FAY
I can finally hear the sound of the rustling leaves on the trees and the smell of aromatic flowers in the garden. The gentle breeze was welcoming me home and it was really nice of Camila to bring me out of the mansion for a nice refreshing air and have some alone time with my daughter. I sighed when the breeze touches my skin. How long have I not been able to exposed to such warmth? I can't help but smile at the feel of my surroundings.
I could feel my daughter's little finger slips into mine as we clutched to one another. I am very happy to be reunited with my daughter. It was surprising that little Amy recognized me as her mother and not Micah the second she saw me. According to what Camila said about Amy is whenever Micah was around little Amy would stay away from her as if she knew Micah was a dangerous woman and not her mother. It was definitely surprising. It also feels like Amy is developing some super likeability that the Lumia generations get as they become older. I was hoping she wouldn't become one of them so she could live a normal life with me.
"Mommy," Amy soft voice broke through my trance.
"Yes, little one," I kneeled down and caressed her smooth little hands.
"Does it hurt?" She asked taking a hand up to touch my blindfold. It's a pity I can't see her right now. I want to see how my little daughter is all grown up, but I am already really glad that I have gotten back my body.
"No, little one, it doesn't hurt. Do you mind if mommy asks you a question?" I asked curiously.
"No, I don't mind." I smile her voice is very angelic.
"How did you know I was your mommy and not Micah?"
"Ah... That's easy mommy. I could see two souls in your body, but now I can only see one."
"Two souls?"
"Yes, each and different person has a different kind of souls. You have a very calming and beautiful white and blue-colored soul but Micah has four colored souls which she is very rare the first time I have seen happening but there was black smoke around her. She has some bad air around her which makes it very uncomfortable to be with."
"Huh?" I was surprised. Different colored souls.
"What color does Mom has?"
"Mom? Oh? She is quite unique sky blue with something else I can't make out the colors but she has something missing in her chest. There is no color there. The color looks incomplete."
"Incomplete?"
"I don't know how to explain it but it just feels incomplete."
"Mommy, why are you asking so many questions?"
"That's because I am curious." I laughed.
"Can't you see them?" She asked.
I shook my head. "No, little one, I can't neither can Camila. We are what you call normal human beings who married into this family."
"So... normal people can't see colored souls?"
"We can't nor having any kinds of powers that the people have in this family."
"That sucks!" She complained.
"It really sucks," I agreed with her. "C'mon," I stood up from the ground and held her hand. "Let's go find mom."
"Yes," she said.
Little Amy guided me towards into house all thanks to Camila's advice to Amy that I have temporarily lost my sight. Now she is guiding me to see Erica. Once reached into a certain room. She held open the doorknob on her own and led me inside.
Suddenly Amy stops making me halt. "What's wrong, Amy?"
"Mom's chest there is a color. It's gold! This is so rare mommy. I wish I have the power to let you see mom's aura it is so beautiful. I have never seen gold plus blue color soul before. It's gorgeous, but something seems to still be missing. Mom's aura has gone even more powerful."
"Huh?' That is what it all left my mouth. I couldn't understand what Amy was telling me and I know that Amy couldn't understand what she was seeing as well. She was just seeing the beauty of the colors that are coming out of every person's body.
"C'mon mommy," Amy dragged into the room leading me to a chair and I sat on it.
I placed my hand over to the bed and tried to find Erica's hand and when I did she felt very cold. It was colder than usual. It was she had placed herself into the freezer and she had not come out for days. This kind of thing always screams danger to me but according to what Dr. Kieran said that Erica's situation was not life-threatening, but I am always worried. The whole mafia business is worrisome. However, I know this is something Erica has taken up and has the responsibility to take care of it.
"Mom will wake up soon," Amy stated.
Before I could even question Amy a groaned voice left Erica. Quickly I got up off my chair and wanted to pull Erica into an embrace but before I could even do it I tripped over something and Erica's cold hand caught me and pulled me into her. I gasp and panted as my body crashed into Erica's. I was so in a hurry to see that my love has woken up that I didn't take a feel around my surroundings.
"Hey love," Erica whispered into my ears and I relaxed in her embrace. "Hey, Amy."
"Hey mom," Amy greeted. "I can see your soul got more beautiful. Where is Chione, mom?"
Erica was left quite silent. "Little Amy, I see that you have inherited the power of a priestess."
"Mom, you feel different the gold aura is overpowering the blue. Something seems off, mom."
Erica didn't speak for a while and the way Amy sound even more worried than I certainly do give me the creep. "Amy quickly get Dr. Kieran in here."
"Yes, ma."
When I heard Amy leaving the room. I held on to Erica's hand. Something does seem off. Erica's body temperature was not returning back to normal. I quickly blew some of my breath onto her hand to keep her warm, but Erica quickly took her hand and grabbed mine her hands were slightly trembling. "What is going on Erica? What are you not telling me? Please, I don't want any secret kept between us."
"I- I am afraid, Fay. I don't know how long I can stay as myself."
"What is going on Erica?"
"I-"
"Is that-" Kieran's voice entered the room.
"Purple eyes," Samuel finished the sentence.
