Jeon Jungkook's POV
Feeling the crowd's cheer vibrating throughout the whole stadium; the music playing is fighting against their animated loud chanting. The warm air around isn't even a bother to either of us just the rush of our heartbeats, the ringing in our ears and the after math of our throats being worn out till we've lost it.
The wide psychedelic light screens casting me from all angles off this exuberayting stage was nerve wracking; least to say. The sensational feeling of standing before this electrifying atmosphere wouldn't calm my heart, no matter how many times I imagined this, what I've always wanted.
Wow now my lifetime dream seem to be dreams in my dreams.
And I hate how I can't seem to be anywhere close to making this lifetime dream come true. Regardless of those never ending practices and countless of tutorials I watch on YouTube.
Sullenly, I got out of bed to freshen up and head to the company.
The company that can't afford to get us professional trainers and separate rooms for the male and female trainees. But again I can't complain because that is what I can afford with my monthly allowance and besides it's still a new company I can't ask for much but train hard till I debut one day.

Right as I walked in through the slide doors of the company, I met Heejin heading to the practice room but the expression on her face stopped me from catching up with her. Her figure was moving sluggishly, shoulders drooping and was she crying?
Completely worried and focused on her, i didn't realize I had stopped in the entrance of the building till I felt a hand on my shoulder pulling me forward. It was Taehyung.
"What are you doing here? You're actually late you know." He said.
"Uh yeah, sorry." I said as we headed towards the room.
Taehyung greeted everyone and asked us to warm up before the trainer comes. All that while I couldn't help but notice how Heejin was just so out of it, her body was moving sluggishly and her face did show she was crying; her cheeks were flushed and her eyes were swollen. I really want to know what happened that she's like this.
—-
We were busy learning the steps when suddenly I heard a thud; Heejin has fallen on the floor. She clasped her ankle wearing a painful expression and her ankle was slightly beginning to bruise.
Everyone huddled around her in deep worry for her. I can't help but get agonized by all that she's going through. She wasn't in her good moods to start with.
"Why did you do that?" Heejin groans in pain while looking at Eunjun.
"I guess my foot went out of control." She replied unapologetically shrugging her shoulders.
The whole room just gaped at her cool demeanor and her blatant lie.
"The least you could do is apologize you know!", Jimin reprimanded crudely.
Eunjun, with all the audacity, walked out without a single look at us.
The entire room let out grunts of infuriation and it was just unbelievable of her.
"Heejin, I think you need to drop by the infirmary and take the day off. It looks bad dear." He warmly comforted her.
"As for Eunjun I'll have a word with her. Take a break everyone and someone accompany Heejin to the nurse."
Haewoon offered to take her and call her family to pick her up. Seeing Heejin limping out of the room was excruciating to watch. She's one of the great trainees among us.
—-
Heejin was picked up by her brother after she was treated by the nurse. He seemed to be perturbed by the whole situation and his face said it all; he was mad at the whole incident.
The trainer walked in later on and informed us that Eunjun will be facing disciplinary suspension for her actions and personally apologize to Heejin.
I believe that serves her right. So we resumed practice.
—-
Practice ended longer than usual today; everybody wore solemn expressions on their faces, the atmosphere couldn't get any gloomier.
Completely distressed about Heejin's wellbeing, i decided to contact her. Seeing only Taehyung and Jimin around, I walked up to them and asked for her phone number.
"Look who's extra worried for Heejin!" He teased.
"C'mon man it's not funny, she got hurt and I'm just worried." I calmly replied
"Don't think I haven't seen your eyes lately concentrating on Heejin lately." He nudged on.
"Seriously dude! Forget it then." irritated I walked away.
"Chill man, I was just teasing. Here have the number." He passed me his phone with her contact. I can help but feel irked by how he's saved her as cutie.
"Thanks man." I left right after that.

I got home all tired and emotionally distressed with today's crisis. The sun had already set and the night got chillier as expected.
Though I can't ignore the fact that I'm prolonging the plight of texting Heejin. I mean it's nothing serious to be fretted about. I just need to ask her how she's doing.
After a while of contemplation and sighs, I decided to text her.
Jungkook: Hey! Are feeling any better?
Ok that wasn't hard; but that seemed as though we we're really close friends. I should have been more formal. Wait she doesn't even know it's me!
Frittering on spot, I texted.
Jungkook: It's Jungkook.
If I thought training was tasking, I clearly didn't know what I had coming.
—-
I'm passing time by endlessly changing tv channels with no attempt to actually watch but with hopes to keep my mind off from my phone.
I had come by this channel that was displaying a documentary on wildlife when I heard my phone buzzed with a new notification from my bedroom.
Hastily rushing towards my room and hitting my toe while at it, I got to my bed and reached out for my phone.
Trainer Han: Practice tomorrow is cancelled.
All that I went through for this text. I grunted loudly in annoyance. I can't get how I'm on a bundle of nerves for just a simple text.
With my phone still in my hold, I decided to kill time on whatever I found interesting on my phone.
Lest realizing I had gotten comfortable in my bed, I was slowly falling into a slumber; then darkness keeled over.
—-
Groggily awakening from my sleep to quench my thirst, I thought it wouldn't be harmful to check my phone for any new notifications.
Stunned to actually find a new notification and one from her, I straightened up to properly comprehend this.
She had sent it 12 minutes ago.
Heejin: Hey, yeah actually. The pain has subsided now.
I hadn't realized I had held my breath till I exhaled loudly in relief.
Jungkook: That's a relief. Why are you awake till this hour?
It was 1:26 am.
The moonlight slid in through the gap between the curtains hanged on my window. The half the city was in deep stupor, the noises almost faded.
Heejin: I can't sleep hbu?
Jungkook: Same I guess.
A few minutes went by when I got another text.
Heejin: Do you think I am good enough?
I was caught off guard by her question and I didn't know what to say.
Jungkook: Heejin are you ok? Do you want to talk about it?
Jungkook: I'm gonna call you.
