A strong and powerful fist came crashing towards his face with an extreme force as the person attacking him is using his esper power.
Curt wanted to dodge, but his shoulder is being held by that person. The attack was without warning and would surely put his life in danger once he is hit by that power.
So he did not think twice and quickly shifted his weight to one side and suddenly his movement drags his attacker towards him.
But before that person could understand what suddenly happened, Curt's feet have already planted themselves on the young man's face.
Bam!
The young man flew to the wall hitting a locker with a loud sound.
Everyone's gaze is already towards the people who suddenly fought upon entering the room.
When those inside this room saw Curt and his soldier uniform, they knew that he is here to help them. But upon seeing one of the students attacking a soldier, everyone immediately feels displeased with that person�����s attitude.
However, upon seeing who that person is and the people behind him, they all just kept their silence. But right now they are all looking at the soldier who easily defeated the young man which was deemed as one of the strongest espers on campus.
"You… how dare you fight back?!" Bart Jung shouted as he slowly stood up from the ground.
He was not hurt that much by that kick but was astounded at the technique used by the soldier. He now views this soldier as someone who is skilled yet not as powerful as he can see that the soldier is not an esper.
"Get him!" Bart Jung shouted while signaling at his companion, Leo Melus to attack.
He was truly enraged right now with that soldier.
When Curt peeked inside the classroom, he saw two men and some young women behind them. However, he did not help them because of the danger. And those people are exactly Bart Jung and his group.
As soon as the soldier left, the people immediately open the door and wanted to get out of school. But soon they discovered that there are many armed soldiers suddenly coming their way. The group cursed that soldier which left them in that room.
When they turn around, they spotted that soldier entering the building and also saw a familiar figure. It was Jenny Mae Lee. The group has a grudge against Jenny Mae and her friends and wanted to teach them in the upcoming School Sports Meet.
But who would have known that the tragedy would suddenly happen? Still, the group was angered when the soldier helped the woman instead of them.
And so the group followed the soldier from afar and also entered the building. Once inside, Bart Jung immediately searched for the soldier and found him in the infirmary.
He grabs this opportunity to teach the soldier a lesson. However, who would have known that the soldier is more skilled than he thought.
On his cue, Leo Melus and another esper woman suddenly approached Curt. But before they could start fighting, a woman in white suddenly shouted.
"All of you get out!"
Her shout stopped the group and turned their attention towards her. As the attention of the group is towards the woman, Leo Malus suddenly made his move and wanted to hit Curt with a sharp spike made of ice.
His action thoroughly confused the group as they just wanted to teach the soldier a lesson and not to kill anyone. But before his hand would reach Curt's back it suddenly stopped and Leo Malus suddenly fell to the ground and held his head while his expression turned pale.
Then his expression changed into something feeling pained and is suffering.
Everyone turned their attention towards him who is already coiled on the ground like a shrimp while groaning in pain.
"What is happening?" the woman in white which looks like the school nurse or doctor asked in panic as she moves to the side of Leo Melus.
Curt suddenly bent down but a woman suddenly stood blocking him.
"Don't touch him! It was you… you did this to Leo. If… If something happens to him, you… you will be punished. I will make sure that you will die for this." She suddenly shouted with anger and tears in her eyes.
Curt was a bit taken aback as he did know what is happening and what causes these people to be very aggressive towards him.
"What are you people talking about? You are the ones who suddenly attacked me…" Curt blurted with a bit of confusion in his expression.
Although he knew that he could take this on and try to subdue these people with force, which is what his mind is currently thinking, yet his true meek self, did not want to cause too much trouble.
Hearing him, some of the people in the room nodded their heads. When the woman in white saw this, she turned her gaze to the group of trouble makers and the one on the ground.
"All of you get out!" shouted the woman with an icy tone.
The group with Bart Jung is a bit afraid of this woman and they dare not offend her, so they reluctantly left the room while the young woman who stood in front of Curt a while ago, showed reluctance in her eyes while looking at Leo Malus still writhing in pain on the ground.
