Julien started studying the body's past memories. He had found out that the ruins that the kids parents died in, is the same ruins that Chen Linjian later will explore with Nie Li.
"It's a good thing that his parents always tells him the stories about the ruin. Now I basically have the general idea where the location is. This trip will probably take me a couple of weeks to get back." (Julien)
He started on his journey towards the ancestral mountains. He put together some demon beast hide to act as clothing. It was a little itchy especially on the groin area so he went commando and just let it hang.
"I'm not going to have yeast infection or freaking rash down there. I need to invent soap using herbs and animal plant later." (Julien)
He collected rope vines and some alchemy herbs while on his journey. Everything went to his inventory. At night, he stopped near a river. Which was full of demon beast. From predator and prey, they all are in a ceasefire when on the river since it is a source of water and food.
He knows that he can't just hunt here. If he breaks the law placed by the demon beast in the river and started hunting, he will be attacked by their combined forces. He's not that stupid. So he just located a tree and climbed it and went to sleep.
In the morning, he started his trip again. He also collected a large amount of fresh river water and luckily while collecting the water, a good amount of river fish was also collected. His luck was looking good. He also set up traps away from the river, in which he got some bronze rank sheep and some boars. He dissected it and made sure to keep the gall bladders with urine in it. He's saving the scent for when he arrives at the ruin to make it possible to sneak in the ruins without alerting the gorillas.
After a week of travelling, he finally arrived at the ruin. His military training kicked in. He started weaving all the plant vines and animal intestine to make a makeshift mesh to hold grass and plants nearby. He learned this technique when he is in sniper school. He needed to blend in the environment and that means, no exposed skin. He put mud on any spaces without grass and also slashed urine all over his body to take out the human scent.
He crouched down and move a few inches of a time towards the ruin. He knows thus might take a whole day or two. He knows he is no match in numbers, so extra caution is exercised.

"Sniff...snifff" (Some random silver rank gorilla)
Some demon beast started smelling a bush. The scent was from boar urine which pissed of some territorial gorilla. So the demon beast started peeing on the bush to mark it's territory.
The bush was actually Julien. He wanted the pee so he can get even closer to the ruin without being discovered. He was moving inch by inch slowly.
It was nighttime when he arrived at the entrance. He searched all night for a way in, and he found it before dawn breaks in. He used the vine rope to propel himself down to the ruin. It was dark, so he started to rub the sticks together for almost an hour to create fire. He got some tree trunks to act as a torch and he coated some animal fats. Its more of a candle than a torch.
He moved slowly and manage to set off the traps at a distance. He then come across an area with a lot of bodies lying around.
"Finally!, I have clothes. He found a tub big enough for him to take a bath in. He used his homemade soap to clean himself. While he was taking a bath, he also was doing the laundry. The clothes he have taken from the bodies. Some are still good. They were preserved very well in their storage rings. He also took some gold and jewelry from them.
After the bath, he cooked the fish and have his lunch right there. Afterwards, he made his way towards the coffin were a piece of the emperor kong's temporal book is hidden. He was attacked by a great amount of spiritual energies. He filtered the pressure to his inventory to prevent backslash. His cultivation went from 1 star silver rank to 5 star silver rank, when the pressure stopped. He then put the page of the temporal book in his inventory. He also kept the necklace that makes cultivation faster.
He then continued exploring the ruin while avoiding traps.
By the second day in the ruin, he finally arrived at the treasury.
"Finally! I'm rich! Ah there's the shadow beast lamp. I can't take it in for now, since the cultivation of the old Chen Yue is sh*tty as f***. I need a better cultivation." (Julien)
So he started to put every piece of treasure,scrolls and storage rings in his inventory. He will review it when he gets away from the ruin.
He now have plenty of weapons like swords and staffs. He also have some bow and arrows. He is gonna make a run for it once he exits the ruin. He will wait in the middle of the night and dash out towards Glory city.
Around midnight, he stretched near the entrance of the building he is in. He can see he is right smack in the middle of the flock. There was a full moon, so he can see thoroughly the safest route.
He waited until most gorilla demon beast are asleep. He got his route, he got his weapon ready. He took a few deep breaths.
"Time to get some whoopass.... Haaaa---..." (Julien)
He quietly screamed while he made a mad dash towards the exit of the ruins. Some demon beast gorillas woke up and alerted the others and started chasing him.
He didn't look back and just kept running. He know that if he stops, then it's game over. He hears a lot of roars behind him. Chasing him.
It was already been hours and he can still hear the roars behind him. He was still being chased. It was his scent. They memorized his scent already. He needed to make it into the river and erase his scent to prevent them from tracking him. He was so tired but still run for dear life. He use the energies in his inventory to prevent him from total exhaustion. He was having muscle pains from an all night running.
"Damn beast! When are you guys gonna quit hunting me!" (Julien)

He arrived near the river, then he jumped in it and started swimming to get to the other side. It will probably take him half an hour to make it to the other end. Its like the Han river in South Korea. Once he was in the river, the gorilla demon beast stopped chasing him and they just roared in anger. They decided to stay there wishing that he comes back to their side so they could kill him.
"F**kers. Finally got away from those annoying monkeys. Now hopefully, there are no crocodiles or river monsters attacking me until i get to the other side." (Julien)
Luckily for him it was uneventful. By nighttime he made camp on top of a big tree. He checked the fruit of his labors. He took a look at the scrolls. But he can't decipher it. It was all written in some old language. He wanted to find a cultivation technique, so he can start strengthening himself. And also merge with the shadow beast. He checked the storage rings and found alchemy pills perfectly preserved. But he can't tell which ones which. There is no description.
"That's f**ked up.... I wish I asked god for a system that can identify anything. For all I know, some pill might be viagra or hair remover. Or worst, diarrhea pills. I need to study alchemy later in the alchemy association." (Julien)
He made plans for the future. His main goal is to enjoy his life while being the greatest thief.
After a week of travel, he finally arrived at the gate of Glory City. He hunted plenty of demon beast. He will just sell the hides and beast cores, but keep all the meats.
Then something don to him. He is still a 10 year old boy in this life. And doesn't have an identity. So he decided to go to the orphanage and get himself registered. He has a different face from before, so he can't enter the divine family. In which he lived before.

A couple of months later, the orphanage, gave him an identification card/ wood. His new name is Lee Kwangsoo. Since people's names here in Glory City have asian name. He decided to name himself as his favorite Korean comedian. Since Julien is not a name you can hear. It might arouse people to say he's from the dark guild. They all have weird names like the demon lord.
