Chloe held her measly blanket tightly. She was shivering badly but dare not utter a word. She felt his coarse hands touching her face. Sharp odour of alcohol wafted near her nose. She felt puke coming out of her mouth but she controlled herself and willed inside to not move a single muscle. She imagined Callum's face and tried to calm her heart. But suddenly his hands were on her inner thighs. She removed his hands sharply and moved a few distance from him.
His ugly laughter rang out " you want to run and play hide and seek baby girl, come let uncle Shaine catch you". A scream released from within her. She dashed out , her mind screaming to do something. An electric surge ran within her, and without her knowing Shaine was stopped from progressing, a thick branch entangled on his feet. Cursing he pulled out a thick knife and started cutting it.
Few hours back he had a fight with his wife and she apparently left him. In his anger, he had few drinks over a whiff of cocaine. His mind was hazy and he didn't realise where this branch came from. He kept following her, her tiny feet made some sounds which showed her position. She hid behind the staircase and tears were streaming on her face. She didn't know much about bad touches and all important awareness that was given to children these days as she didn't go to school and everything was taught by Callum to her.
But right now Shaine was scaring her from within her core and her only instinct was to hide. Suddenly a hand covered her from behind she screamed and her hands held a small vase that she picked while running and threw it at him. Shaine screamed as blood came pouring out of his forehead. He screamed " you bitch " and ran for her, his fist raised ready to hit her. Chloe did only thing she could do, she screamed.
He eyes were closed , electricity was running all over her and she just screamed. Without her knowing plants started to creep inside the house and covering every surface within the hall. Shaine became confused, in his hazy mind he thought he was hallucinating as all these plants surrounded him. He felt a thick branch covering his neck and slowly his feet left the floor. He screamed in terror, his hand scratching his throat, breath was getting difficult to take and slowly darkness creeped on him .While Chloe's eyes were closed as she didn't see her uncle being hanged in front of her. Just than a sound of car came outside the house and Chloe opened her eyes to see gruesome corpse of her uncle was hanging there.
