Adam sat there with a mystified expression on his face.
("That really happened…") [Adam]
The incident of both his swords snapping left him perplexed. Thoughts filled his mind of how to combat Typhon, but none of them seemed viable.
"...Adam? Are you okay?" [Arthur]
"Hush. I'm thinking right now." [Adam]
Calmly staring at the bread, a sudden idea came to mind.
"Arthur!" [Adam]
"Wh-what? Wait, how do you know my name-" [Arthur]
"Teach me magic!" [Adam]
Many expressions appeared on Arthur's face. Surprise, fear, and concern.
"Hold on. What's with you right now?" [Arthur]
"Please. I need you to teach me magic. Like how to shoot flames or lightning out of my hands." [Adam]
Arthur raised a finger.
"I said hold on. First of all, magic isn't that easy to learn. Second, those types of spells you mentioned are only possible for people with high amounts of mana." [Arthur]
"No problem." [Adam]
Opening up a hand, Adam summoned a magic sword.
"Wha-?! How?! Ehhh?!" [Arthur]
Arthur's eyes widened, accompanied with a mouth left wide open.
"Do I fit both conditions?" [Adam]
"That shouldn't be possible! I don't sense any mana from you!" [Arthur]
Adam shrugged.
"I'm built different." [Adam]
Arthur brought a hand to his chin. He then sat there as if in a trance.
"Even in theory… something like this can't happen…!" [Arthur]
He then turned to Adam with a slight spark in his eyes.
"Adam! Put away those swords for a moment." [Arthur]
Doing as he said, Adam made the swords vanish.
"Now summon them back." [Arthur]
Adam gave him a questionable look, but he still summoned a magic sword.
"That's… incredible." [Arthur]
He stared at the sword in amazement. However, his expression soon turned to confusion.
"It had a glimpse of mana… but where did it come from?" [Arthur]
"Do you need me to resummon my sword?" [Adam]
"Please do." [Arthur]
Repeating the process, Adam made his magic sword vanish and made it appear once again.
"I see… I see…!" [Arthur]
"What do you see?" [Adam]
"The mana is coming from below your stomach!" [Arthur]
Adam gave him a strange look.
"Of course. That's where my mana organ is." [Adam]
Arthur returned Adam a strange look as well.
"...Those don't exist in humans. Are you a monster by any chance?" [Arthur]
Adam looked all over his body and turned back to Arthur.
"Doesn't look like it." [Adam]
"…" [Arthur]
Arthur wasn't too sure of what to say. He found himself staring very hard at Adam, inspecting every bit with his eyes.
"From my experience with monsters, the mana trail is similar. However, it seemed to be interrupted." [Arthur]
"...You're throwing a lot of terms I don't know at me right now." [Adam]
"Apologies. It's not something someone can understand without extensive research in magic theory." [Arthur]
"Just give me a run down because it sounds like a TLDR moment." [Adam]
That had Arthur stunned for a moment.
"...What's a TLDR?" [Arthur]
"Apologies. It's not something someone can understand without extensive research in being social." [Adam]
Arthur made an unhappy face at that.
"Are you mocking me?" [Arthur]
"Just get back on topic." [Adam]
Arthur cleared his throat.
"In any case, I just need you to let me check your body." [Arthur]
"How so?" [Adam]
"Take off your shirt." [Arthur]
Adam immediately backed away.
"Bro, I don't swing that way." [Adam]
"What? I have no clue what that means." [Arthur]
"It means I'm not into men." [Adam]
That's when things clicked.
"You…! Stop joking around!" [Arthur]
"Fine…" [Adam]
Heeding the original request, Adam removed his shirt.
"Now what?" [Adam]
"Stay still." [Arthur]
Moving over to Adam, Arthur placed a hand on his stomach.
"Fuya de medicis! Heal!" [Arthur]
A dim light centered itself within Adam's stomach, causing him to feel some kind of shifting inside him.
("This feels so weird.") [Adam]
Seconds later, the light dissipated.
"Okay, now try using magic." [Arthur]
"Kay." [Adam]
Raising his hand, Adam began to form a magic sword.
"Huh?" [Adam]
The moment the sword formed, Adam's eyes widened.
"What's this?!" [Adam]
The sword came out looking like his soul weapon, Krino.
"Huh? Where the hell am I?!" [Krino]
