|NaHee's POV|
"Oh my god—JiSu! How did you even manage this?" I shake my head as JiSu stands innocently in the corner of the room.
"I mean—it wasn't necessarily me. There are two other suspects. Granted—they aren't here." JiSu lowers her head and kicks at the ground.
"What's the big deal? It's an easy clean up. If we all work together it'll only take a few minutes. Come on." SunMi is the first to speak up. She begins picking up pillows and placing them back in their original spots.
"What about the rug? It's ruined. There's no way in hell you'll be able to get that stain out." I kneel down to pick up the cup that caused the accident. I set it on the coffee table and glance up at her.
"My dad has been looking for a million reasons to throw that thing out. He'll be glad it's gone. Besides, it gives us an opportunity to pick out our own rug." SunMi smiles brightly as she kneels down to slowly tug it out from underneath some of the furniture.
"I didn't mean it—really." JiSu sighs as she hurries to help SunMi with the rug.
"No one said you did. Don't worry about it, JiSu. If my parents ask, I'll tell them it was me. It's no big deal." SunMi reassures JiSu as the other girls and I hurry to pick up the wrappers and cups scattered around the kitchen and living room.
"What time is it?" I mumble as I throw the last cup away and spin around to grab my phone.
"It's two ten in the morning. Why?" Aera asks as she plops down on the couch and stares up at me.
"Bed. All of you. Get to bed. Especially you, Missy." I hurry toward JiSu and grab her arm.
"Why me?" JiSu looks at me confused.
"Because—who's the one with a date tomorrow? Who's the one going out with a world star? Hm?" I face her as I question her plans.
"Okay, understood." JiSu nods her head as she allows me to drag her toward her room.
"Did you pick out an outfit?" I ask as I tug their door open and follow her inside.
"Yeah—well Tzuyu and Yeri did." JiSu motions toward a pile of folded clothes sitting on the desk.
"You're going to wear SunMi's leather pants? Are you sure? I don't see you liking them. They can't be comfortable." I scrunch my nose up as I run my fingers along the fabric.
I don't even like the feeling of leather pants. I have some, but I don't really wear them. They're just a pain in the butt to move in. JiSu is all about skirts and dresses—the only pants she wears are leggings. I think she has a total of two pairs of jeans and she rarely wears them.
"I want to make a good impression. They seemed to think that's the outfit to do it in. Even JongHo said guys like leather pants." JiSu shrugs as she sits down on the edge of her bed.
"You don't have to appease any boys if it makes you uncomfortable. You'll find a guy that loves you for you. Did you see me dressing up for ChanYeol? He's lucky if I wear something more than a pair of sweatpants when he's around." I sit down beside her and rest my head on her shoulder.
"I know I don't have to go over the top, but I feel like I have to with him. He's got the chance to have pretty much any girl in the world. This isn't even an actual date. He just wants to get to know me to see if we'd work for a duet. It's just a friendly hang out thing. There's nothing more to it. I figure if I wear that stupid outfit, maybe he'll like me and ask me on an actual date." JiSu sighs as she lays back on her bed. She places her hands over her face and kicks her legs.
"If he's anything like I imagine, he'll be concerned to see you come in wearing that. He's probably kept a little bit of an eye on you if he thinks you're a potential duet partner. He more than likely knows your style. Why try to lie to his face when even he knows it's not the real you? You aren't doing anyone a favor by trying to be someone you're not." I mumble as I stand up and grab her arm. I force her up onto her feet.
"I'm wearing the pants tomorrow. Who knows—maybe I'll end up liking them." JiSu tries to dismiss me as she stares at the ground.
"How about we make a deal? I imagine you're taking your backpack, right? You don't go anywhere without it. Why not slip a JiSu outfit in it? It'll give you a pair of backup clothes in case something happens." I attempt to convince her to open up to the idea of showing him the real her.
"I guess it can't hurt." JiSu gives in and heads toward the closet. She pulls her bag out and sets it on the end of JuHee's bed before opening the closet.
"Whatcha doing?" JuHee asks as she slips into the room. She sits down on her bed and pulls JiSu's backpack into her lap.
"I convinced JiSu to take a second outfit that's a bit more her for tomorrow. It's not uncommon for you guys to need a wardrobe change." I sit down beside JuHee as JiSu begins pulling clothes out of the closet and setting them on the end of the bed.
"I think you should pull out your mermaid outfit." JuHee smiles brightly as she eyes the garment bag tucked away behind the rest of JiSu's clothes.
"Isn't that a little much for a hang out?" JiSu shakes her head as she tosses her slipper at JuHee.
"It's really pretty though! It shows off your figure, too. Guys like girls with good figures." JuHee insists as she throws JiSu's slipper back toward her.
