As I open my eyes I look at an unfamiliar ceiling. If you're wondering how I know my ceiling brown not white. I sit and see a white furball lay at the end of this unfamiliar bed.
"Ahh", the memory's where coming like meteors. Just one after another and breaking apart into more. This guy was oddly normal. Whenever someone gets reborn in all those novels it's always someone terrible. This guy on the other hand was like everyone else. Went to school, has normal talent, and owns a pet store. Well by that I more like Astral Pet Store. Not a normal pet store.
That white furball was his trusted partner Roy who was a Mountain Snow Husky (Rank Five). This guy's name was Alex, had a sister named Sarah, Mom named Alexis, and a Dad named Sam. His sister was more talented than him even though she was younger by two years she was already in Unversity, a famous Unversity at that. The Unversity of Talent.
I was currently at Alex's or my parent's house. I look at the clock next to me and see that it says 6:29 AM. My sisters already left by now and my Mom won't be awake until 7 and Dads away camping.
Woof is all I here before being tackled by Roy. I grab and pet him on the head as he started licking me.
"You want to get some food Roy, you hungry", I say to him as I stare into his eyes. His deep blue eyes. "Woof" is all I hear from Roy but I can tell he said yes. I climb down from the bed and walk to my closet to get some clothes. I pick a red hoodie as it's November 23, 2068. A whole 4 months 3 days and 48 years since I died.
"Sigh" I grab a white shirt and some gray sweats with a red zipper on the right pocket. Grab the towel hanging off my laundry thing and head for the bathroom a few doors down. Roy follows right behind and stops right in front of the bathroom door. 30 minutes later I come back out and throw my pajamas into my laundry thing.
It's already 7 so my Mom just woke up. I can hear her moving about. I head downstairs with Roy and pour some food into his bowl. I grab two eggs from the fridge and make myself an omelet and some coffee. In 5 minutes I and Roy are done and out the door.
That was weird it all feels like an illusion but then again that was my old morning routine just had to add the extra step of feeding Roy. I already knew where the store was so I call up a taxi with my phone which is a bracelet. The taxi land right in front of me and the falcon doors open to reveal a black and white interior with blue lights.
I swipe my bracelet, which is called an Echo Band, on the side of the door and tell it the destination. A seat comes out of where the AC would for Roy to sit on. Once I and Roy are seated the taxi takes off into the sky and beyond. 7 minutes, that's how long it took to get there. As the taxi land right in front of the store I and Roy step out.
I take a good look at the store. Its two floors tall has a sign that says Infinity Pet Store in big bold red letters that have lights on them, has a huge window on both sides of the door. All in all, it's nice. I walk towards it and the doors automatically open. There are six cages on the first floor. Three on one side three on the other with a foot in between the cages. Cashier in the middle with a door behind it leading upstairs and to the storage room.
Cage One (left side): Glass cage with a huge python (Jungle Grass Python) inside. It's 12 feet long and 3 feet in width. Rank Four. The cage is 10 feet tall with 10 feet in length and 10 feet in width. Rainforest themed. The door on the back.
Cage Two (left side): Glass cage with a wooden monkey (Fire Wood-Monkey). 3 feet tall, 1-foot length, and 5 inches in width. The cage is 10 feet tall with 5 feet in length and 5 feet in width. Rank Three. Jungle themed. The door on the back.
Cage Three (left side): Glass cage with an orange toad with black spots (Acid Spit Toad). 6 feet tall, 3 feet width, and 5 feet width. Rank Three. The cage is 10 feet tall with 7 feet in length and 7 feet in width. Swamp themed. The door on the back.
Cage Four (right side): Birdcage with a white dove (White Feathered Dove). 1 foot tall, 3-inch length, and 5-inch width. Rank Two. The cage is hanging from the ceiling 4 feet and 7 inches from the ground, 3 feet tall, 2 in length, and 2 feet in width. Door in the front. Gold Colored.
The other two empty. With the cages being one more glass that the same size as the monkey and a birdcage the same as the doves. The store is 40 feet in length, 12 feet high ceiling, 50 feet wide. That makes it 750 square feet. Plus the second floor 2,800 square feet. It was $5000 per square feet making the whole building $1,000,000. Well, someone in the family is stacked cause I do not have this money. I only got $258,456 in the bank and the store only makes like $38,000 per month. With the expenses of the animal it $28,000 and then with the bills it's $25,200 per month. I only $10,000 out of it and what's left is for advertisement and reinvesting.
That means I earn $120,000 per year that's 9 years before I get that much money. So where in the world did $1,000,000 come from cause I know I'm not paying mortgages right now?
