"Ah!!"
Intense pain elicited a miserable scream from Ichiso Kaguya. However, in less than a second, Ichiso Kaguya's agonizing cries vanished.
As the lightning gradually dissipated, Ichiso Kaguya collapsed to the ground, his breath extinguished.
Asahi, observing Ichiso Kaguya's lifeless form, couldn't help but feel a wave of nausea. However, accustomed to life and death, he swiftly adjusted his emotions.
Efficiently, Asahi approached Ichiso Kaguya's corpse, forming hand seals to seal the body into a scroll.
Clap, clap, clap.
Asahi applauded, slowly walking towards Nagato. Yahiko and Konan followed silently, knowing that the time for farewells had arrived.
"Nagato, well done."
Hearing Asahi's praise, a somewhat embarrassed smile appeared on Nagato's face. However, as he smiled, a tear rolled down the corner of his eye.
Soon, influenced by Nagato's emotions, both Yahiko and Konan couldn't hold back their tears.
Yahiko tried to claim it was the strong wind that brought dust into his eyes, but there was no wind.
Asahi, watching the emotional scene, forced a smile.
Having spent three years together, he couldn't bear to part with the trio.
"Why are you all crying? From today, you're officially graduated."
Ding~
As Asahi's words fell, the system, silent for three years, chimed in again.
[Ding, Konan, Nagato, Yahiko successfully promoted to Jonin level, officially graduated. Host is rewarded with A-rank Ninjutsu Mastery.]
The system's voice didn't affect Asahi's mood. To be honest, Ninjutsu's impact on his strength wasn't substantial.
With his current entry-level Kage-level power, combined with Chakra from Senjutsu, he could easily roam freely in the ninja world before the Fourth Great Ninja War.
The most practical aspect of the Ninjutsu rewarded by the system was in teaching disciples.
Asahi gave a deep look to the trio and spoke to them:
"I've already given you the last lesson. From now on, your life journey depends on how you choose to walk it."
"At the age of thirteen, you're already considered young adults in the ninja world."
"The road ahead is for you to explore on your own."
"The last thing your master can pass on to you is the method for training the final Sage Mode."
Pausing, Asahi took out a small booklet from his pocket, containing his own insights into Sage Mode practices. This was the complete version of Sage Mode. With the current strength of the trio and the balanced characteristics, they could already practice Full Version of Sage Mode.
"This is my compiled insight into training method. It's the most crucial method in our clan's training. After reading it, destroy it."
Asahi handed the booklet to the trio. From its appearance, no one would suspect that the most potent training method in the ninja world was recorded in such an unassuming booklet.
"Master... We understand."
Taking the manual, the trio remained silent. Although it contained the most vital training method of their clan, it couldn't alleviate the melancholy of their impending separation.
"All right, I've taught you the last things. I've already informed you about the methods for Sage Mode practices. When you've mastered Sage Mode, you can attempt to practice the clan Sage Jutsu
"As for Ninjutsu, even without relying on me, I believe you'll find techniques that suit you."
"Consider this my last assignment for you. Don't disappoint me."
"Wow~"
Unable to contain herself, Konan burst into tears.
"Master, you... rest assured, we won't let you down."
Ruffling Konan's head, "Konan, you are the most meticulous. Be careful in the future, and keep an eye on these two. Don't let them get into major trouble and jeopardize themselves. If there's something you can't handle, remember to come find me. I believe you can locate me."
"Wuwuwu~" Konan dove into Asahi's embrace, "Master, rest assured, I will remember your instructions."
Watching Konan crying in his arms, Asahi patted her back helplessly, consoling her.
After Konan regained composure, she reluctantly left Asahi's embrace, her eyes still red.
Asahi then turned his gaze to Nagato. "Nagato, you have the best talent. In the future, make sure to protect them. Although the Rinnegan is powerful, control the intensity when using it. Don't force its usage when your strength is insufficient; it could cause irreversible harm to your body."
"Also! Remember to be cautious, and when you become powerful, you'll notice something unusual."
Asahi didn't reveal everything to Nagato because he was still too weak and knowing wouldn't benefit him.
When he could sense the anomalies himself, he would be able to handle the danger.
Nagato nodded solemnly. Although Asahi's last words confused him a bit, he would keep them in mind.
He believed that in the future, he would understand Asahi's intentions. Finally, Asahi turned his gaze to Yahiko, who was vigorously rubbing his eyes, and teasingly scolded:
"You little rascal, from now on, you can escape my clutches. No need to endure beatings during training."
Upon hearing the familiar teasing, tears once again flowed uncontrollably down Yahiko's eyes.
For three years, he had become too familiar with Asahi's teasing. Even though Asahi treated him well, gave him special attention, he never explicitly let him know.
Yes, Asahi often beat him, but could he not sense the reasons behind it?
His talent was the weakest among the three, and he knew it would be challenging to keep up with Konan and Nagato. Yet, Asahi, fearing his inferiority complex, used the pretext of beating him every day to help align his meridians, enabling him to keep up with their cultivation progress.
He knew all of this, though not explicitly stated. Despite that, he held nothing but respect and love for Asahi, so how could there be even a hint of dissatisfaction?
Tears uncontrollably streamed down, and the Yahiko who boasted he wouldn't shed a tear even in the most difficult times now resembled a child who had lost his candy.
With a firm thud, Yahiko knelt down on the ground.
"Master, thank you!"
Nagato and Konan also knelt down.
Asahi didn't stop them; he could accept this gesture.
After the three finished bowing, Asahi, without looking back, walked towards the distance.
"Leaving now. All good things must come to an end. Don't tarnish the reputation of my Tazuna Clan in the future!"
As Asahi walked farther away, the three disciples remained kneeling on the ground. Nobody noticed a single tear rolling down Asahi's cheek.
