Violet Pov:
"What do you mean you released you mother?"
I sat up on the edge of my bed and began getting dress. Liam became a blabbering mess but when he finally spit out everything I understood what he was saying.
"So she tricked you?" He looked down in his palms and began crying.
"It appears that way I'm beginning to wonder if she ever loved me in the first place." I sat beside him and drew circles on his neck to take some of the pain away.
"Well if you want to know I know someone we could ask?" Liam picked up his head and turned it to the side.
"Come in follow me." I kissed his forehead and headed to the door awaiting for him to follow. Once he got dress we headed outside and down the path towards the training ground. Once we got there I climbed into the bleachers so I could get a better view point.
"Violet what are we doing here?"
I ignored his question until I saw the exact person I needed. Then I turned towards Liam and gave him a kiss before dashing off.
"I'll be right back!"
I ran towards the ground until I made it to the other side where a group of men were laughing. I felt awkward so I kinda just coughed to make my presence known.
"Ahhh little princess what can we do you for." The men greeted me with a smile.
"If it's not too much trouble I was wondering if I could borrow Ky for a moment." Then men looked at eachother before Ky nodded and stepped towards me.
"What can I help you with beautiful." I took his hand and lead him to the bleachers without answering him. As we came closer I could here Liam growl from jealousy. Before he could attack I spoke up.
"Liam baby this is you uncle Ky." Liam relaxed and his face was replaced with shock. Judging by the fact that Ky was smiling I assume he already knew that.
"So what brings you guys all the way out here to visit the estranged uncle."
I looked at Liam waiting for him to speak but it seems he still hadn't found his words.
"We need you to tell us everything about our mothers and what happened."
The smile quickly left Ky's face after my request.
"Look we are being told he said she said stories and something bad has happened so we just need to know the truth so we can fix our problem."
Ky sat down in the bleachers and looked at us " what kind of problem do you guys have."
"Before we tell you we need to know what the real story is and not the cookie cutter version."
Ky nodded "alright but you didn't hear it from me. It happened back when your mothers were your age." That's when Ky told us everything from the abuse to the kidnap to the switch and what really happened when we were born and why our moms died.
By the end I f the story my heart broke. Everything my mother endured especially after we were born. It explained so much. Why she was so thankful for every day. Why she was so bent on mates and beautiful pregnancies. Everything my mom wasn't all sunshine she was the rainbow that shows after the storm. Thinking about this made my heart ache for her. How I wish I could go back and say I love you one more time and understand now where as before I thought she was smothering me with her love all the time I thought it was overbearing. In reality she was making up for lost time In her life.
I looked up to see Liam crying again "rose saved me. The queen has always loved me and I got her killed." I wiped away my tears before caressing his face.
"Baby it wasn't your fault I know that now. I'm sorry I ever blamed you. We will fix everything." I had almost forgotten Ky was there until he coughed and made us look up.
"So about your guys problem?" I looked back at Liam before he sighed, it was his turn to come clean and once he did Ky started to pace and panic.
"I'm sorry you did what, please tell me this is a bad joke you are playing on me."
Liam shook his head.
"We have to fix this. Veronica was a terrible Luna the first time around I can only imagine what she will be like with a vengeance."
"A vengeance against who? The queen is already dead."
Ky nodded "yes I agree but she wasn't the sole contributor to her down fall. She will go after everyone that got in her way. That means Zeke, Colton and Violet, your father, and most importantly you Liam."
"Me but I was just a baby what did I do?"
Ky took Liams hand in his "you were the spark. You brought Asher back out of the darkness, you help give rise the fight to avenge your life, but most importantly you were the biggest thing that stood in the way of Veronica and Cole. Once the world knew of your existence none of her lies mattered. There was no way of coming back from the whole she dug. You are her biggest enemy."
I looked over and could tell that Liam was trying to process what Ky was saying to him.
"So everything she told me was a lie. In fact quite the opposite she tried to kill me?"
Ky just lowered his head and nodded.
"All that matters is that you have love now. You have family that loves you and you have a mate who will be with you forever." I smiled letting Liam know I agree with what Ky was saying.
After a few minute of silence Liam snapped out of his wallowing and stood up.
"Well then what's then plan."
"Roni doesn't know that you guys have become mates or have made up. You must stand united behind closed doors but let it play out. We must know which way she planning to play the field In Order to cut her off. She can't help but be the center of attention and create chaos and that is when we will get her. We need to postpone the wedding for another 2 weeks and attack the night of the blood moon"
Liam and I nodded and agreed to kys plan. We needed to do this quickly. My father is due to marry her very soon And even if we get her to postpone the wedding the blood moon still wasn't far enough away.
Liam and I headed back to the house separately and I didn't my best to cover up my scent so no one knew I was mated. Liam did the same and broke away from me to go find his mother. I had a horrible feeling him being around that woman but I knew I had to trust him.
Her on the other hand... I will have a score to settle with her when the time comes.
