Leigh Risha Hawthorn's POV.
I hide behind Daddy and stole another look at the male doll in a wheelchair. What is his name again? Jyle Aizen Martins? I let out a weak laugh remembering the story on the story site I read. His name. Couldn't he really be the character I read on that site and he came out of the book? Gosh! This can't be! I haven't finished reading it yet so he can't leave the book yet.
Out of fear I moved away from my Daddy I had been hiding before and looked at Aizen. I approached him and calmly stared at him with his chocolate hazzle brown eyes. He also stared at me back with a confused look.
"Aizen, listen. Don't worry about the course of your story because your story was not written by a tragic writer. So please, go back to the book."
Aizen stared at me. He did not say anything and just turned to his Grandfather who seemed to be asking for help. It looks like he already has diarrhea or something. Do I look scary? Because of the expression on his face and I couldn't stop myself from turning to his Grandfather.
His Grandfather smiled at me and then turned to look at Daddy. "Richardo, come on. I have prepared some hot tea. Let's have a drink while having a good time in my office."
"Sure. I'll leave you here first, Risha." Daddy turned to me and smiled at me before following Grandpa.
"Wait, Daddy! Don't make me-" I didn't finish what I wanted to say because they were completely out of my sight.
When I looked at the man again, he looked at me like a doll without blinking. Why he is staring that way? Do I have dirt on my face? Does it offend him? I did nothing wrong to him ah!
I hesitated to smile at him and walked two steps closer to him. "Hello. I'm sorry if I made a mistake-"
"Your clothes that is wearing is really hurting my eyes."
The smile disappeared from my lips and I stopped speaking when I heard what he said. Is this man really like this? Wow! He is annoying! But, I will not give up. It was really my fault at first. Tss.
I smiled at him again and walked two steps closer to him. "Ah, is that so? Hahaha. How did you say that?"
He stared at me again and his face was really expressionless as he looked at me. What is this person's real problem? I would have spoken again, but Daddy and this man's Grandpa have arrived. They both approached me.
Grandpa smiled at me. "Hija, I would like to have you do something if it's okay."
I was stunned by what he said. I looked at the man in the wheelchair and I looked at Grandpa again. "Hala! I didn't really mean to mistake him for a doll. Don't punish me anymore." I bent down and shyly looked at the floor.
Shock I forgot to wear sandals for my foot. I kept their floor dirty. I raised my head as Daddy touched my hair and messed it up. I think he is jealous of my beautiful hair.
"Risha, Mr Martins wants you to draw something for him. Come with him to his office." Daddy smiled at me.
I wondered pointing at myself. "Me? Why aren't you Daddy?" I asked him.
"Just. Just go with him, daughter." I watched Daddy still smile at me to this day. He really does not look foolish.
So, I was convinced he was really serious to what he have said. He really wanted me to suffer for my sin and give it to me this year. I nodded to Daddy and frowned following Grandpa. We went up to the second floor and stopped at the far end of the hallway. We entered the room with a small desk and two office chairs. He sat on one and I sat on the other.
"Your name is Leigh Risha, isn't it?" smiling, he asked me.
I was embarrassed to nod to him.
"I apologize to my grandson Jyle Aizen if he was rude to you after your Daddy and I left."
I was stunned by what he said. How did he know that? Does he have side kick power? It looks like Grandpa read my mind again so he gave me a smile.
He looked in the other direction and then continued his speech earlier. "Honestly, he was not like that before. Aizen is a kind person and he is helpful to his neighbor. He is also good and you can always count on everything but all of that disappeared when he had an accident. His personality changed a lot because of what had happened. " Grandpa looked at me and smiled sadly.
"Hala! He is unfortunate. How did the accident change his personality? Did the accident talk to him?"
The sadness in Grandpa's eyes slightly disappeared because of what I said. Why is it?
"Your father is a good friend of mine and I wish you would visit here always so that Aizen can have someone to talk to. I want to see his smiles again. Can you accept my request?" Grandpa stared at me, but I still couldn't look back.
I still process in my mind everything he said. There is a reason why that man became like that. An accident. . . I suddenly remembered the accident I saw two months ago. Until now and I am still preparing myself. I think that one day the person who had the accident will actually pick me up so I can go with him. Also, I still have a mission in the world so I can't go with him yet.
I looked at Grandpa and nodded at him. "I agree."
He smiled broadly because of my answer but after a few seconds, my eyes widened as I remembered something.
Where are we going to talk about what he wants me to draw?
