You look behind you but before you can catch who it is, he grabs you and hugs you from behind. He rests his head on yours and his soft hair brushes against your cheek.
"I'm sorry..."
The faint sound of music come to your ears. A violin, a lovely piece. Shuu listens to it all the time, "Shuu-kun?"
He ignores your call and rest the side of his head on your shoulder, listening intently. To what was he listening to? Probably the music.
"Did you just apologize?" shock resonated in your features, and he ignored your question causing you to smirk. First chance you'll ever get and probably the last one to tease him about something.
Your smirk broadens, he couldn't see it but he felt the smirk overwhelming your features, "You apologized!"
Shuu's completely deprived of emotion, right? Wrong. Hiding behind you, his cheeks turn the color of roses. His eyes couldn't stay open. The feeling was way too overwhelming for him. He closes them and holds on tighter to your body in fear you may turn and caught him express such embarrassing emotion.
"You really don't need to apologize, Shuu-kun. It was mostly Ayato." You speak not aware of your eyes that observed every curve of his slender fingers.
You hear him sigh, almost as if in relief. You wrap your finger between his index finger and thumb, feeling his palm come in contact with your fingers, a smile comes to your lips. They felt so soft. His heart skipped a beat.
"By the way, what's that piece you're listening too?"
"River flows in you."
A smile comes to your lips as you listened intently to the music that came out of his earphones. Music makes you feel all kinds of emotions. Happy or sad. They always help calm you as you got lost in them. Maybe that's how Shuu feels when he listens to music. Music is life to him, and to you, it's like water.
The piece Shuu's listening to made you feel like you were in another universe. It soothed your heart and soul. Your heart beat slowed down a little to its harmony.
"It has such a lovely melody!" you smile and your head dances to it. Shuu watched you in surprise. He watched your hair flow from side to side as you moved to the music. It escaped his mouth, something he's observed but kept inside his heart,
"The loveliest melody is the beating of your heart."