"Let me help…" Curt suddenly said as he squatted down.
The woman in a white lab gown was a bit skeptical but did not hinder the young soldier's action.
Seeing that the woman would not stop him, Curt did not hesitate to suddenly hit some acupoints in the young man's body using his finger.
After hitting around twenty acupoints, the young man suddenly calmed down but has already lost consciousness.
"This will temporarily relieve him of the pain for around 5 hours. We need to find the cause of this…" Curt said as he suddenly turned his attention towards the person he originally wanted to help.
This time he could already see the half-conscious male esper still trying to heal the young woman on the bed. He did not hesitate and quickly approach the bed.
"Rest and recover your energy, you are still needed by some of the people in this room," Curt said as he patted the young man's shoulder.
He then began checking the pulse of the young woman. From this close distance, he could see the reason why the young man almost lost all of this LEP energy. This is because, for some unknown reason, the wound on the young woman's arm is not closing.
Curt suddenly had an idea, as he could see that this type of wound is caused by a type of poison used by water espers. If the one hit by this type of power is weaker than the caster, then it would not have that much of an effect.
But if the caster is stronger then, the wound will not heal even after the caster dies.
It's a virus type attack and is very dangerous.
Curt, however, wanted to try something out. It just dawned on him but he is not sure if it will work.
Using the blood on the side of the bed, Curt suddenly draws some glyphs on the bed surrounding the severed arm of the young woman.
When the young man suddenly stopped casting his healing spell, the blood from the young woman's severed arm suddenly burst forth like a fountain.
Yet what happened next, stomps the onlookers. This is because the blood began to circulate as if following a path.
Curt did not bother with the reaction of the people in the room. He directly walks towards the severed arm of the woman and then checked its condition. After confirming that it is still able to be saved, he immediately yet carefully tries to bring it near the stump filled with serrated flesh.
He then takes out a small crystal and put it in the circle of the array that he just made. With the energy from the crystal, a light source suddenly began coming out of the array. Then Curt began performing the replantation of the severed arm.
The woman in the white gown is in awe as she just watches with the rest of the people in the room. Everyone was dumbfounded upon discovering this miraculous event. Even the young man on the side has relaxed his expression seeing the miraculous event in front of his eyes.
Around 30 minutes have passed since Curt started the operation in which he did not use his hands to do the operation on the patient but instead the LEP energy tentacles. People just saw around twenty small white tentacle-like things carefully attaching the arm of the woman.
While doing the surgery, Curt suddenly feels a soft cloth wiping the sweat on his forehead. Since the woman wearing a white gown was really close to him right now, he could smell a really nice perfume which almost made Curt a bit dazed.
But he still recovered his composure and did not dare to look at the woman's eyes. Curt feels a bit guilty at that time for being dazed by another woman.
Then he focused on the operation and successfully finished it. The onlookers were all awed at the success of the operation and look at the successfully attached arm. Then they saw Curt taking out a box of needles from his pocket and began inserting them on the woman's body.
In front of everyone's eyes, the wound on the woman's arm began healing at a rate that is visible in the naked eye.
When the wound heals, Curt removes the needles and then shifted his gaze to another patient.
This time no one stopped him as he began jumping from one patient to another. Then after another 30 minutes have passed, Curt suddenly relaxed and rested on the side.
He has finished helping those that are in a dangerous situation. He can now say that they are out of danger. But of course, he would not heal everyone in the room as there are other healers working hard on them.
The woman in white walked near him and handed him a cup.
"Drink… it'll help you relax." She said with a beautiful smile.
"Thank you…" Curt said.
"By the way, are you… are you a field medic in the army?" she asked feeling a bit interested in the young soldier's background.
But before Curt could reply, the door in the room suddenly burst open, and a few people carrying some wounded students suddenly rush inside.
"Help them quickly! We are under attack again!" shouted one of the students as he carefully laid down a young man on the ground.
Hearing his words everyone showed a worried expression on their faces.
However, Curt showed an angry look.
Without another word, Curt suddenly picks up his short rifle and immediately walked out of the room.
