Charlie logs into Elvow to start up the game choosing dream live from his drop-down of games. When he chooses it he gets taken to a new lobby with an orb in the center, which he walks up to. When his hands are placed on it a series of windows pop up around him each with a mannequin of a different creature that represents the races of dream live. The ones available can range from the classic human and elf to the more obscure like the war forged or Crelt which are somewhat like short humans but they have colorful skin and long hair which can move independently from there body. Charlie chose for his race to go with the minotaur to try and counteract some of the negatives for psychics. See the thing about psychic and why it's considered bad is for a few reasons, for one all of its moves in the beginning use hp and psychics as a class doesn't get a lot if any endurance stat increases as they are a spell class they also they do not get a lot of strength either and that's requisite for there normal attack. In Dream Live minotaur has decent strength and endurance and is one of the classes which can actually have the psychic class for some reason, making it a good choice for Charlie since he's only going to be using psychic until he can do new game again. After messing around with the appearance option a bit and going with the decidedly more human option of minotaur he went to choose his class and after looking longingly at the magician and the crusader classes he chooses psychic. Then he gets thrown to the screen where he gets to allocate his points, the parameters available are strength, endurance, dexterity, agility, stamina, resistance, luck, wisdom, intelligence, defense, mind, charm, energy and recovery. Minotaur's main bonus being a +3 and a +2 to strength and endurance respectively and a -1 to the more magic focused wis, int, and mind with the exception of recovery. After giving it some thought Charlie hit random and then to choosing his name going with Cold Beef1 beginning the game without checking his stats.
