"Is It working?" A face of a man appeared on the screen, really close, adjusting the camera. He looked around to be in his early twenties, black-brown hair, black eyes, a slightly overgrown beard on his tired face and a bandage on his head.
"Yea, I think it's good to go." Mumbling to himself, he sat at the chair in front of the camera.
"Haa, where should we start from?" Heaving a sigh, he began to rub his hands together. "I guess let's start from how dairies are so boring. Like, I mean, it's so old school thing." He chuckled a little. "So, writing them is a no-no from me" He said as he raised his hands up in an exaggerated manner. "So, I decided to record a video each day, at least until I'm alive and kicking"
"Getting to the serious part, there was a…Oh wait." He nearly jumped from his chair. "I thought something was missing but I forgot to do introductions. An amateur mistake." He grumbled and waved his hand. "Let's start from the start."
The video cut there.

"Hello, my name is David Bryne. A normal genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist." The same man as before, David, spoke. "Is this recording perfectly? Let me check…" He got up from his chair and went out of view, then came back after a few moments.
"Yea, perfect. So, picking up from where we left." He stroked his chin as he spoke. "I decided to record a video each day, since, you know, writing diaries is kind of boring." He leaned his face slightly forward and winked.
Taking a deep sigh, be continued. "There was a sudden quake, the ground shook, followed by some very loud sounds of buildings crashing, maybe. It was like a volcano erupted very close." Rubbing his hands together, he continued. "Next thing I knew I was knocked out from something hitting my head and when I later tried to go outside, the door was struck, most likely buried under the rubble. I have no idea what is happening outside or what is the situation, but I've been stranded here for more than a week. I was waiting for the rescue team but…" He massaged the bridge of his nose as he spoke. "My cup noodles and chocolate stocks are running out and still there is no hope for any team to come. I tried to send SOS, but no matter what I try, its unable to reach." the corner of his eyes getting a little wet. "It can't continue as it is. This video and many others to come will be a proof, proof that David Bryne didn't just give up in front of despair." This time, his face full of determination. "If all hope is lost, I will become that hope myself. Because, this…is not how it ends."
*Yawn*
"With that said, the most important thing is sleep. I'll start from tomorrow." Yawning, he said lightly. "Good Night."
