"And what do you need me for??"
Alister questioned with a sass.
"To spy on my brother..."

The crowd in the bar came to halt when a man in his late twenties, jet black hair shining in the sleek light, his face ever so charming, good Brazilian genes reflected on his features, his long steps as moved forward caused havoc in the bodies of the feminine creatures as they watched him in awe, wanting to get close to him, get to know him, touch him maybe...oh how that was not possible...they knew that.
"Do you see him??"
"I do...he is here."
"Then get to work. "
His eyes, so grey, so dark, so clear, she could see her reflection in it. His aura emitting an essence of confidence in every direction...a trait of fear...along with him, there was something about him that told to not mess with him.
"You just follow him and spill the straining red wine on his coat which contains the paper of Will. He obviously would not be able to get on the meeting with the lawyers with a strained coat. Then when he will go to the washroom, you sneak the papers off. "
Men in black coats came near him as they greet him. His lips were zipped as if he had no interest in talking to them. He seemed like someone who did not care about what others thought about him.
"Are you listening?? Hey??"
Alister starred out from her reverie and looked away from him as she pressed the head phone more closer to her left ears.
"Yeah...yeah...I get it. I got this."
She said and grabbed the glass of red wine from the waiter passing by in a haste. She moved her gaze from his as he was busy conversing with the men.
In a swift, she stole a quick glance of him not to stir any suspicion. He was an efficient man who was not to be messed with. She had come to know that by now just by watching him from afar.
She was given good teaching on getting a quick summary by just watching the client they were assigned to. Being a red sparrow that was what to be their primary skill which they got to master and help them alert of all the dangers they might come to face from the client.
"Do not get swayed by his looks."
"I have done this a hundred times now, thanks to Jeff."
Alister muttered with her red lips pressed tightly so that nobody would know that she was talking to someone.
"Get the job done then."
"Here it goes."
She said and straightened her violet slit gown. Her hairs tied in a bun making her look so exotic, face clear of heavy makeup as she strode forward, holding the flute of red wine tightly.
"Good luck!"
"Keep it to yourself!"
She said and then continued to walk forward, swiftly looking in his way, and when she was closer, her breathing quickened.
She had no idea why she was getting nervous. She had done this so many times. Three times a week, the same act to get the job done.
As she was about to move past him and flicked her flute of red wine in his direction, she tripped off, and the glass flew up in the air, red liquid spilling all over her face as she lost control over her stature and landed on his arm as he held her.
The glass fell and could have smashed on her but instead, he moved his right palm on her face covering it and letting the glass break on his coated bicep.
She kept her eyes closed afraid, expecting the glass to make contact with her face but when she did not feel it, she opened her eyes only to see one pair of deep grey iris looking in her way....concerned...
His one hand supporting her by her waist, her both hands clutching his coat collars tightly in fear of slipping off and falling on her butt on the tiled floor.
It was as if the time had stopped, as her heart raced to get the chance to look at him up so close...he looked like a dream...a prince that comes only in your dream with the same face as his...
"Are you alright??"
His voice...his deep voice caused a chaos in her entire being but it also bought her back to her senses that she messed up a big time.
Failed to do what she came to do. Never had such a mistake had happened.
But she was still close to him and she knew she could never get this close to him ever...or it would be equally tough to even be this close to him ever so she needed to execute her plan B right away.
"Yeah...I m...Fine..."
She tried to stand up, detaching her body from his but intentionally slipping, and this time moving one of her hand behind to grab his paper from there, acting as if she was going to just hold him there on the back for support but even before she could, he held her hand and swung her in a circle, making her land on him...
Her hand holding on his shoulders for support, his hands wrapped tightly around her waist, their face so close...so close as if they were breathing the same air. And she could see her panicking self straight in his grey orbs.
"Are you alright now??"
Her eyes dropped down to stare at his full lips as warm air hit her face, coming from him. She gulped the saliva down her throat as she struggled to voice out. She had failed yet again.
"I m fi...fine...I m fine..."
She could not believe why did she sound like a nervous kid caught red-handed from stealing the Christmas candies.
She detached herself from him and maintained a quick distance from him. He let go of her even though he did not like it.
"Thank you..."
She mouthed and quickly stormed away from there, not daring to look back at him as he did.
Whispers started brewing as it never happened that Ryan Del Cardoso looking back on a woman.
"Keep a look on her."
He spoke away into his attached earphone and turned to walk forward.
