About as big as 6' 1" Dwarf stood up front of the gate stopping the four men. "State your business in this Cavern." He asked.
"I'm Matthew Johnson Acker. I'm looking for the Dwarfs King." he bluntly said.
The Black Guard's face twitched with annoyance. He held up his sword up high and prepared to launch it right on Matthew. Matthew flared and lazily took out his sword to counter that big axe right in front of him with just a little effort. The axe went back as if the countering of Matthew's sword was stronger than the Black Guard's swing.
"Impossible!" He exclaimed with all the surprise. He wasn't able to anticipate everything when Alexander stood front him with a dagger on his neck.
"You dare defy Master." Alexander whispered to the Dwarf. "Someone as short as your kind shouldn't be doing things so bluntly." with all the animosity he continued.
The Guard trembled at noticing the three guys' presences. "Let's rewind and repeat this conversation again, shall we?" Emilia tilted her head with a killing intent. Her beautiful aura seemed deadlier than usual.
"The king isn't in this Cavern Station! He is in Cavern Station 7! I can take you there!" he said with his voice cracking.
Alexander let go of the guard and started walking inside the Cavern again, after letting go of the Guard. He immediately lost his balance and fell on the ground. Right after miles of them walking, they spotted a torch path way inside a big space inside. The scenery was one of a kind. A palace was spotted in the middle of the Cavern beneath it was filled with Cavern Houses that are created by stones. The four were mesmerized at the sight that they took a deep breath to see the full view of the cavern.
"Amazing." Emilia said with her eyes full of excitement.
"I can't wait to see everything inside this place! I mean I wonder if they've got assassin weapons! Do they have professional assassins-?!"
"Chill." he calms the two down. "15 Days and we are out of here." Matthew reminded.
The two nodded like kids and started roaming around the area.
"Sir." Emilia gave her sweetest smile. "Since you already have Oplius over there, can we have a break?" she continued.
Matthew rolled his eyes while shaking them off with his hands, allowing both of them to go. They both applauded at the success. In the meantime, Milikilin saw an opportunity to escape. He scanned the area and planned the safest route to lose Matthew.
Just right after the two left, the Oplius slowly behind Matthew while he was busy. A second past and he ran beneath the buildings. The path way was confusing and if you weren't a native around, you could get lost. Luckily, Milikilin was an Oplius who are good with routes. They can envision the paths and take the possible most and safest way. He was already far away when a shadow was seen beside the corner of his right eye.
He trembled in fear and ran faster. The Oplius just kept bumping into random Dwarfs. Some were angry, some just complained, while others started chasing him. He took different routes safest for him. The shadow kept appearing randomly on the corner of his eye which made him more scared and nervous.
He was on the point where he stopped seeing the possible paths safest for him and focused running faster when he hit someone directly stopping him from running and making him fall. He scratched his head and stood up ready to apologize to the person.
"I'm sorry-" He stopped halfway when he realized who he had hit.
It was Matthew standing in front of him, crossing his arms, menacing. Milikilin dropped to his knees, down knowing he would be slashed... The mischievous Oplius positioned his head facing downwards, as "it" concluded for death behind him. Although a minute had passed as his anxiety grew larger each second. The Oblivion opened his eyes staring at the chuckling man above him.
"You aren't going to kill me?" He asked.
"If I killed you, who would guide me?" Matthew laughed.
The Oblivion stood up. "Now," Matthew shook off his laugh and menace once again. "If you do anything funny, I might just take a random dwarf to replace you." He intimidated.
Milikilin gulps as he gets pulled roughly by Matthew. He did not budge and just led the way to the palace of King Dwarf. The travel was filled with silence. Each Dwarf that they passed by gave the weirded out face.
An hour passed since they started walking when they've reached the entrance of a big palace made out of different minerals such as gold, silver, silicon and other things.
"The inside is protected with magical resistance thus disabling me to locate the correct pathways from inside." Milikilin said.
"Then this is where we part ways." Matthew said giving him a medieval cloth pouch filled with silver coins as payments.
He caught the small bag and bowed down, taking his leave, hurrying.
Matthew stared at the entrance filled with guards. Each of them had carried a large hammer and some held axes larger than usual. Their average heights were 5' 2" making them very short but taller than usual.
Matthew gave out a deep sigh and started heading out.
'To find the king and ask him to forge me the greatest sword he could make huh? That'll take longer than we I should expect it to be...'
He thought to himself. Matthew took a deep breath and started concentrating on his energy control. He flew upwards and continued to where the entrance was. The guards took notice of him and went totally berserk.
The Black Guard eyes were filled with awareness and animosity. "Take that man down!" someone taller than the rest of the dwarfs yelled out.
An archer appeared, preparing to shoot. The bow was long and quite thin that was made out of metal that could bend. Three archers aimed at Matthew and sent their arrows towards him. The arrows flew faster than regular and stronger. It was going straight as if no air was messing with it. An ordinary Oblivion or Hetizens would have gotten shot but this was a puny threat to Matthew himself. He brushed them off with just his bare hands, although he used energy control to strengthen his fingers.
The archers continued shooting but failed to damage Matthew. He slowly flown directly inside the palace when the guards started slashing at him. He gave out a small blast pushing away around him and some even falling off the stairs and just like that, he was inside. The place did not look comfy and accepting at all. Each and everyone glared at Matthew with blaze in their eyes. They launch themselves right into Matthew, forcing him to fight back.
