I woke up the next day scared that it was all a dream. I was hugging a fluffy pillow which was the first sign it was real. Just to be sure I slowly lifted my head up and saw a four poster king sized bed. The mattress was memory foam and it was so nice. I didn't ever want to leave this bed. I don't think that I have ever had a bed like this before or even close to this. Then the events of earlier came back to me. The vampires coming over for a meeting, then it all going wrong. The leader of the vampires took me and I remember the pack members screaming. What happened? I sat up slowly trying to understand what I was doing here. Why did they take me? I couldn't see anyone around so I got out of the bed. As much as I wanted to stay in bed I had to get up and figure out what happened. I think the Alpha pissed off the vamps which meant they killed the pack. Now I really had no where to go. What did the vamps want with me? and why am I in this room? It looks like it's suited for a king. The walls were black with gold skirting boards, and pictures of what looked like the same mansion over a long period of time. They were all in gold frames around the room. There were three doors opposite the bed and I wanted to see what was behind them. The one to the right lead to a bathroom which I was very grateful of. I quickly washed the blood off my hand that had dried after yesterday's incident. I wrapped it in the same bandage as yesterday and used the toilet paper folded up to put over the cut before I added the bandage. The middle door was for a walk in closet and the last door led to a mini kitchen. It was simple and had a fridge freezer, a few cupboards, a microwave and oven grill with four hobs. It also had a sink. This room was amazing. I walked back in to the main part and saw the leader of the vamps standing there looking amused. He looked at me and smiled. Why was he smiling? What did he have planned for me? "Hello again little one." He said to me and started to move towards me. I stayed where I was scared of what he would do if I moved. He was now in front of me. He lifted his hand and I flinched away. I know I shouldn't have because then they would hit me harder. But I felt no impact. I opened my eyes to see the vampire move his hand away from me with hurt in his eyes. He took a couple of steps away from me and I let out a breath I was holding in. I had heard about vampires from the wolves that tried to scare me. They told me that vamps suck your blood and bite you everywhere on your body. Then just before they killed you, they would heal you and do it all over again. I didn't want that to happen to me. I couldn't handle that in my life anymore. I just wanted to be free forever. But I really had no idea where I was. I pulled the sleeves down on my top and started to fiddle with the frayed ends. I still had the same clothes on as before. All my clothes consist of long sleeved baggy tops and leggings. Nothing interesting and they were all hand me downs. I heard the vampire sigh and leave. I went try the door to attempt to escape. The door was locked. I went over to the curtains that went to the floor. They were black out ones that covered a window that covered the whole wall. I looked out and my eyes opened in amazement. We were in a forest and it looked like I was in the top floor. I could see over all the trees and over to the river. When I looked to the left, there was a small village where I could only just see people moving around with children running around too. To my right there was the sea. The beautiful sea that I had never seen. I had always dreamed of going to the seaside but I've never been. It looked amazing and endless. I would love to just go on a boat and float to a new place. Start a new life, learn a new language. Maybe even find someone to start a family with. I wouldn't make the same mistakes that my parents made. No matter what trouble I got in I would protect my children. If only I had them maybe my life would be worth living. I thought of dying a lot before. Mainly when I started being a slave to the wolf pack. I did cut my wrists a lot but not deep enough to actually die. I always wake up the next morning with a bad headache. Sighing, I walked over to the bay window and feel asleep looking at the sea, thinking of a different life.
