"I understand." Xiao Minlan said. " I will leave."
Nodding in approval, Xie Luochen folded his arms while waiting…..he waited…..and still...waited. He glared towards the still chewing Chu Nuan.
"Kacha, kacha," resounding across the room.
Becoming silent for a moment, he said. "Hey."
"Kacha." Chu Nuan looks at him curiously.
"Aren't you going to do anything?"
"Do what? Kacha, Kacha."
"What do you think you should be doing, hm? Envoy Chu?" Xie Luochen said with his teeth clenched.
"Ka-" Stopping halfway on her crunching spree, Chu Nuan stares silently at him for a moment before standing up from the sofa. The patter sounds of melon shells litter the living room floor.
Stretching her limbs lazily, Chu Nuan nodded with a casual glance at the mother and son duo.
Receiving a satisfactory answer, Xie Luochen took out his phone, " I will be waiting outside."
Sending him out with her sight, Chu Nuan waited a while before asking, " So, who is it?"
This question of her's surprised the still dazed ghost. "What?"
"Xiao Minlan, I'm not Xie Luochen. A few months old ghost is not powerful enough to possess a man to that degree. Invading his dreams should of been your limit, but you caused his car accident. Unless you had outside help, that would not have been possible. So, who helped you?"
The woman in front of her looks down silently, refusing to answer.
Chu Nuan peered at her coldly, lips raised to a sneer. " Think carefully Xiao Minlan. I'm giving you one chance, there's a limit to my patience." Since it's reserved for one person only, she thought silently.
Hearing her words, Xiao Minlan's eye shook a little, but her mouth remains shut.
Knowing that she needs a little push, Chu Nuan glanced at the silent Xiao Bao. " Affiliating with malicious spirits and causing bodily harm to innocent humans in an attempted murder. Not only will be sentenced to ten thousand years in hell, your son will follow you as you complete your sentence. The fryer will be waiting for him."
The moment these words came out, Xiao Minlan jumped up hysterically. "No! This has nothing to do with him!"
"Oh?" Chu Nuan smirked as she casually brushed off nonexistent dust from her shoulders . "Then tell me who does have something to do with this. I can't lower your sentence, but I can make sure your son can be safe from it."
Transparent skin turns even more translucent as Xiao Minlan powerlessly sat down again. " A dog. A black dog came to me," she said with a trembling voice. " It said that as long as I help it look for a certain place, it will help me with my revenge."
Interest flashes inside Chu Nuan's gaze, "what place is 'it' looking for?"
She contemplates for a second, " a place called Black Moon Sect? The dog said it's a daoist temple of some sort. The only place anything similar to what was described is the temple about an hour from here. That's all I know Your Honor, about my son…."
Ignoring her question, Chu Nuan started," okay then, I'll send you two away now. On your body, check to see if you have something similar to a business card on you."
Searching their bodies for a moment, Xiao Minlan came up empty while Xiao Bao found a card in his pants pocket.
" Now, read the number on the card. Remember to add the pound key at the end. Otherwise, they won't bother to come."
Although confused, Xiao Bao still obediently repeated the numbers on the card.
In a matter of seconds, black fog mysteriously appeared in the living room. It gathered until slowly forming a black gate.
"Clank, clank," the sound of chains knocking against each other echoes from behind the silently opening door.
From behind the gate, a figure wearing black robes appears. A black piece of cloth covers the bottom half of his face, revealing cold emotionless eyes. One hand holds a pair of gleaming chains while the other holds a glowing red lantern. The figure placed himself in front of Chu Nuan. " Your Honor." The envoy said with a deep bow.
Chu Nuan nodded to him while pointing at the mother and son duo. "I leave them to you," she ordered before leaving the room.
The black figure bowed again, maintaining the same motion until her back completely disappeared from sight.

Exiting from the room, Chu Nuan took a breath of fresh air as she went downstairs. Pondering over Xiao Minlan's words.
She arrived next to a lamp post nearest to the building gates. Standing there, she dazedly stares at the glowing lamp post. Staring at the moths knocking against the glass windows.
"Are you done?" A voice asked, startling Chu Nuan out of her reverie.
Turning around, she sees Xie Luochen walking in her direction.
A tall graceful figure, thin reddish lips, refined eyebrows. His pair of exceptional cherry blossom eyes lowers lazily as he walks forward.
Standing in front of Chu Nuan, Xie Luochen looks at the dazed woman in front of him. " What's wrong? Did something happen?"
Chu Nuan continues to stare as she reaches out her hand. " Nothing, I was just thinking about how attractive you are." For some reason, maybe it's because of the orange glow from the lamp. Or maybe because the facial expression of the man in front of her has eased, but a layer of warmth has been added to him.
Feeling her hand resting on his cheek, for some reason, Xie Luochen didn't feel the need to dodge. Looking at the woman in front of him, his heart starts to beat irregularly. He observes her pale lips and skin, round almond eyes and cute dainty nose. His eyes travel from her eyes back down to her lips. Pale and icy without a trace of blood. But it gives people the urge to lick it. Perhaps, it will help cure the summer heat.
Catching his wandering thoughts with a jolt, Xie Louchen took a step back from Chu Nuan. Without looking back at her, he said, "follow me."
Curious, Chu Nuan followed behind as she asked, " where to?"
" You don't have a place to stay yet, right? I'll take you back to the sect. We have plenty of empty rooms there."
