The year is 2000s, a very influential couple is having their first baby. They are very powerful. They put all of their essence into their child to make the baby powerful. But as it turns out, they had a twin. One boy who had very powerful essence and the other one was a girl, she had no essence whatsoever. Her brother being powerful absorbed all of the parents' power while leaving her with nothing. She was named Cara and the boy was given the name of 'Kai' after the name of a very powerful essencentes. Kai was given everything he wanted as a child, on the other hand Cara was given nothing and was always ignored by her parents. She was malnourished and barely had any strength to move. Kai was given special treatment by his family. He had to take special classes at a very young age to control his essence. He was a very quick learner and he quickly surpassed everyone in his class. It made his parents give him more special treatment. All of these things were making him arrogant and also made his ego grow bigger and bigger. While on the other hand, Cara sometimes sneak into her brothers' special classes and trying to use essence power and trying to connect with the essence of a number of things but failed to do so. She still continued to do so with a little hope that she could impress her parents. She never stopped. Kai was gaining a reputation for his essence power.

After a few years

Kai became very powerful in the past 7 years. Now that he is 14 years old, he goes to the national essence high school; made for special essencentes to train them for the future. He quickly became a member of the student council of that high school. On the other hand, Cara was not sent to any school. She was also not given any education. She just spends her days in her room all day and only comes out to eat her meals. But she did not like that so she frequently sneaks out to study; as a matter of fact she taught herself a lot of things. Now, she sneaks out to read books and try to use essence.
