Chapter 3 - Chapter 2

Leigh Risha Hawthorn's POV.

A wide smile engraved on my lips as I peeked out the window of the van we were riding in. "Its summer and oh! It's summer ~" All the vehicles we passed were distracted by us because of my loud singing.

Who wouldn't be happy if it was a vacation? It means no homework, no classes and no every school works! It's heaven, you know?

"Mom, please stop sister Leigh from shouting. I can no longer hear what I am watching on YouTube, eh," complained my younger brother sitting next to me.

"Let her be, Ray. She's always like that anyway." Daddy laughed out loud which made even more noise inside the car we were riding in.

With a sigh, Ray looked back at the tablet he was holding.

Instead of being annoyed by what my brother said, I smiled even more. "What kind of noise are you saying, Ray? I am singing and I am not shouting!" I laughed out loud at my brother's forehead.

Hala! Didn't he understand my reasoning? I should have explained it to him better. I turned my gaze back out of the van and felt the wind slapping my face. Just a few minutes later, our van stopped in front of a bungalow. A low white house with a broad front porch having either no upper floor or upper rooms set in the roof, typically with dormer windows. I was so amazed at its appearance that I did not even notice that my younger brother was next to me.

"Sister, before you go inside, wipe your saliva first."

I looked at his behavior and I saw him shuddering inside followed by Mommy and Daddy. I didn't feel very well under my lips and I could feel the water from there. I just rubbed my forehead after wiping the saliva that Ray was saying. Wow! Fortunately, no one is here. Come on, wait. I'm not sure if there is anyone! I looked around and covered my mouth when I saw a man in a wheelchair. He looked at me without blinking. He does not move at all.

Hala! Is he a doll? I observed the entirety of him. He was wearing black pants and a white polo shirt. His two hands rested on the side of the wheelchair. His skin was white as snow. His body is muscular. I just can't describe him very well because he is also a few inches away from me. Behind him was the door of a blue two-storey house.

There is also a small garden next to him. I was also dumbfounded by him for a few minutes and I only returned to the mood when he suddenly blinked, but his face still had no expression. I ran inside the house out of time because of the nervousness I felt.

"Mommy! There's a doll moving in the other house!"

Jyle Aizen Martins POV

I rolled my wheelchair until I could get in Grandpa's direction.

"Aizen, is anything wrong with you?" He turned his gaze to me and temporarily stopped reading the book he was holding.

I gently shook my head. I stared at him without emotion in my eyes and shook softly again. I rolled the wheelchair I was riding in again and headed outside our house.

Since that accident happened, I feel like I am no longer just aromantic asexual now. It seems that my whole being has turned to stone as well. Who wouldn't be like that if that accident ruined my fairytale-like life? I feel like I am a worthless person who does not deserve to live in this world. I am a person who has lost the rest of the body because I can no longer move it. What other sports can I do in this situation? What other gimmick would I be able to get if I always carried my big wheelchair?

I let out a deep sigh as I stared at the house opposite us. What else can my future do if I finally work and I can't do it anymore? I blinked and seemed to realize in a long dream that a black van had stopped in front of the house I was watching. Earlier, a brunette woman with wavy hair up to her shoulder got out of the van. She looked slightly at the bungalow house. Next, there is boy came down from a van who in my estimation was only 16 years old and stood next to the woman. Then, a man and a woman came down from the driver's seat and passenger seat. The boy looked at the woman who had come out earlier and smiled slightly. He whispered on her ears and looked back at the bungalow house and walked towards it. I saw that the woman was very under her lips and frowned.

Wait, is she wiping saliva? Yuck. Is she a dog to spit?

She looked around and stopped her eyes in my direction. Our eyes met temporarily and as a result I was able to examine the whole of her. She was wearing a baduy purple jeans and a purple t-shirt with a bear brand. I wanted to laugh at what I saw, but my brain ordered something different from what I saw. I blinked and the former woman I was looking at became weird. Her eyes widened and she even held her mouth. She took two steps back and then ran into her residence.

"Mommy! There's a doll moving in the other house!" I heard her shouted before she finally disappeared.

"Huh? Doll? Which doll? That woman is weird." Suddenly her face flashed back to my mind. "I think I've seen her before."
