"This place is nice. The interior is so much wider than the old store"
"There's some room in the back and on the second floor too"
"Yay! Wide place! Hahaha!"
"Misha, please stop running around!"
Saya quite impress with the new store. Musha back from checking the other room while Misha running around inside the building to be scolded by Musha.
"Yup, I made a good decision to choose this place"
"Yes, this is a nice place. There's even more room upstairs. We use that as bedroom"
"But there are 2 small room upstairs"
"2 bedrooms will do. I can sleep with Misha, right Misha?"
"Yes! Misha will sleep with big brother!"
Misha hugs Arlan as she said that. The building indeed bigger than the old store, and there's even more room for them to sleep in. the room at the back of the build could be used as warehouse for storing more ingredients and Arlan also could use it as Scroll Making facility for private use only.
"Well, let's start prepare the store. How's the furniture that we prepared at the tribe?"
"Yes, all of it is in my storage. Let me arrange the furniture first"
Arlan took out the furniture that they prepared back at the tribe before they went to the city. As for the furniture, there's some big shelf, wall shelf, chairs, cabinets, glass display cabinets, and tables. Since they don't know how much they'll going need it, they made a bunch of furniture.
"Alright, all done, what do you think?"
"Mm, it looks nice. Thank you, Arlan"
Saya hugs Arlan which make Musha making a pouting face toward Arlan. Seeing that, Misha copied Saya and hug Arlan.
"Today we'll only arranged a few things in the store, tomorrow I'll register as adventurer"
"Adventurer? Can I join?"
"Are you sure? It's quite dangerous though"
"It's fine, you already train me. Besides, we'll go together"
"Alright then, we'll go tomorrow morning"
"Misha too!"
"Misha want to be an adventurer too?"
"Yes! As long as Misha is with big brother, Misha will follow big brother!"
"Alright, but Misha must follow my instruction, if not, Misha not allowed to come along"
"Yes, big brother! Misha will be obedient to big brother!"
"Good girl"
As day turn darker, the nightfall welcomes them with some chill wind.
"Tonight, sure a bit cold"
"Yeah, you're right. We'll going to need some blanket"
Musha and Saya mentioned the weather that night but after Arlan gave them some blanket, they stop complaining. Misha couldn't stay up late, so she already fell asleep. Since everyone are sleeping, Arlan decide to make a contract with all spirit tonight while making a few learning scrolls.
"I'll use the back room for now. Alright, what should I do to make a contract with the other spirit?"
He summoned Dya to learn contract-making.
"Dya, do you know how I can summon other spirit and make a contract with them?"
��I think master need to use any magic from their element and make a certain magic circle on the ground"
"That's it?"
"Well, each spirit requires certain ground. For fire spirit, they need easy-to-burn ground, the ice spirit needs water, and earth spirit could be call on any dirt ground"
"Alright, thank you so much Dya"
After thanking Dya, Arlan create several learning scroll for ice and earth element. He successfully makes an [Ice Wall] learning scroll and a [Stone Armor] learning scroll from papyrus and other material he just bought several days ago.
"I hope it's enough"
He learned both magic. He doesn't want to create a big fire inside the building, so he chooses a better spot. He went outside the city and started the preparation.
5 planks on the ground with a magic circle drew on it. The structure on the magic circle is that of a fire spirit, like what Dya showed to Arlan on the grassy ground.
"Is this it, Dya?"
"Yes master! Now, use the fire magic, any magic with fire element, and transfer it to the magic circle"
"Alright"
With Dya's command, Arlan put his right hand on the drawn magic circle on the planks and start transferring his [Fire Bird] structure into the circle. The circle lit up and a spirit summoned in front of him. Same as Dya before, the spirit is fully naked, a body like a child, with fire covering the skin.
"Are you fire spirit?"
"Yes, are you my summoner?"
"Yeah, I'm here want to make a contract with you"
"A mere morta—wait, this scent, Your Highness, Vermillion Dragon God!?"
"Umm, I do have the mark of Vermillion Dragon God"
"I don't think it's just a normal mark, you actually met him, aren't you?"
"How did you know?"
"'Course I know. Alright, lent me your hand"
Although he doesn't know why he should lent his hand, but he obediently lend his hand. With a bit of tickle sensation on his palm, a symbol was drawn on his hand and quickly disappeared.
��There, with that, you're now my new Master. If you wish to change my name, you can do it right now, Master!"
"Alright, I will call you Sally, is that fine?"
"Yes Master, from now on, my name is Sally. Thank you Master"
With that, Arlan made a contract with the fire spirit, Sally, and now, he did the same thing with other spirit. Within few minutes, he already has 4 spirits, Dya, Sally, Snowy, and Nomy. Snowy is the ice spirit and Nomy is the Earth Spirit.
After finish making contract, he discovered if he feeding the spirit with 10.000 MP, the spirit will grow a bit older. They won't appear as a kid anymore, but a bit older than their current body.
As they grew older, they also gain new skill to help the summoner in a fight. With that in mind, he's starts feeding Dya first at least 500 MP per day.
After contract been made, now he's training something more important. Something that he's should do from the beginning.
He trains his [Detection Skill] since this skill could help him to detect his surrounding as long as the skill active. This skill could be use passively or actively. As the passive one, the detection range will be shorter and sometime inaccurate while consciously activating it could detect further but also gave a signal to detection type monster.
In his precious life, he could use the passive detection that covered 200 meters range from where he's standing. While active detection could cover 1 Km and hid the signal from another monster. But right now, he only capable of detect passively with only covered 20 meters from him.
He's needs to train every night to make the detection skill much better. As for now, 20 meters are good enough.
The night still long, so he spent the night with making learning scroll like healing scroll, offensive scroll, and defensive scroll. After he's done making all sort of scroll, he went to bed and got some rest before the morning come.
