Chapter 48 - Stealing a track

"Not a clue." Non-comitaly said the succubus matriarch body slamming herself into a demon's anus.

"That bastart probably had some notes on it, but i burned them. Doubt they'd be good though, still can't believe his name's translation was so fitting." Shrugged Tianyi as Aki interrupted her second date with Mark and paid her back with wine for the both of them.

"He is the god of tirany, why the fuck would he know about that kind of thing?" Questioned the tortured pure-blood vampire in the basement.

"Look, you were literally the last person i had to ask!" Exclaimed her captor before groaning and putting his hands on his face in defeat. Then suddenly he had an idea. "New plan, what do you know about that country that has human supremacism?" He asked, several spells coming to flourish.

If you wanted to find forbidden knowledge no one else bothered to preserve, who better than cultists and a distopian government to know all about it!?

After around a week of satisfying a pregnant wife, a wife dealing with her embarrassing family and a jealous wife, Aki had finally maxed out both jobs he currently had.

While that might sound like a week full of sex, and there was plenty of it, he actually got points for being a caring and supportive husband. Granted there were only four levels to max, but it still counted, right?

Selecting 'Spy' and 'Invader', Aki checked the vampire's mind for a teleportation location near the enemy capital and quickly found what he wanted.

Seeing as his objective wasn't exactly to be stealthy, he didn't actually bother trying to hide much more than his identity, which was easily done by concealing his face with a featureless mask, reducing his height by a few centimeters, and temporarily becoming a female.

Even if people could find a record of his magical signature, there wasn't a full one anywhere, no one would think he'd been the one directly present there.

When the flying guard came, all they could see was a black blur in the shape of a woman before several mana bullets caved in the armor of all wyverns, plunging all but the captain to certain death as they fell from hundreds of meters in a dangerous forest environment.

No one saw the most basic of spells being fired, and if they did, they'd not have expected such impact on the enchanted armor of their rides.

Teleporting the surviving military into his grasp, Aki clutched the man's skull, already starting to read his mind for information on important areas.

While he didn't know everything he wanted to know, there were plenty of people in his memory that would know, and it took barely a moment more to get there. This didn't mean it was easy, quite opposite really.

To make a trip a couple hundred kilometers harder than one worth thousands of kilometers was impressive, but still easy for someone with a recently maxed out space magic skill.

Seeing a there were many a ghost right outside the barrier of the royal castle, Aki decided to break the thing. As a distraction, nothing to do with his own disgust for the place.

Seeing as his idea caused a huge sound of glass breaking sound all over the place, he figured people were going to notice what he'd done soon enough.

Leaving the dried corpse of the captain at the base of the battered barrier enchantments, the boisterous spy calmly walked through the walls as he used the chance to materialise every ghost rushing in, allowing others to see the great amount of disfigured people perpetually screaming because of the horrendous wounds on their bodies, more coming from far away as they heard the general call of arms, their original targets still being protected were eventually forgotten as hundreds of thousands of ghosts came rushing to kill those in the royal castle.

None saw the disappearance of every book and jewelry in the royal archives, royal bedrooms, royal crafting rooms, royal secret chambers and of the various offices around.

The royal pantry was also robbed clean, but that's another thing.

It was only by the time that Aki tried walking into the treasure room that someone actually came to stop him.

As he held the old man full of scars and the blonde young man afloat with magic even as they tried to resist, he came to realize that only those with a certain key would be able to open the treasury door.

"Whoever made this enchantment seem to have put everything on intelligence and forgot to invest into wisdom." Murmured Aki in his currently feminine body, walking a bit to the side and bringing the old man closer before starting to rotate him in the air and throwing him through the wall head first, breaking the enchanted walls.

The general was quickly made unconscious with such treatment, and would die from head trauma if not healed, but it wasn't like he'd be allowed to now that he was a captive, both his experience and knowledge invaluable.

"I don't know what your plan is vile wrench, but my father will not allow you to leave alive." Hatefully spat the second prince.

"Pray tell, how would he?" Asked the mirth full young woman.

"Have you never heard of the sword emperor peasant? Your fate will be worse than I thought." He scowled.

"That's his title? Ok. I don't really see how you'd think me a peasant, but your tiny incel brain can probably not understand such complex things. Now, let's see what kind of treasures you guys threw in here. Cursed sword, cursed sword, dragon horn, sealed djiin, book with a sealed evil god, old cursed sword, divine sword?, Piles of orichalcum, oh, sealed pieces of the demon king!" Exclaimed the high pitched voice as she threw anything that wasn't money into her inventory, most storage items unable to contain the actually interesting items around.

The prince on the other hand was flabbergasted. He didn't know what 'incel' ment, but he was damn sure no one knew what those items were, nor were they storable, otherwise the emperor himself would be carrying them around.

"... More like the glory of gay skull, a useful shield, suspicious pile of..." As Aki looked back to the prince, he noticed that he was also quite flabbergasted by the bikini and leotard armor on those crates and just stored them for research later. Even he wasn't eccentric enough to use or give out such thing.

