Chapter 36 - Training

Zeron formally became the disciple of master raging bull.

The ceremony of disciple acceptance is not complicated.

The master would take his disciple to the sect's ancestral shrine. After bowing to the tablets of past seniors of the sect, the ceremony would be completed.

After leaving the ancestral shrine. Zeron said to his master, "Master, now that I am under your tutelage, what would you teach me first."

The master Raging Bull replied, "Today you rest; tomorrow, come to my hut to begin your training."

He paused, then looked at Zeron with a sadistic grin, which made Zeron feel a chill in his back.

"You will enjoy the training."

The next day. Early that morning when it was misty and cloudy up top the mountain.

In Master Raging Bull hut, up the mountain.

Zeron stood before the hut which is now wide open.

When he looked inside, surprisingly it was clean and neat. Not what you would expect from the outer appearance of the hut.

The interior contained a table, a chair, a bed, a shelf that contained dozens of books, and a weapon rack that contained an assortment of weapons.

Master Raging Bull walked out and stood in front of Zeron. He looked at him and said, "Attack me with your full strength."

"Okay, master."

Without an ounce of hesitation, Zeron attacked him.

He punched his chest forcefully with his right hand. But the sound of flesh hitting flesh did not occur, but a metallic sound was what ringed out.

"Ouch!"

Zeron held his swollen palm which was red all over with blisters on the knuckles.

He tried to suppress a tear and looked at his master with an aggrieved expression.

Master Raging Bull was laughing inwardly at his tricks, but when he saw his disciple's expressions, he had a guilty conscience.

"Cough, cough."

He made a terrible cough in other to cover his guilty conscience.

He said, "I wanted to show you that a powerful cultivator is also strong physically and not only in qi cultivation."

He continued by saying, "What differentiates a strong cultivator and a weak cultivator in the same cultivation level is that a strong cultivator has cultivated to the extreme of every cultivation level while a weak cultivator only has a shallow understanding of his cultivation level."

Zeron was listening with rapt attention.

Master Raging Bull looked at him and said. "You, for example,, is a definition of a weak cultivator. If that girl hadn't underestimated you, you wouldn't have gotten the chance to use your forbidden technique."

"She outclassed you by far. You won't know the terror of her potential until you reach a certain level."

Zeron was surprised by what master raging bull said because he thought he was only a little bit weaker than Jiao Dayu.

He thought it was only the difference in the cultivation stage, but what his master said made him realize that he did not understand her strength.

As for doubting his master's words, he would be the biggest fool to doubt an experienced cultivator because of arrogance.

From the day he saw people fighting in the air when he transmigrated into this world, he stopped underestimating the dangers of this world.

He knew the level of damage the man of steel in the movies can cause, and compared to the cultivator world, which is a thousand times worse.

Master Raging Bull threw him a condiment for him to apply to his arms.

He said, "From today, you will undergo a rigorous set of exercises that will push you to the extreme of the body tempering stage. Though your cultivation speed will slow down, in the long run, it will make you extremely terrifying."

Master Raging Bull walked into his hut and came back with a book, which he threw to Zeron.

Zeron looked at the book, and it contained human drawings showing punches, jumping, kicking, squatting,, and many poses.

"Practice according to what is written in the book." Master Raging Bull said.

Zeron looked at the book carefully and cringed his face seconds later.

Why?. Because the requirement in the book is outrageous.

He looked at his master with a worried look. He thought that maybe he had made a wrong decision when choosing a master.

But before he could continue thinking in that direction. His master clapped his back with such force that it made him stagger.

"No time for dilly-dallying. Time to train!." His master happily said.

Zeron could only release a sigh and accept his fate.

He opened the first drawing of the book and followed the instructions there.
