Chapter 28 - Chapter 28

It does hurt a little to find out your parents are after your blood, but once you understand that this godly family is a little like the Greeks, you understand a little more. These gods and goddesses all had separate parents aside from a select few.

Samuel has one sister and one brother. Rachel is his sister, and Mic is his brother, but they do not hold as much power as Samuel, Waverley, and Finn. Liliane is a sister to Hartwell, which is understandable. I would love to hear how wars went with those two fighting together.

"Why would parents declare war by attacking the children of the gods and goddesses," Aili muttered.

I shrugged, "Maybe it's along the same lines of why my father would attack you," I answered. "Not liking the way that the gods are living or their children," I added.

"But your father directly attacked us. These people attacked in South America," she said. "Why don't go after the target and solve the problem right then and there," she asked, and I shrugged once more.

"Do you think they want to ruin a piece of land with another war," I asked, "another war between the gods and their parents would strike World War Three? With the way that this year is going, we don't need that," I said, and she nodded. "What do you think about the suggestion of going to their demigod camp for now. Learn how to fight and warn them of the war," I asked, this time. It was her turn to shrug.

"I'm fine with that, but how will we be housed? Will it be like that Greek series or the branch off of it with the Romans," she asked, and I shrugged. "We know both of our parents," she added.

I nodded, "That we do but remember the Oracle for the Greeks is also mortal," I said

"So, we're going to live in a cave," she asked wide-eyed

"I don't know. They might have something a little more extravagant for future Kings and Queens," I answered with a shrug. "But we'll stay with each other, I promise," I added, pulling her into a hug

We were just outside of the throne room discussing our decision since we were asked whether or not we wanted to train at the camp or train at home. We both had agreed that we didn't want to pay for any damages to the home. We were going to the camp.

"You do look stunning in that toga," Aili said before we walked back in

"Would you believe me when I told you that my heart skipped a beat when I first saw you in that toga," I asked her, and she blushed

"I little but not completely," she answered

"Well, it did because you are more beautiful than I am," I said before opening the door and ducking in before she had a chance to argue.

"I beg to differ," Aili called out as we approached the middle of the throne room. "Mic," she began. "Can you finish this argument? Who's more beautiful, Liz or me? Liz keeps saying that I'm more beautiful than her, but I say no," she asked the love and beauty god, who only chuckled.

"I am a biased god to answer this. I would say that you're both have equal amounts of beauty since I'm the one who initiated the makeovers for the both of you," he said as Aili groaned.

"Well, is there anyone who isn't biased that is willing to weigh in on this," she asked, and Win's hand shot up. "You'd better give us an answer instead of making us drunk," I said as the goddess chuckled.

"And have my body controlled by orders," she began, "I think not. I'd agree with Mic and say that you're both just as beautiful as each other," she said as Liliane smiled. "You got something to say, wisdom goddess," Win asked.

"Actually, yes I do," she said, "I'd say that Liz is only a little more beautiful. I see how she can pick out the right clothing and plan a whole day's schedule without breaking a sweat and ruining any makeup. She doesn't need makeup, but it makes her even more beautiful when she is wearing it with a gown," she finished snapping her fingers. I saw myself in a seventeenth-century ball gown, which made Aili's jaw drop.

"Thank you," she exclaimed as I groaned at the corset, and Mariam chuckled

"I'd say that Aili is more beautiful since she even looks good during a breakdown and a blackout. She added more of pizazz while wearing a gown, maybe because she's more comfortable wearing one," the Queen said with a snap of her finger Aili was in an elegant Queen gown which made my jaw drop

"Thank you, milady," I said as Samuel sighed

"If you're going to dress her in a Queen's gown, then Liz should be dressed in a King's outfit," he said and snapped his fingers. "I'd side with Liliane and Aili and say that she's more beautiful, especially since every man and woman have been checking her out since she got those curves. She even had Aili crushing on her before Aili was straight. Even before this project began," he explained as I saw myself wearing a purple gown with gold at each seam and a sword at my hip. "Was not trying to go for weapons. I'm guessing that is what's going to distinguish the King from the Queen with these two."

I groaned as I felt the corset a little tighter, "Are you guys done," I asked, "this corset hurts, and I never was one for dresses."

"Why don't we do a vote," Aili suggested as she glided to me

"Yes," Mic began, "let's vote. I do think you both look stunning in that but let me get you into the more comfortable wear for this time."

With a snap of his fingers, I looked down and saw myself in a fitting prom dress with jewelry on my wrists, fingers, ears, and around my neck. I felt a sheath on my leg and figured that there was a dagger there. I also figure that every bit of jewelry can change into a weapon. The dress itself was a royal sparkling purple with a tarnished gold tying at the waist.

When I looked over at Aili, I could've sworn my heart skipped three beats this time. She was in a light blue sparkling prom dress with a tarnished silver tie and the same amount of silver jewelry as I have gold.

"Okay, so who thinks Liz is more beautiful," Samuel asked, and three, including him and Win, raised their hands. "Okay, if Aili is more beautiful than Liz," he asked, and two out of the remaining ten raised their hands. "Equally beautiful," he finally asked, and the remaining eight, along with Sam and her wife, raised their hands.

Sam approached us both, "The both of you are just as beautiful as your relationship is," she began. "I am proud to guard your relationship. Both Shanda and I are glad to know that there are couples such as you in the LGBT community."

When she said this, I smiled, "Thank you," I said with a small nod of my head. I then turned to Samuel, "My lord," I began, "Aili and I made a decision."

He nodded, "What may that decision be," he asked us as Aili approached me and held my hand.

"We would like to go to the camp," I answered as they all looked at each other in shock. "We don't mean any offense with Sam and how her training maybe, but we don't want to damage the house or the dorm that we'd be living in."

Both Sam and Samuel nodded, "then so be it," he said, "Liliane, will you please explain the plan to them?"

The goddess of wisdom nodded, "You two will be teleported into a high school in Ohio where a monster will attack. Two of the campers will pick you up and take you to the camp, where you will be claimed by one of the people in this room, each with a different parent. Your claiming will be similar to those of the Greek claiming, but a little different for you two will have the insignia of King and Queen. You will be honest when they ask you which parents you have or don't have, but you will have to act surprised by the monster attack and everything up until the claiming. There you can explain everything along with what you already knew and about the war," she explained as Aili, and I listened. "Is that good," she asked, and we both nodded.

"One question," I began, "everyone will know our looks and our names from our popularity. Will we have looks and name changes?"

Liliane nodded, "Yes, you both will. The different names will be on your wrists for this as well. Your names are going to be Riane K Nair," she began pointing to me. "And Vanny M Sarno," she finished pointing towards Aili.

"Okay," Aili said with a nod, "when do we start?"

Right then, our clothes changed, "As a matter of fact," Mic began, "right now."
