Matthew froze at the immense presence the guy had. He was in the floor looking down. He didn't think twice about not facing the guy. But As hours and hours passed, Matthew grew more impatient expecting any second for the mysterious entity to attack.
Matthew thought to himself that he will wait another hour before he does what he wants to do. He will face the mysterious person who's actually hibernating inside a golden statue waiting to be released. But Matthew didn't know that. He waited and waited and an hour passed.
He stood up and gave it all his courage. He looked the entity right in the face and jumped. He got scared to have seen a faceless statue.
"Shit!" Matthew exclaimed with all the frustration.
He waited and waited and expected someone to have been looking down on him trying to get the perfect moment for it to attack, but it turned out that the entity he was getting terrified at was just a statue.
Matthew scanned all over the statue and felt as if something was wrong with it. He knew something was off. He caressed the statue 'til its head. The statue started vibrating enough to blind and scare Matthew off.
Matthew stepped back and covered his vision. The rays of light slid into his hands showing the golden vibrancy of color. Beautiful and graceful yet terrifying. The light got dimmer and dimmer until the figure was seen.
A man stood there closing his eyes and as if feeling everything around. Matthew shivered and fell on his knees. The entity's presence gave him uneasiness.
"Ahh! Yes. I'm finally out."
Matthew's left knee was in the ground, and the other was trying to stay still. He didn't look straight up instead. The entity was confused and surprised.
"I'm surprised. People would beg for their lives. You were able to just shiver. You must be the next bearer." The man said.
Matthew was confused and knew he was safe. The aura it beared initially was already calming down and had already stopped not accelerated. Matthew stood trying to scan any animosity and was prepared to defend himself or even run. He was cautious with everything around him although it was all blank. It was just him and the guy.
"Are you scared?"
"What kind of a question is that?! I'm terrified." Matthew cut himself off.
The guy laughed at Matthew and he frowned.
"I'm sorry!" he apologizes in a laughing way. He wiped all his tears from laughing and stood straight. "I've called the right person this time. I have been calling people such as yourself. None of them were able to break me from the eternal imprisonment the Higher beings bestowed on me. Until this day. You were able to break me free."
"What's that suppose to mean?" He said with all the confusement.
"It means, I have to do my task. Bestowing you a blessing and sacrifice my life for it."
The entity said and continued forward. He reached just a meter away from Matthew.
"I'm Nue's brother, Misha. I'm the artificial sibling of the sanctity. I was given a task to find you." he explained.
Matthew was still speechless and confused.
"I- I was called, yes. But why are you carrying this immense power? I've never seen or heard such magic nor power."
"You never heard of the Abyss?" Misha asks in disbelief.
"Abyss?"
"You'll one day know." he says. "But for now. Go to the greatest dwarfs man and tell him to forge you the greatest sword. Go to the elves and find someone called "Albenies", tell her to give you the greatest blessing they can give. Go to the land of goblins and kill their king. Find the greatest dire wolves and battle with him. Ask the ancient Creation Book of the Druid Conqueror. Conquer all the Phoenyx siblings and awaken their true potentials."
"Phoenyx?" Matthew asked but in his surprise. He forgot he had three of them inside himself. Phoinyx and Phreanyx. He summoned the three as they appeared behind him.
The three siblings did not even shiver, but were only curious with who was in front of their master.
"Phoinyx and Phreanyx. Since when did I last see you guys." Misha chuckled.
"You know them?"
"I did, I was a friend of their mother and father." Misha explains. "But after Felix came into their life, they started living for him. They were given the blessings of Felix and the unawakened power from one sanctity. She was known as Palace."
Matthew stood there, speechless. The siblings also were filled with confusion. As if it was yesterday that they remembered only seeing Felix. They never knew who their parents were and was told that they were created by the Leader of Sanctity.
"I'm lost." Matthew told the guy with all his straightforwardness.
"I know. But do everything I told you." He came close and placed his hand on Matthew's chest. "Until we meet again. King." He said, and everything of him dispersed into a golden aurora. Matthew's body was sucking everything in as if it was air.
Matthew was flustered at what was happening and started jumping and scraping the aurora off his body. He figured that it was useless trying to shake it off knowing he couldn't touch it. He watches the glowing aurora as it enters his body. Every inch of the aura was absorbed into his body and yet nothing was new was felt.
"You have to awaken it. And someday, you will." Phoinyx blurted out reading my mind.
"Oh damn it!" He jumps. "I forgot you guys were here!"
As the aurora started fading away inside Matthew, the whole place started falling apart and everything was going back to normal.
Just a minute after. Matthew was back inside the forest, and the flickering golden light disappeared. He looked behind him only to see Felix and Klaerif struggling at nothing and the Phoenyx siblings kneeling in front of him.
"Okay... stop kneeling. You can stand." Matthew told the Phoenyx'es.
"And stop staying inside me! That's creepy!" He continued.
The Phoenyx'es held off their giggles and laughs. The siblings went to their Phoenixes form and flown off waving goodbyes to everyone.
The force that Felix and Klaerif were receiving stopped and both fell on the grounds panting. Matthew went closer to them and spoke.
"Well isn't this a sight. Two godly beings, panting." Matthew teases.
"What happened." Felix asked, frustrated.
"Nothing happened. A statue was there and I came back here."
"He hadn't come out?" Klaerif asked.
"Who did?"
Klaerif and Felix stood up and scanned all throughout Matthew's body. They were also touching him, making Matthew more anxious. He brushed both of them off.
"Stop it! You both are creeping me out. It's weird."
Both guardians looked at each other, they were communicating using their eyes. They both sighed and shook the thought of everything.
"Did you hold the statue?" Felix asked.
"I did. It was golden, and it had an immense powerful magic."
They gave out a sigh of relief and gave not more time about the issue. They bid their goodbyes and started heading off the same path.
"Let's go back to where we were, okay?" Matthew said walking towards Alex and Emilia.
He took both of their hands and brought them up. Luciel stood up himself and started running off to see April.
