Synopsis
Robin died when he was just ten due to his asthma. After that, he was reincarnated into an unkown world as the crown prince's twin brother of some empire where he was allowed to live a comfortable life. However, as everyone kept comparing him with his brother and even there were gossips about how much of a burden he was to him, Robin made up his mind to run away from the empire and give up his position as the second prince. A carefree life as a commoner wouldn't be that bad after all, everyone would be happy. It's easier to think it than doing it though.

Chapter 1 - Runaway prince plan's setup

The tips of my fingers traveled over the soft fabric that enveloped my bed, and my body with it. I could hear the slight sound of footsteps in the distance in addition to the song of the birds that used to wake up at this time.

Accidentally my little habit of getting up early remained even after death, even though I disliked it. As I wished I could stay in bed a little longer, my eyes closed again falling asleep once more.

Next time I woke up was due to my gentle brother's calls.

"Robin, it's time for breakfast. Our parents must have been waiting for us."

While I was trying to reincorporate from the heaven-like bed, I thought about his words. Since I reincarnated when this body was two years old, none of our parents ever seemed like they cared about me, they rarely touched me at all or allowed me to play freely and I couldn't go out without at least my personal servant Ray so there was not even a moment alone.

"You should go first." I said rubbing my black eyes which started to gain a red color because of the pricking tears that threatened to escape, even if my mind should be that of an adult this body of a twelve years old child couldn't help but react easily at my strongest emotions, besides being so weak.

"Are you sure?" my brother asked a bit worried and I nod slowly trying not to show my face while stepping on the floor. When he was finally gone, my servant Ray came inside to help me change. When we were childs, a nanny was asigned to both Jaden and I, but since my asthma showed for the first time in this life they added Ray specifically for me alone.

Yes, even though I died the asthma followed me through worlds apparently. It still scares me a bit but the episodes are rarely bad and when I feel the sympthoms my own way of solving them is not telling to anyone unless it's painful and isolating myself for a while. Even though asphyxia is quite a terrifying death it is also peaceful, at least last time I had my mother's warm arms. But in this life I had no one to hug and losing my breath made me feel lonely, if I were to die because of asthma it wouldn't be so beautiful as last time.

Ray followed after me to the hall and helped me as usually to open the door which was a bit heavy for me. Inside the dining room loomed a long mahogany table covered in a black tablecloth, at the head was the ruler of this Jhaen Empire my father Albon, while on the opposite side was Empress Petra, my mother.

"Good morning." I mumbled taking a seat in the middle of the table next to my twin brother who smiled slightly before hiding a bit with his silver hair. Our parents just made slight noises of recognition while another small voice responded to me with energy.

"Good morning, brother Robin!"

That was our six-year-old little sister, Wendy, the only princess of the empire. Who was also the only one besides Ray and Jaden to openly show me a bit of affection. Her lovely ebony eyes shined as her hair (also silver) danced behind her.

There was a short period of silence as everyone ate their food before Wendy interrupted and tried to make conversation as every morning, listening to father's apreciation of my little sister's good grades soon my scrumbled eggs were gone and the orange juice as well.

"I'll take my leave." I said not waiting for a response.

While walking through the corridor I wondered when was the last time someone praised me for doing something good, was it when my violin performance had been perfect three years ago? Was Ray the one to praise me? Oh yes, that time I still had little pride left and since my parents talked about how good Jaden was with piano I thought that if I was good at violin they would finally love me.

It was clearly a mistake though, even when my bandaged and tired fingers performed perfectly they just prohibited me to touch any instrument ever again.

"Prince Robin, should we go to the garden?" the voice of the blonde man walking at my backs startled me for a second. I tend to forget the fact that he's always following me since he is so quiet and me as well, we rarely talk to each other even if he's almost an older brother to me. In my last life I had no friends, I could never understand how making friends do work so I didn't tried luck in this life. Waiting for people to approach me first is at least more secure than risking my face.

"Prince Robin?" Ray asked again. I stopped before changing the route.

"Yes, let's go to the Garden."

Arriving in front of the garden table, sheltered by a large blue umbrella, I turned to the blonde while holding my hands behind my back.

"Ray, can we play hide and seek?" I asked timidly and carefully. I rarely ask for things and I don't like giving orders, but at least my shyness was something tender for others, which made it easier for them to listen to me.

"Soon I won't have to worry about dealing with people anyway." I thought forcing my lips into a grimace to prevent my smile from showing.

The man looked around doubtly and fortunately there was no guards, no reason to deny my request. He finally nodded and I let out my smile before running to the forest at the end of the garden, there was a point were the forest was separated by a tall wall of iron were more guards stayed so it was not dangerous at all.

"Count to 100!" I said before entering the forest.

I ran carelessly to a certain tree at the middle of the forest, when I was nine after finally making my escape plan I marked this tree with a tiny X at the bottom, at the top was a hole big enough for me to fit in, it was a nice hidden 'house' tree.

I climbed carefully, trying not to hurt my hands so no one would suspect a thing. When reaching the top, the first thing I took from the hole covered by a thick courtain was a notepad which layed up a tiny mountain of golden coins and high quality materials I robbed from the castle.

In the first page was a list.

"Step one, get money. Done. Step two, distance. Uhm...done? No one will notice anyways." I mumbled thoughtful. "Step three, maps...oh, I forgot that one." I had already learned the politics of the country, the graphics was still needed.

The remaining steps were just waiting, acting and finally find the perfect timing which would be our, Jaden and I, birthday. Everybody would be specially around Jaden.

And I, young Robin, will be long gone.
