepped in front of her and stared at her with an incredible spark in her deep, almost black eyes.

"So.... Sophie?!?! You're all right, aren't you? Is that really you? "Axel said happily, and without restraint, he hugged her deeply, with his full love of her from nine years ago.

"That's you, aren't you? It's not just another dream, is it? You're here!?!"

"Yes, Axel, it's me! I can't believe I'm finally seeing you again. It's been so long. Thought.... I thought I'd never see you again. Or that you won't remember me," Sophie replied through tears in his arms.

"How could I forget you? I'd rather forget who I am! Look how much you've grown and how beautiful you've become. You've been hiding incredible beauty in you since you were a little girl, but now you've become even more beautiful than before! "Axel looked at her with a loving look, overwhelmed by her beauty.

"Thank you," Sophie replied embarrassed and blushed. "But I'm not the only one who's grown up. Look at you! You're 6 feet tall and you look like the strongest fighter. What was that fighting skills? You're a handsome guy! "She laughed and looked at him with the same love as he looked at her.

"Haha, to survive in this unpredictable world, you have to be able to fight, of course. What would have happened to you with that bloodsucker? You've got to pull yourself together, Soph! "Axel said and there was a sense of fear in his voice.

"I'm fine. Don't worry. I'm a little behind in my fighting skills, I admit. It's just that with this magic, they don't leave me alone. And the water doesn't help a lot in fighting with vampires.

But anyway, why are you here? What's going on? I'm glad to see you, but I know my mother's opinion of you..." said Sophie a little worriedly. She still couldn't understand what they were doing here.

"Well, you probably know. Here comes the International Tournament, and I, the Prince of the Fire Nation, Axel Phoenix, of course, will participate. "he said proudly and winked.

"Well, yes. I'm forced to participate, too. It's amazing that my mother let you in."

"Let's go to the palace and show me around! My mother and father will come on their own," Axel laughed, holding her by the arm, leading her straight to the palace.

It's been a long time since the two of them had experienced such joy.
