Chapter 7 - Letter Of Challenge

Chapter 7

I knocked on the door, Adam pulled it open, yanking me inside, slammed the door and locked it, then the monster came out.

Adam cast me a cold, angry, withering look, that sent shivers down my spine, "Why didn't you text me you were going to take until 5:30 to get home? I was worried!"

Holding up my hands as if I was being threatened at gunpoint, "Sorry, didn't know you that you would be worried, or that you cared. Also, I forgot. Ha-ha, please don't kill me," starts sweating a little.

Adam glared, "Fine, whatever, dinner is on the table, but you probably already ate."

I looked at Adam, "I'll paint your nails if you stop being mad," Adam glared even harder, "okay, okay, how about if you just don't get any madder? Deal? Ha-ha," sweating.

Adam huffed, "Fine, start painting servent!"

Adam and I sat down on the couch, I asked, "What color?"

Adam peered down at the options, "Galaxy purple, black metallic, and nebula pink."

35 minutes later, Adam was prancing around, with his newly painted nails.

I sighed, well, at least he isn't mad anymore. I yawned, and looked at the clock, only 7:35? Meh, the brain wants what the brain wants, I guess.

"Hey Adam, I'm going to go to sleep now, good night."

Adam replied, "What? Already? But then, who will I have to annoy and who will I have to entertain me? Please stay with me, just a little longer, please? Please? Pretty, pretty, please?"

I sighed, "Fine, fine, sure, what do you want to do?" Crap, I really shouldn't have asked him that.

Turning around slowly, horrified at what I'd just said, oh crap, I'm too late.

Adam what ginning evilly, "He-he-he! Mwahahahaha, I want to do makeovers, then, I want facemasks, then, I want to do hair---Pause---

This should be a good time to tell you guys what Adam looks like.

Adams description: Black short hair (but wears a long wig most of the time), slightly tanned skin, lean (slightly muscled) body, and golden-brown eyes (he looks like me, which is why he is my doppelganger (or maybe I'm his doppelganger)). -----Un-pause----

"Ooohhhww, we could also dress up and...," I stopped listening after that. I just let Adam do whatever he wanted with me.

A couple hours later, I looked at my alarm clock, 12:56. Sigh, how did Adam manage to keep me up until one? Sigh, whatever, sleep time.

A couple more hours later, ring, ring, ugh, I pulled back my blankets and felt something wet and warm between my thighs, what the? I looked down, crap, I got my period. I grabbed my uniform and ran to the bathroom, looking for pads I didn't see any, crap!! I stuffed toilet paper down my pants.

Running out I called out, "Adam! Adam! Do you have any pads?!"

Adam looked up, "Uhh, no? Sorry. We'll go buy you some today after school. Can you use toilet paper for the time being?"

While at school, I was in a foul mood, fricking Adam, keeping me up until almost one, and my fricking period.

I made my way to my locker, something fell out, I picked it up, I opened it: Challenge, Adam Darkwaters: I, Shane Davis, challenge you, Adam Darkwaters, to fight for the spot of CAPTAIN OF THE MARTIAL ARTS CLUB, today at 2:05 P.M. inside the Martial Arts Club. Be prepared.

...Seriously? A letter of challenge? Ugh, Whatever fine, just you wait, Shane Davis, you messed with me on a wrong day, Mister.

All through the school day, I kept on checking if my pad(toilet paper) had leaked and Mark kept on asking why I was so moody and why I had to go to the bathroom so much.

I responded with, "I got a letter of challenge today, is all."

After school, I waited for Shane Davis, he was late, ugh. I hated people who were late.

A guy I didn't recognize opened the door.

That was probably him, "Are you, Shane Davis?"

Shane nodded, smirking, "That's me."

I glared, rolling my eyes in annoyance, "Well, Shane, if you're going to send a letter of challenge at least be on time."

Shane shrugged, giving me a smirk, "Why should I? After all, I'll be your future Captain."

I glared even harder until it turned withering, "You'll have to beat me first, Davis."

He smirked.

I asked, "William, would you explain the rules and count us down?"

William walked over, stated the rules, and counted us down, "1 2 3 fight!"

Shane and I lunged for each other.

And thus started the challenge.
