It was quiet...eerily quiet , persistent and tense . Only thick that broke through the thick veil of silence was the flipping of pages from different corners of the room . It was so quiet that footsteps sounded like thunder as students walked around from shelf to shelf searching for the book of their choice. It was irritating , not the thunder like footsteps but the prevailing silence. I blew out a lungful of air, reclining further on my seat obviously breaking one of the many library books .ÖBSERVE PROPER SITING POSTURE," Its a lame rule . If you ask me.
