The zombie wobbled toward them and banged against the window. It kept banging against the window repeatedly.
The window was coloured with red blood and the sight wasn't pretty. It looked straight out of a horror movie.
Everyone was frightened and they squeezed with each other. They were occupying a pitifully small space.
Li took out his cellphone and took a picture of the ugly zombie stunning, everyone.
He sent a text to his father along with the picture warning him about it. He told him to take good care of himself.
He sent another text to his brother along with the picture and told him to stay with Luo Jin and others. He also reminded him to pick up Qi Yi. He would come to get them soon.
It was a wise move to send a fast text and he knew that his cellphone would be useless after a moment.
He wanted Feiqun to call his father but the network was gone in an instant. He was lucky enough to send a message before that or Feiqun was the plain unlucky one.
"Be quiet" Li ordered to the noisy classroom and everyone instantly shut up under his sharp gaze.
The zombie looked confused for a moment as if he didn't know where his food has run off to.
"It has no sight and it looks like it only depends on his hearing" Qi Cheng whispered to Li who had already figured it out.
"Does it behave like a zombie that is often shown in the movies?" Xu Feiqun asked curiously.
"Right" Li sighed annoyed by the ugly face sticking on his window.
Li suddenly opened the window and picked up his chair smashing on its head.
Xu Feiqun jaw dropped down and others had no time to react.
The zombie staggered back but quickly lunged forward with a wide-open mouth.
Li banged the chair against its head to smithereens.
"I don't want to see such an ugly face when I turn around"
Li moved away his broken bangs interfering with his eyes and breathe a relieved sigh. He didn't want to look at such an ugly face near him.
Xu Feiqun was speechless. Can someone tell him what is wrong with his friend's head?
"Well, they aren't going turn beautiful for your sake" Xi Feiqun stated as a matter of fact.
Li gave Feiqun a cross stare. Why would that idiot bicker with him in everything he says?
"Are you alright?" Qi Cheng asked worriedly.
Li rotated his shoulder and nodded to him."I'm fine"
The zombie suddenly melted away and a lollipop was revealed.
Li thought that he was hallucinating after craving lollipops too much that he was even expecting it from a zombie.
"Is that a lollipop?" Xu Feiqun asked shocked rubbing his eyes.
"It looks like" Qi Cheng affirmed their thoughts.
Li inexplicably had a sudden desire to punch the stupid author. Was he writing a novel or a game? Was he thinking of resident evil while writing the novel?
He could write a novel a hundred times better than this silly author.
Other students hesitated but still moved forward and stared at them. Everyone started to have a short conversation on how it appeared there.
Li leaned down the window and picked up the lollipop.
The wrapper was unravelled and it was popped into the awaiting mouth. The strawberry flavour exploded in his mouth.
"W-What are you doing?" Qi Cheng asked dumbfounded.
Other students also looked at Li-like they had seen an alien. They slowly backed away and stuck to the wall of the classroom on the other side.
In movies, it is shown that people get infected after being bitten by zombies. Although Li didn't get bitten by a zombie, he ate something that dropped from a zombie.
What if he was infected and turned into a zombie.
They would be in danger at first. They distanced themselves and sat down in a group finding security among themselves.
"How can you eat it just like that" Xu Feiqun soul was almost leaving his body when he saw that the lollipop from an unknown origin was on his friend's mouth.
Li thought that Feiqun was talking nonsense again. Lollipops are supposed to be eaten, who would keep them for decorations.
"How is it?" Qi Cheng asked hesitantly.
Li licked his canine teeth and slightly raised his lips "It's sweet"
"He wasn't asking you about its taste" Xu Feiqun shouted in anger.
Li turned a deaf ear to him and snagged another chair, sitting comfortably.
When others saw that Li was fine, they were relieved. They weren't worried about Li, they were worried about their safety.
Suddenly there was no chair left in the classroom when the other remaining students picked up chairs and ran outside.
Li glanced at them and took back his gaze uninterested. "They want to die."
He already knew what they must have thought to bravely go out of the classroom after he killed a zombie.
They must have thought that it was easy to kill zombies after watching him kill them and the appearance of a lollipop meant that they would have food if they kill one.
They thought that it would be easy to move in a group and rushed out in unity.
Feiqun nodded along with Li. Just because his awesome boss could kill them easily meant that it would be the same for them.
"They sure are stupid"
Qi Cheng agreed with them. They were panicked and their thinking was in a mess, they thought that they would be able to do it too.
Qi Cheng turned his head to the next corner and unexpectedly saw two more students.
One of them was still surprisingly sleeping until now and the other was trying to wake him up.
"What are we going to do now? Are we going out too?" Xu Feiqun looked at Li and raised a question. He was also very worried about his family.
"I am also worried about my brother" Qi Cheng frowned in trouble. His brother was very small and wouldn't be able to take care of himself in such chaos.
"Don't worry about it, I have sent a text to Yun and told him to stay with your brother"
Qi Cheng nodded gratefully.
"Why are you ignoring me again?" Xu Feiqun whined. What had he done to get this treatment?
"Oh, Was I?" Li asked lazily.
"You were!" Feiqun shouted in the grievance.
"Ah, I didn't know" Was the careless reply he got in return.
Xu Feiqun gritted his teeth and sat down with a snort.
"Let me sleep for ten more minutes"
All of their attention was instantly diverted to the new voice that rang in the quiet classroom.
Li thought that the voice was quite familiar but he couldn't place his finger on it.
"The world has turned upside down but you're still sleeping like a pig"
"Get up" Yan Zheming scolded his seatmate with a disgruntled expression.
Li didn't bother watching a pig and its keeper anymore. He could feel the presence of another person waking up without having to look at them.
"Let's go" Li finally compromised to get up and stretched lightly.
Qi Cheng and Xu Feiqun simultaneously got up obediently eager to move.
