Eric flew back to Korea. A little hesitant. And unsure as to why he felt so broken when she left. Something about the way their story ended hurt him. This can't be it, there's more to their story than this. He was confused. And flustered how she managed to steer up so many emotions in his closed heart all at once. By the time he reached there the media had already stormed in. He didn't have any energy to answer their stupid questions.
"Where are the bodyguards? Take all of them away. Let me be in peace in my own house." Eric stated.
He went inside his mansion and called for his professional assistance team. His team was the best in digging up information from any corner of the world, or killing people. They were vicious. Just like their master. Returning to Korea Eric was the cruel king that he is so famous for once again.
"Find that girl!" he ordered. "From any corner of the earth. Find her and bring her to me"
'Now she will know who the real king is. For all the insults. I'll get back at her.' He thought to himself.
He lied on the sofa of his living room in his big mansion. A mansion that could fit 30 more people in it. Glass antiques all over the place. Sparkling with the sunlight. Right in front of the living room, a garden with water fountains, different flowers, mostly red tulips. The reflection of the roof of the living room shining on the tile flooring. A staff of 10 maids,13 bodyguards and other staff maintaining the place and their master. The king of Korea had indeed returned.
He kept pressing his forehead with his fingers. Looking stressed as he was. Not knowing what to do next. Not knowing the purpose of his presence.
He slowly removed the ring from his pocket holding it in the air he wondered all by himself.
What was he wondering. That time when he first met Lia. She accidently bumped into him spilling all the coffee on his expensive clothes, remembering how he had an argument with her right there. A smile brightened up at the corner of his lips and he let out a little what seemed as a laugh, the staff that were around him froze to their positions.
Their master just smiled? No he... Is that a ring? Is he thinking about his fiancé? How good must youth be. We've never seen him day-dreaming like that. The workers around thought.
"Look who's smiling now!" a voice called out. That dimmed Eric's brightened face.
"Brother! What are you doing here?" Eric asked.
"Greet your brother with that smile you had too. That's so sad. I am at your house won't you welcome your guest?" Jun. Eric's brother taunted.
"Tell me what work is it that you have from me?" Eric asked again.
Why did you leave on such a hurry? The tour wasn't over. You had meetings to attend. Don't be so irresponsible and make father regret his decision for trusting you" he said in a serious tone.
Eric just stood there without saying a word.
"I had to cover up for you because you left. Don't make this mistake again. I told dad to let you be" Jun continued.
'MMNN" Eric just let out a voice in approval.
"There's a lot of work at home. Regarding my engagement with Ms.Park. So we need you there. And we need you to be responsible and handle the affairs related to some businesses with the Park Co-operation. So from next week you'll be joining the head office of Jiseok again. Note that and be there. I'll explain you all the work later. Understood?" Jun stated.
"Yes" Eric replied.
He wasn't allowed in the head office of Jiseok company as a punishment for running after to find his sister years after she left. He would go back to work from now on. To that suffocating gigantic building. He's back at work. But is Eric happy with that?
His mind is empty just thinking about that one person. Lia.
She's so weird. He thinks. Going deeper in his thoughts about her. Or maybe it's me who's weird.
How does a girl having such normal citizen records, be this extraordinary.
Eric did think a lot about her. Till night. When his team was still not able to track Lia down. He wondered where she would be that it is taking them so much time to dig her up.
'Where the hell are you? It's okay if you don't wanna see my face. I just want to return you this ring. And ask you who gave it to you. Just that. And I'd leave.' Eric thought to himself.
It was his arrogance that never let him see anything clearly, sparing not even his own heart. He always tried to reason with his feelings. To deny and be stubborn.
But was Eric ever in love? Or was it something different? Something so close to home. But distant.

"HOW DID YOU TURN TO SUCH BITS. AND SCATTERED INTO AIR LIKE THIS, THAT I CAN'T EVEN FIND YOU ANYMORE. IF OUR STORY ENDED THAT NIGHT YOU LEAVED. I WANT TO REDO EVERYTHING WITH YOU. SO I COULD MEET YOU ONE LAST TIME."
Next Chapter- Mr. Eric Jiseok is here, back to work in Jiseok Company, Our CEO is back. Everyone bow and welcome him. Why does my heart still feel so heavy? What is it that I really wanted to do with her?
