The next morning, I woke up to see I was laying on a different bed than mine. I get up and see my hair is undone in gentle waves against my arm. Where in the world am I? Then I suddenly realize I am in Orochi's room.
A sharp pain pierces my head and I groan in pain. "Ah, your awake," I look over to see Orochi walking over to me. "Drink this. Tomoko said it would make you feel better."
I grab the cup and gulp it down greedfully. "Ahk! What is that even made of?"
It tasted like death itself was embodied in the liquid. He darkly chuckled at my reaction to it. "Well, you were the one causing trouble. If fact, after I left when dinner was done; you took a whole bottle of sake and partied until you waltz into my arms passing out.
I blush, "W-what do you mean?"
He patted my head, "You wondered the halls when you were drunk. I luckily rammed into you and right as you saw me, you passed out cold. So I carried you here to my chambers to rest."
Orochi takes the cup, placing it on the table beside me. I lay back down hoping that the room would stop spinning from getting up too fast.
"Thank you, for taking care of me. I don't understand what came over me last night." Hoping he would understand my sincerity towards his helpful actions.
His hand suddenly came up and brushed a part of my hair to the side of jaw. I could feel the tips of his gentle touch lingering down the strand. I look at his face but he seemed to not notice I was looking at him. His eye lashes casted small shadows into his cheeks, making his golden eyes look darker.
He muttered something under his breathe I couldn't quite catch. My eyes went down to his lips to see if I could read them but they were only closed. He still seemed to be staring at something but his face didn't gift it away.
I cleared my throat to get his attention back but his flawless features seemed to be like another internal dilemma. His eyes closed with a deep breathe.
"Orochi? What's wrong?" My voice is barely heard over the silence in the room. Did something happen?
"It's nothing. You should get some rest." He gets up leaving me in bed without saying another word.
What was that all about?
~~~~~
I slept in through a good portion of the early morning away and woke right back up before noon. My eyes fluttered open to bright light shinning in from the little window Orochi had in his chamber.
I rolled over onto the other side of bed, laying my head down tiredly. I breathe in and I'm met with a strange sweet smelling aroma. The scent of Jasmine and the outdoors filled my nose.
Is this what Orochi smells like? I push the thought away from my mind, it's creepy to know how someone smells.
Well, he is your future husband a voice chimes in the back of my head. I sit up and slap my cheeks multiple times. "Ah! No, what am I doing!"
I get up and try to look around for some different clothes but I see nothing of the sort. A grown appears on my face and I look around the room again. My eyes land on wardrobe with in the room.
"Ha! Let's see what we have here." I over to it and open the doors. It's filled with dark colored cloths and folded garments. I smirk at the clothes before me. Oh, we're going to have fun with this.
After few minutes, I finally find a dark purple kimono with black flowers sewn into it. I disrobe from previous attire and slip on the clothes of Orochi's. I see that in the mirror it makes my hair and skin stand out. Not my usual pick but, it wasn't the worst decision I have made.
It hugged my figure perfectly and gave me a sex appeal that I normally didn't have. The sleeves were a tad too long but that wasn't a complaint I would have. I tied my hair back into a bun, pushing a pin I had previously in my hair. I put my hands up to my face and smelt Jasmine again.
Crimson color appeared on my cheeks, so I hurried to the garden to refresh myself from the evening before. The pond seemed to be just as beautiful as ever, shinning like a star.
I hurried over to see the fish were swimming happily like normal. Orange, white and black swirled in the water as the fish were swimming.
They seemed oblivious to the world around them and only acknowledged the waters they lived in. It seemed like my visions of the human world. Ignorant of the possibility of something unimaginable like the demon world.
I grinned and continued my way around the garden until I started walking towards the dinning hall. My tiny hummingbird of a heart quickened in my chest as I walked in.
"Hello, everyone!" I waved my hand and smiled. Suddenly, I heard a cup clatter onto the floor. I open my eyes to see Tomoko's shocked face. Then, Orochi had an eyebrow raised in question of my actions with a slight pink to his grey cheeks.
"Miss, is that the Master's clothes?" As Tomoko cleans up the mess with a cloth, I walk over to the table and sit down with a smirk.
"It is." I sip my tea carefully and watch Orochi from the corner of my eye.
"I thought it looked so well with my skin and complimented my features I had to wear it." I looked down at my food starting to eat.
Tomoko still looked surprised as she passed by me. Was it too much? I looked to Orochi who was staring at me intensely.
"You do know that is mine right?" He spoke in a deep whisper.
"Yes, I know." I put a piece of food in my mouth slowly. Admiring the sweet, fresh taste against my tongue.
Orochi's face looked away from and continued eating his food. I smirked knowing I had caught him off guard. We both finished our meals in silence. I finished cleaning myself up and began to leave the room, leaving Orochi to himself. I shook my head in disbelief of their reactions when I finally entered my room.
Giggles erupted from me while I walking over to my bed. "I can't believe I made Orochi embarrass-"
"Can't believe me what?" A voice interrupts my small victory to see it's Orochi standing there.
"Ah, um, nothing." I laugh nervously but he begins to walk over to me and stands in front of me. I bite my lip trying to avoid his gaze in anxiety of doing something I shouldn't have. But his fingers gently push my chin to look at him.
"So you shamelessly lay in my bed, put on my clothes, embarrass me in front of staff and taunt me behind closed doors? Have you become so accostumed with me already?"
I blush under his gaze and try to look away but he pulls me back. His eyes seem to be deeper shade of yellow right now, "I just didn't have anything to wear. So I looked around and found this in your clothes. I didn't mean to-"
But my words were suddenly blocked off.
Orochi pov:
I was eating my food when she walked in.
"Hello, everyone!" Ren cheerfully announced.
I heard Tomoko gasp and I looked up to see Ren in one of my kimonos. The dark material hugged her body perfectly, creating a very mature feminine look to her. It completed her skin and hair. When she sat down, I couldn't help but state.
Her eyes gleamed with a secret mischief about them. Her face seemed to be so beautiful against the midnight colors. I looked down to her lips that had a dusty pink color to them. So innocently, she bit her lips which made me go crazy even more.
The thought of me kissing her invades my mind the whole time we ate. When Ren finished she left behind a presence in mind. I finished eating and decided to walk to her room. She was standing by her bed saying something I couldn't quite hear.
"Can't believe me what?" I say interrupting her. She spins around in shock that I'm here.
She starts to panic, "Um, nothing."
I smirk, yeah sure its nothing; such an excuse. I walk over to where she stands, "So you shamelessly lay in my bed, put on my clothes, embarrass me in front of staff and taunt me behind closed doors? Have you become so accustomed with me already?"
I watch her face turn pink with embarrassment before me. Her eyes try to disconnect from mine but I pull her face back with a gentle push. Her lips start to move as she speaks but all I could think about was the innocent pink color and the urge to seal them with mine.
I lean down and cut off her rambling with a kiss to her soft lips.
