Lucas's POV
There she was, my mate for the first time in weeks I was seeing her. She had cut and bruises all over her beautiful body.
"Looks like you found her" Diesel the leader of this whole thing sneered. "Get off of her" I snarled. I could of attacked him but my hope to separate put some space in between the two of there naked body before Drake took over.
That sick bitch stared me in the eyes and smirked before he wrapped his hand around her neck. Before he could blink Drake took over making me shift. As I knocked him off of her he shifted as well.
His wolf was large, just a little smaller then me. It was a basic grey color with some white and black on it.
I saw Evie scramble to cover herself up with the blanket. I turned my attention back to the wolf in front of me. He lunged for me but I managed to duck out of the attack.
Went for his neck just wanting this all to be over but he moved out of the way. I did however manage to bite down on his shoulder. He let out a low growl and ripped his shoulder from my grasp.
He than tried to attack me again I dodged the brunt of the blow but he scratched my side. I saw something like a smirk play on his wolf face. I took a quick glance behind me and saw Evie in her wolf for attack what looked to be a witch.
I tried to go help he but Diesel jumped onto my back. I threw his fat self off of me and looked back over at Evie I saw Jamie come over and I knew that she would be ok.
I turned my full attention back to the task at hand, betting the shit out of the wolf in front of me. I let out a low growl tell his to submit. He only lunged at me agin.
This app time though instead of ducking l ppl out of the way I met him half way. We where both on our hind legs going at it. We where both bit anything that we could, and scratched whatever we could touch.
I got a few good hits but so did he. We broke apart for a second staring one another down. I was about to attack him when my lovely mate beat me to it.
She jumped on to his back and bit down on his shoulder that I already attacked. He let out a surprised and pain filled Yelp. I looked at her in surprise before getting back to the matter at hand.
He threw her off of his back and into a wall leaving a large hole in it. All I saw was red. I launched myself at him. I tackled him to the ground holding his neck in my mouth.
I didn't want my mate to see me killing some one so I held off even though my wolf was begging me to kill him. I held Hume by his neck until he submitted to me. I had to bite down on him but it wasn't enough to kill him.
He finally submitted to me after a while. I stepped of if him and headed straight to my mate. I started checking for injuries. I pressed my nose into her fur to find out what was hurting her.
I touched a spot on her back and she let out a soft whine. I pulled back and looked at her. Her eyes where closed but I could tell she was in a lot of pain.
I continued to look over her injuries. She had many injuries in it saddened me and my wolf deeply. I saw her open her eyes and I looked into her eye once again and felt calmness wash over me.
I was lost in her grey eyes that I missed so much. It was like I was in the middle of the ocean with no land in sight but I never wanted to leave. I would stay there for all of eternity.
But for some reason my ocean just moved. There was a yelp somewhere out in the distance. Then the grey water turned red. It became thicker and warm.
Red water, why is it warm wait. I shock my head, And looked down. That fucking rouges tried to attack me and Evie got in her way. My mate just took a hit for me.
All I saw was red. One moment Diesel was smirking at what he did to my mate and now he's lifeless on the floor. I should've killed his when I had the chance. The only thing that I regret is not making him suffer.
I herd a thud behind me and spun around to she that Evie collapsed on the floor. Blood was rushing out of her so fast. I shift back and threw on a random pair of shorts.
"Shit shit shit shit" I mumbled running over to her. "Omg Evie why would you do that, Fuck there's so much blood" I said.
I looked around and saw the wizard on the ground dead and Jamie looking pretty beat up. "Don't worry about me I'll be fine help her" he told me clutching his side where you could see blood flowing out.
"Ok Evie I need you to hold on for me please" I said to her as I picked her up. I started to run back to where all the vans where parked. As I was running I saw that we had won and we only suffered some injuries.
"Hold on Evie where almost there" I whispered into her ear. I ripped the door of the van open before gently placing her on the cool metal table.
She let out a small whimper and Drake begged me to hold her again but I needed this doctor to save her life.
The doctor rushed over to take a looks before she turn to me and said "Alpha she lossing to much blood i'm going to have to force a shift so that I can stop all of the blood".
She injected her with something to make her shift back. I herd her bones popping and crack and the there she was. Her stomach was missing a very large chunk.
I grabbed her small cold hand a gave it a little squeeze before saying "I missed you so much angle". I saw her eyes crack open.
She looked me right and the eyes and said "I love you, and I'm so happy that your my mate". Then her eyes shut and she was gone. "SOME ONE FUCKING DO SOMETHING" I yelled.
Drake was whimpering and I wanted to as well but I had to stay strong for her. I saw the doctor and the nurse rush out and some one started driving the van.
'Thorn we got her back but she's in critical condition right now. Where driving back right now I need you to make sure everyone is ok and help Jamie. He's in the basement and seems to be hurt pretty bad" I mind-linked him.
"Ok Alpha and congrats on getting her back." He replied. "Be careful and if there are any living rouges bring them back to the cellars" I told him. He replied with a "yes Alpha" before we both blocked each other out.
I focused back on my mate. They attached a ton of tubes to her and an oxygen mask. She was cold and pale even more so then usual.
We soon arrived back in my territory. When we pulled up to the pack hospital they rushed her in on a stretcher. I tried to follow behind them but I was stoped by a nurse.
I let out a furious growl telling her. She flinched but stayed put."Alpha you need to stay here. I know she's you mate but she is going into surgery. You being there should just slow them down" she told me.
I was angry but I knew she was right so I backed off. I went to the waiting room and started pacing. Drake just whinnied wanting to help his mate right now.
After about three hours of pacing one of the nurses finally came up to me. "Alpha she's out of surgery and in a room right now" she told me.
"Then take me to her" I growled. I know that it was rude but all I care about right now was my mate. "Right follow me Alpha" she told me walking off.
She stoped outside of the alpha suite. Whenever the Alpha or Alpha female is hurt we get that room.

The room was mostly brown and black. There was the main room and then a connected waiting room that had a couch that pulled out into a bed. There was also a bathroom attached.
I rush into the room only to freeze on the spot. My poor little mate. She was laying on the bed hooked up to all sorts of tubs and wires. There where tubs breathing for her and a really annoying beeping machine witch I'm guessing is her heart monitor.
I herd a knock on the door and turned to see Dr. Mike. He was standing in the door way in a white lab coat and a clipboard.
"What's wrong with her" I asked the the doctor. "Well we can start with the obvious. When she got attacked hit bit through multiple major arteries. We managed to stitch them all up. It also appears that we have stopped all of the internal bleeding" he replied.
"If you stopped it then why is she not awake" I growled at him. "Well Alpha the whole time she was gone it seems to be that she was beaten everyday" he continued.
"What the hell does that mean" i growled out, Drake taking over. "We will she wake up" Drake asked still in control of my body. "We don't know Alpha for all we know she may not wake up" he said dropping his head feeling the pain of loosing his Luna.
"WHAT THE HELL YOU SAID THAT YOU HEALED HER" I roared. "Alpha there is nothing else that we could do. It's up to her if she wants to wake up. I'm going to leave to her" he calmly stated.
He gave me a curt nod the left the room. Drake gave me control again before vanishing to the back of my
mind. I walked over to Evie and sat down next to her.
I gently grabbed her small cold hands in mine before speaking softly. "Please come back to me. I know I failed you as a mate but, The pack needs you, I need you. I promise I won't let anyone hurt you agin just please wake up because I... I love you". By the end I was sobbing into her hands. She needs to wake up soon I don't know who long I can live without her.
