It is early in the morning on the day of the crowning ceremony when Milla hears some vampires tip-toeing the halls outside her room. She definitely feels their presence right outside her doors and her sleep is now disturbed. She tries to continue her sleep and it irks her that she can not, "What is it?"
The vampires outside are scared to death upon hearing Milla's voice that sounds annoyed. A man carrying a black long dress cover bravely answers her with respect, "Lady Milla, they are ready to help you, whenever you want."
"Nobody move or talk," Milla grumbles before she closes her eyes and falls asleep. After 3 hours of sleeping, she wakes up with all the arrivals of innumerable vampires entering the island, "Door's open."
Dionne opens the doors with the black long dress cover hanging on his arms, followed by female vampires and servants who have their heads down. He walks to the black chaise bedroom bench and lays the covered gown of Milla on it, "I'll leave it here, Lady Milla. Please let them help you prepare."
With that being said, Dionne leaves the room and Milla walks lazily to her bathroom wearing a simple white long-sleeved one-piece nightwear that reaches her ankles. The vampires can't help to peek at this captivating being with her dark red long hair that looks like it's dancing in the air. What causes them to steal a glance is how she looks close to perfection even with her simplicity.
One of the vampire servants follows her to the bathroom and takes out some essentials like shampoo, conditioner, soap from a cabinet inside the bathroom. She leaves it on top of the side of the bathtub and politely explains to Milla about its uses, "Lady Milla, you may use this to clean your hair after it's wet, a small amount would do and spread it to your hair. This one is for your body by rubbing it, then you can rinse it off with water. That is all, Lady Milla. I shall take my leave."
Milla enters the shower room after she takes off all of her clothes, she turns on the rainfall feature, turning it off before she pours a not-so-little amount of shampoo on her hand compared to what is normal. She's successful in spreading it to her hair, but there are too many bubbles formed and it's starting to drip on her face. Ending up with her getting a pungent pain in her eyes as she thinks, 'Is this making me blind?!'
'Rinse it off with water!' She reaches for one of the knobs and the waterfall feature is switched on. After a few minutes of washing her long hair, she grabs the soap and sniffs it- never in her life had she seen something like this and it really smells like roses. Then Milla exits the bathroom wearing her white bathrobe that touches the floor while she's still dripping wet.
All they can think about is how alluring Milla is, and if any male human or vampire sees her like this, they might go crazy. Milla notices a servant who pulled the chair under her mirror table, and there are other vampires near there who do not look like servants. So she walks towards them and sits on the chair.
One of the female vampires who wear better clothing courteously speaks to Milla, "Lady Milla, may I dry your hair?" Milla nods to her a little as the vampire grabs the ionic hair dryer and explains, "I'll be using this to dry your hair, Lady Milla. This produces hot air and it wouldn't damage your hair."
Milla looks cautiously at the hairdryer through its reflection in the mirror, making the hairstylist pray for her life. Luckily, Milla closed her eyes when she felt the hot air, it's relaxing for her. But deep inside, she's a little shocked by it. The hairstylist never got the chance to fix her hair nor put make-up on her, because Milla doesn't want to. Then, they help her wear her gown- an off-shoulder red gown with lace beading paired with gold heels.
Knowing Milla, she discards the heels as she wears brown long cowboy shoes instead. But, whatever shoes she wears will be fine because the gown's bottom truly drops to the floor. This simplicity of hers- no make-up, no accessories, and hair let down, but still a breathtaking beauty.
Looking forward to seeing this beauty is an island full of vampires, literally. Vampires are everywhere, from the outside of the mansion and also reaching the shores. Some are even on parts of the island farther from the private ceremony since it's already too crowded near it. While in the garden where the crowning ceremony will be held, only a few are there- the vampire royalties, Grand Elders, and the elite vampire guards. Some vampires from the vampire army are also summoned here to guard the whole island, especially the surroundings of the mansion.
Milla walks on the new red carpet laid on the stairs and the carpets are laid reaching the doors connecting to the garden. The head servant feels the dangerous aura behind the doors as she announces, "Lady Milla Valentiana has arrived." Everyone in the garden stands up, and those who still can not see Milla continue to anticipate until the ceremony ends.
Two guards from the inside of the mansion open the doors for Milla as she walks to the garden with the white carpet laid on the grass for her. All their heads are turned to her direction, and it is impossible for them to stop looking at her. Milla steps on the platform at the end of the carpet where the Grand Elder that Lucinda saved is waiting for her.
The crowning ceremony starts as Frederick, the Grand Elder, proclaims and it is being broadcasted to the entire island, "We are gathered here to welcome Milla Valentiana in our community, which will start a new revolution for us, vampires. She is the only remaining ancient vampire seen on Earth with her age being 323 years old and the strongest vampire there is. Everyone here will be the witness as Lady Milla stamps her blood print in The Cartea Vampirelor, the ancient book of Vampires."
Instead of stabbing her right thumb a little, Milla takes the small knife and casually opens a long wound on her left palm, letting the blood flow out, then dips her right thumb to it. She stamps her blood print on the next page after Lucinda's. Even the new vampire royalties or Lionel have never seen this book but only heard about it. It's been in Frederick's care all this time, passed on to him by Lucinda for the next rightful leader.
The vampires witness her wound healing rapidly, leaving no scars which aren't common for them. Their wounds heal slowly, sometimes it takes weeks or even a month. It always leaves a scar especially if it's too big of a wound. Frederick slightly holds Milla's left wrist and raises it to show them her bloody palm with no wound seen, "All hail the one and only Vampire Empress!"
The vampire royalties and the Grand Elders respectfully bow to her while the elite vampire guards kneel. The few servants present bow in an almost ninety degrees posture, "All hail the Vampire Empress!"
"All hail the Vampire Empress!" Every vampire in the entire island shouts this in unison to praise Milla. In reality, some of them disagree with this coronation since no one knows her, and she is currently wanted by the humans to pay for the massacre she did. This might start a war between vampires and humans.
Milla leaps to the mansion's roof by climbing a tree that has a huge space between it and the mansion, but she still closes the distance easily as she jumps to the railings of a balcony on the second floor. Then, she jumps to hang on to the railings on a balcony on the third floor. And so on, until she hangs on to a water pipeline on the side and climbs it up to the roof.
Everything she did looks like it's that easy, any vampire can do it but not that fast. They also know that for Milla, it's like strolling in a park and she could do it with an even faster speed. She walks leisurely on the uneven roof, and everyone can hear her footsteps.
So the expecting vampires look up to the roof, see the red-haired vampire wearing a red gown, and they all become speechless. No one speaks after a while until someone realizes something and kneels to bow at Milla. Like a domino, every vampire kneels down and shouts with their heads down, "All hail the Vampire Empress!"
Those vampires that are further away are trying to squeeze their way into the front of the mansion, they can not because it is already too crowded. They did not expect her to be this enchanting and at the same time, exudes a murderous aura. The anticipation of what Milla will do next is making them all stiff and distressed.
