Li parked his car and got out of it slowly knowing that he had reached there first. He didn't want to go in and look at those unlucky faces.
He had a bad week and he suspected that it was all because of their disastrous faces and their harmful fates.
He shouldn't have seen them after all, those problems were confronted after meeting them last time.
The passing clouds had funny shapes. One of them looked like a lollipop.
He craved some sweets looking at the lollipop-shaped cloud.
His phone rang promptly relieving him of boredom from waiting all alone.
"Brother Li, Where are you?" Xu Feiqun lively voice sounded from the other side. There was a lot of noise and jeering coming from there.
"I am somewhere in between Heaven and Hell" Li casually answered not wanting to explain those troublesome things.
"What!?"
"Are you dying?"
Li had to say that this particular person was really stupid.
"Shut up. What did you call me for?"
The other side was silent for a minute.
"Feiqun, you stupid fool. If you have something to say then hurry up."
Li could hear faint breathing from the phone then a cold voice spoke out
"I'm not Xu Feiqun"
Li eyes widened a little before they returned to normal "Qi Cheng"
"Yes"
The fingers gripping the phone twitched a little when he heard him admit it. He had a weird feeling talking to Qi Cheng after that time. He spewed all those nonsense to the protagonist when he wasn't sober. He had an urge to cover his face even if he knew that his seatmate couldn't see his face.
"You have something to say to me" Li hesitantly asked as he leaned against his car staring at the cloudy sky.
"No..."
"I was just wondering what you were doing"
"Are you alright?"
Li instantly knew that his seatmate was worried about him doing something stupid. Who would believe a crazy kid who has emotional instability and suicidal thoughts?
"I came back to my home today because of some matters" Li kindly explained it to him.
"I will return soon"
"Umm"
"Be safe and come back before the curfew"
Li smiled and hung up the phone after few words.
A black Bentley stopped beside Li but he didn't look up from his phone.
Han Ying and Yu Xingun looked at Li weirdly as they stood beside Li.
The mobile screen was already turned off after not touching it for a long time but Li was still staring at the black screen in a daze.
"What's the matter?" Hang Ying softly pushed his dazed son to get his attention.
"It's nothing." Li lightly replied and pushed his phone back into his pockets.
"You should go in and rest" His little brother must be tired after all that happened today. He should take a good rest.
"You aren't coming in?" Yu Xingyun whined already knowing the answer. His brother rarely comes home, he can't find more time to spend with his brother.
"Come on, you can stay here for today"
"I don't want to see them." Li straightforwardly said his thought without any hesitation. He was not ready to face more troubles for today.
"Okay brother. Drive safe." Yu Xingyun nodded and went inside the house. He was tired after the long day. He was reluctant to let go of his brother but he couldn't force him.
He ignored his mother who tried to speak to him and slammed the door shut. He didn't have much of a good attitude toward his mother.
Most of all, he was disgusted by her.
"Are you sure you are alright these days?" Han Ying suddenly asked Li out of nowhere.
Li had a sense of deja vu. What with people and their common question.
"What can happen to me? I am fine" Li assured his father though he hadn't expected that question from him, he didn't think much.
"If you have something going on, you can tell me. You don't have to bear anything alone" Han Ying finished saying what he wanted and looked at his son expectantly.
Li hummed in agreement and sent his father away after reassuring for countless times.
Li leaned against his car and looked at the scenery which hasn't changed much.
The mansion looked the same as always, elegant and luxurious. The rose bushes were trimmed neatly as always. The fountain where his brother always lost his coins was still as beautiful as before.
The trees that were thick behind the house, the lawn that was always cleaned and taken care of, the swing which his brother liked to play most of the time in his childhood,
The mansion was beautiful and full of vitality but it wasn't his home.
He didn't know the place he should be calling home. He just wanted to wander around and play now. He thought that he would pick himself up after living a new life
But he couldn't be more wrong. He now just had the mentality of playing around.
He faced towards the clouds and made a jealous statement "I want to float around like you too"
"Can't we exchange our places?"
"I will surely be reborn as a cloud next time so I am not jealous of these floaty things"
Li glanced at the mansion for one last time before getting inside the car. There were almost no traces of him inside the house where his precious memories were supposed to be found, there was nothing to be sad about it.
He successfully returned to his dormitory before the curfew but it was still late at night.
Xu Feiqun was already asleep when he opened to door to his dormitory.
He was tired but he chose to exercise for some time with difficulty. Who told him to be stubborn about having a strong body. After some time he finally collapsed on his bed after taking a hot shower.
He didn't disturb the sleeping roommate and turned off the lights.
Li got up early in the morning and freshened up. He glanced at the still soundly sleeping Feiqun and tied up his shoelaces.
"Hey, Get up" Li called out but no one replied to him. He shook his head and went out.
After completing his morning run he went back to his room and kicked the sleeping pig off his bed.
Li took a long shower and changed his clothes. He eyed his bag but didn't pick it up. He had no idea of studying in the class, he wanted to sleep. He found it too boring to listen to the teachers, he didn't know how his seatmate was able to do it.
There was a pig sprawled on the floor sleeping heavily.
Li didn't bother to wake him up anymore and left.
"Han Zhuoli!"
Li heard someone calling his name when he was going to enter the classroom. He looked back and saw the male protagonist running toward himself.
