I looked at the boy with an extremely puzzled expression.
"Ehm... Come again?" I asked the boy to repeat his sentence.
"I need your help, you're part of the Media Club, right?" he asked.
"Yeah, I am." I firmly said.
"Great! Can you help me? I want to ask Ms. Sayuri out... But I don't know how to!" he finally said it properly.
So he wants advice on how to ask girls out? From me? Dude, I don't even know you.
"Ehm, please give me some time to think about it.
I mean, I don't even know or trust you, yet you're already asking me for a huge favor." I respectfully declined.
"Oh! Then let's get to know each other then! Let's meet up sometime! I'll message you on FaceBrick!" the boy said as he rushed out of the room.
"Wait! What was your name again? I'm sorry I forget even though we're classmates." I reached out to him grabbed his shoulder lightly.
"Ah! It's Hotaka Matsuura! Call me Hotaka!" He said as he gave me a thumbs up.
Why does everyone give a pose or a sign every time I meet them?
"Akari..." I said to him shyly...
"Alright! Bye Akari!" he said as he sprinted out of the classroom.
Alright, that was a weird exchange, But I don't think he understood me when I said I didn't know him that well. I guess this could be the start of another friend?
I told my friends the other story, leaving out the part where he asked me to help him ask Kana out.
"Woah! He's definitely into you." Haruka said as she ate her burger.
The other two agreed with her.
"I don't know, he probably just wants to be friends, you know?" I said.
"Nah, he likes you." Hotaru said.
"I mean, it's obvious, isn't it? He asked for you and only you to talk after class. Come on, that's a typical romance novel right there!" Kana said.
Oh, if she only knew what we talked about...