Suddenly the building shook, a middle aged man slashing at where he'd been moments ago.

The thief was more than happy enough to have disappeared right there though, his inventory almost full. Teleporting several times in a row, he giggled as the man cut space to reach him, his prisoners in his arms.

"It's useless." The deep voice of his pursuer said as they flew though several portals in random places.

"Yes you are." He rebuted, space suddenly closing in on the swordman and resisting several of his strikes as he was slowly teleported to the bottom of the ocean. "Damn does it feel good to be able to do that." He smiled, not for a second thinking this capable of killing the man.

Shoving his new prisoners into the same cell as the vampire, Aki noted that he'd accrued more than enough XP to get both jobs capped and some more despite the ease provided by his magical might.

Having reached such heights in his magic, he noticed plenty of his skills were actually capped and that he had no idea as to how to actually progress them.

Or so he'd like to say, but his skills allowed him to have pretty good appraisal results, his family told him about it every morning and his few friends were flabbergasted at him for it.

Even if others agreed that it was best to go the roundabout way on selecting jobs, no one would have simply ignored their supposed 'main line' for so long.

Aki did so because of two reasons. The mage line of effects gives out several small bonuses that sinergise with others, making it very important to advance, but what most people don't know is that they also give a multiplier to all the magic related skill XP you have instead of adding more to it, translating to great bonuses in evolving skills, so it made sense to save it a bit.

The second reason was that Aki thought it cool to be able to brag while not following the main stream mage job. His little reincarnated friend also thought so actually, and decided to use such jobs as a way to break through for important events or the like. It wasn't like either lacked jobs offering growth options though.

Without much more to take his time, he sighed and changed jobs to Wizard, immediately maxing it and unlocking both 'Magister' (Creation mage) and 'Arch-magus' (Destruction mage).

This, in turn, made all his capped magic skills evolve.

And surprisingly enough, both jobs were immediately capped. Aki had no idea why at first, since he definitely didn't have enough stored XP to max one of them, nevermind both.

Both bars said 1B/1B, but his reserves were clearly still not empty even though his crafting, casting, studying, combat and killing XP would not have been able to do the task even if bottomed out.

It could only have been something coming from an deffered achievement, but what kind of thing would need these...

"My spell creation?" Mused Aki.

While technically not his proudest achievement, his ease at writing programs in 'spell language' was actually considered ridiculous, so he had hundreds of miscelaneous spells on his repertoire, most something to automatically dismantle specific races of monsters, even more to harvest species he'd killed personally, plus some joke spells that could even pass as instagram filters. These were likely what had gotten Magister to max, plus the fact he actually published all those spells. Why no one had actually thought of doing exactly that was beyond him though.

Arch-magus on the other hand had clearly benefitted from his 'siege grade spells'. His spatial compression with several light augmenting parts was something that was understandable, people wouldn't think of writting specific ways to do something like that when most understood so little about light and space, but since Aki had reached a level where spells were more like 'buttons', it was well worth it to him. The meteor line, paralizing swamp, dead flame desert, labirinth of fears, song of genesis and such were more 'normal' by large scale spells' standard, but each one of those was made by diferent people to begin with, so even if similar, they were still new spells.

"Maybe i should rush those spells on simple enchanting etching?" He pondered while walking away. While such spells were not something that everyone would be able to use, average enchanters could save time and materials to make several spacial artifacts in a day instead of during a week, advancing their system in... *Smack smack* Slapping both the general and the prince awake with a heavy hand and a healing spell, Aki asked in all seriousness. "Does your country have a spell to manufacture enchatments?"

Some confusion on who he was later, he found out that yes, they did. The several enchantments of their cell made their unwiliness to speak or lies completly irrelevant as both spilled out word for word what they remenbered of the day they learned about such thing and any further instance of aditional knowledge.

How such discriminatory society worked was as simple as that. Not even the gods would be able to learn of such spell if these people ussing it couldn't remenber it when interrogated. Aki's enchantments shielded them of any such problems and made them speak non-stop. A part of him wanted to just let all this information to the god of justice, wash his hands right about now.

That'd not be good enough.

Selecting 'Territory planer' and 'Territory dessigner', he teleported into his office, scarring his in laws.

"Great timing you all, I'm bringing foward the project shinning moons, which means everyone has their work cut out for them. I'll be needing one of the tall ladies to march five operative units through a good dungeon until they have capped a couple of jobs each at the very least, then i need someone to get several sets of furniture and tools ready, enough for at least a thousand households, tell the craftsman they will be flooded with requests soon, and someone call that crazy nympho with a green thumb, then get that old man who loves gold and tell him i have a job with triple the salary that just opened up..." He ordered, completly focused on several drawings and maps he took out of nowhere and started to modify, clearly not registering the surprised man and women all scathering and calling over several demonic clerks as one couple roused the other run.

Being Aki's assistant was bassically impossible for normal people, they'd just collapse by trying to follow the several orders or from trying to copy the multy armed stile of doing things if possible and screw other things up. Having a superhuman constitution didn't make it anymore fun though.

According to the stories, he was somehow worse than his mother at this.
