Jason's POV

I pace my room back and forth with my arms crossed. I was worried and it was all my fault.
I liked Kani.
I like Kani.
I really do and it's hard to control it with me kissing her all the time. The first time I kissed her was in the school Court yard the second time was when I punched Fryday, which he totally deserved it.
I've already had my first kiss and it was from Veronica Winters. I bet Veronica already told Kani about us, but I regret every little moment I spent with Veronica's. She cheated on me. We were young anyway and we had no idea what love was.
Thinking about it now makes me feel bad. I only dated her so I could get away from paparazzi, but ended up dating her because I didn't want to break her heart. In the end it turned out we broke each other's heart.
I get a text from my phone and quickly grab it to read it. It was from my mom.
Mother: First damage is done. That's strike one.
I widened my eyes as I angrily text her back, but she doesn't reply.
She did something to Kani I know she did.
I text Kani just in case,but she texted me first. She sent me an article titled:
The Queen plans to attack.
Kani_the_Cookie: What does this mean? What's going on?
Kani_the_Cookie: Did your mom find out about us?!
Jason_the_idiot: I'm not sure I don't know what she's done.
Jason_the_idiot: Did, something happen...to you?
Kani_the_Cookie: No. Is something supposed to happen?
Jason_the_idiot: Nope nothing at all. I'll see you at school tomorrow. Don't worry.
Jason_the_idiot: Bye Cookie!!

She doesn't respond to my texts after that. My mother is really determined to break me apart from her.
I'm running out of time by the second.
Kani's POV

I stare at the article reading the page over and over again. Jason never really answered my question and I'm starting to worry.
I then hear a faint knock on my closed door. I crack it open slightly as I pole my head out. It was Fryday.
"Fryday?" I said now fully opening the door. I noticed a small bruise just below his jawline that was definitely caused by Jason.
"Hey, Kani, I um..." He played with his fingers while looking at the floor. Did I mention that Fryday was at least 6ft tall and had slightly wavy dark brown hair that grew past his ears and stopped at his chin? I didn't? Well, to see him fumble with his words and acting all shy is extremely adorable.
I just stared at him fondly as he tried to find the right words to say."Can you tell Jason that I apologized? I can't find the courage to tell him. And keep this between us." He said looking up at me.
I never knew how green his eyes were.
"Uh yeah of course. And I also apologise on behalf of my boyfriend." I said shaking my head at him. He averted his eyes from mind as soon as I said 'boyfriend'.
"Right." He said as he slowly turned his head and soon disappeared from my sight.
Was he okay?
