A U R O R A
I wake up with no recognition of the day before, except for it was my birthday yesterday, and something or someone pulled me into a portal. I know it's the next day because the clock in the room I'm placed in says so, my clothes are changed to a big shirt and short.
I look around the room, purple walls, silk nude-colored duvet, a mirror, a closet, and a bathroom.
Wow, what a fancy room. I wonder who brought me here, I stand up and walk to the bathroom.
The bathroom also has luxury like the room, a big bathtub, a shower, a toilet, and tiled walls. I look into the mirror and I see my makeup has been wiped off.
I run to the door when I see shadows of feet, I twist the door handle but it doesn't open. I bang on the door "Hey! Open the door!" I bang harder after five bangs I give up with a sigh.
I'm hungry and tired, I lay on the bed wondering why I have no memory of the day before, it was my eighteenth birthday yesterday so why did I forget wh-- I hear a click and I can to the door, I twist the door handle this time it opens.
I run out the door, I come across a flight of stairs, I follow the stairs but stop when I get to a room.
I stare at the pictures of me on the walls, a huge picture frame of me stood onto of the fireplace, pictures of my birthdays and when I was a kid are on the walls of the room.
Woah, the person is a stalker!
"Beautiful is it not?" I hear a voice by my ear, I face the person, I move back and the stranger frowns.
"W-who are you?" He circles me as a predator does to his prey.
"I bear a lot of names" his voice is a whisper but I still hear him, "But you can call me Xanthus," he says in a deep voice.
"Xanthus," I whisper, I'm not going to get comfortable in the presence of my abductor, "Why am I here? Why don't I remember anything from the day before?, What is this place?, Why are there pictures of me on the wall?" I hate the way he continues circling me but I enjoy it.
"One question at a time little one," he takes a seat, "Your questions will be answered in due time" I can't believe he just waved all my questions off. "Are you hungry? Because I am famished" he stands and walks to what I'm guessing is the kitchen.
"You're not going to answer me?" I follow him, I'm wrong he's not going to the kitchen because before is a dining room full of foods of different kinds and that time my stomach grumble, "I will take it you're hungry" he points out, "Well I haven't eaten since someone abducted me," I smirk at the look of frustration on his face, "It is your lucky day because the cook prepared a lot of delicacies" I eye the foods.
"Dig in. It is not poisoned if that is why you are hesitating," he speaks calmly but I see the frustration in his eyes. I sit, maids come into the room, and serve us, "That's okay" but did they listen to me? Nope, they continue piling up my food.
After my food is filled I don't take a bite instead I watch the food like it will stand and eat me, "Is there a problem?" I snap my eyes to him. "I can't eat it all".
"Eat the little you can, but next time you are going to finish your food" I nod in agreement.
He stares at me till I finish eating, "So, where is this place?" I ask after I finished eating.
"Change your clothes" I ball my fist and glare at him, "If you want answers to your questions you have to change your clothes".
I run back to the room to find a red on the bed, I take a quick shower and come out to wear the cloth. The dress stops just above my knee, I wear the flats that are placed by the side of the bed.
"I'm ready," I say and he nods "Hug me," I stare at him, he pulls me closer "Try not to faint this time" he pulls me into a dark abyss, I close my eyes because the colors I'm seeing are able to damage my eyesight.
"You can open your eyes now" I hear his voice but I refuse to open my eyes, he may be planning a trick on me, "Aurora!" I didn't tell him my name, how did he know my name. I snap my eyes open and see we're in front of the gate and behind those black gates I can see a huge castle.
"Welcome to Dapphion," he says proudly, I gasp and move back. "Dapphion as in the kingdom of demons?" I ask fearfully he nods staring at me as I move back slowly.
"What am I doing here" God, what business do I have with these creatures, what am I even doing in their realm. "When we get inside I'll answer your questions" I laugh sarcastically "I'm not going anywhere with you! That means you're a demon! And I'm in a world full of demons" God, I ate breakfast with a demon, where are my parents? Why can't I remember a thing from the past day?
"Fine! Do you want answers? I will give them to you!" Okay, he's angry, nice going Rory, you angered a demon in a demon world.
"I'm Asmodeus lord of demons, and you Aurora Russel is my QUEEN!" oh God, Queen? I can't be a Queen, especially to Asmodeus a greater demon a demon that is very temperamental, worse Lord of Dapphion. What happened last night?
"You're lying!" I scream and run, bad choice.
I keep on running till I get to the forest I smile to myself because he isn't behind me, in fact, no one is behind me.
"I can see you" I hear a voice the wind carries the words making a sound like a whisper, a shiver runs down my spine.
"You can not hide from me little one"
"You belong to me"
It goes on for about two minutes, I keep on hearing his voice telling me things I refuse to believe.
"They are creatures far worse than me in that forest" tears run down my cheeks, I can't see him but I can hear him, I don't know if it's my imagination or not.
"Better hope I find you before they do" then I hear a chuckle, "would you stop" I cry, I'm not brave like I tell everyone, I'm scared of spiders, of what that is in the dark and being in the realm of Dapphion alone is my biggest fear.
"Shh, my love, do not cry" oh, God, he is crazy, "Don't call me that" I scream, I feel something yank my clothes and I scream, I turn to see it's only a tree branch.
What am I going to do?
How am I going to get out of here?
