A. Participants had to be at Qi Circulation Realm.
The Qi Circulation Realm is the realm after the Meridian Opening Realm. Lin Fan cultivation was now at the Peak of Qi Circulation Realm which is pretty Badass considering he had no 'heavy' support. He had support and advantage but it was only little, it is having a longer time on choosing Martial Techniques and Cultivation method, which does not make any difference.
Others who had a support of a whole clan or family. Feeding them with rich resources and strong Martial Techniques.
The Sword Arts of Lin Fan were only at Human Rank and next level of it will be Earth Rank, which is pretty rare and only strong Inner Court Disciples had the privilege to get one.
But, the opponent of Lin Fan in this Tournament, maybe had learned Earth Rank Techniques which is op.
But not all of that decided by the rank of Techniques, it will be decided by the execution and handling of the said Technique.
Lin Fan Profound Sword Arts are now at Peak level and his execution of it is flawless. Beating some Early Earth Martial Techniques effortlessly.
The second rules would be...
B. Participants had to be under 19 years old.
Lin Fan is 16 years old, that's the current age of his body. Meaning that he meet the requirements.
C. Participants had to have 2,000 contribution points obtained to join the Tournament.
Lin Fan killed all the bandits, giving him 5,000 contribution points, plus the Defensive Artifact that he sold, giving him a total of 12,000 contribution points.
-7,000 contribution points for buying the Qi Circulation Cultivation Method and the rest used for buying delicious food.

Reminder:
— To eliminate your opponents, you need to make him surrender the fight, make him or her unable to fight, or directly kick him or her out of the arena. Making him out of boundaries, which is an auto eliminated.
Lin Fan read the requirements and knew that eliminating his opponent would be easy.

Outside the Arena...
Participating Disciples were now waiting to get their names called out.
An Outer Court Elders was calling out the name one by one.
There are Four Outer Court Elders overseeing the Tournament. All them look old and strong at the same time.
The participating Disciples were split into 5 groups, namely Block A, Block B, Block C, Block D, and lastly Block E.
There were about a total of 1,000 Outer Court Disciples participating the Tournament. So mathematically, each group had a total of 200 disciples which is pretty damn many.
Lin Fan was assigned on the group name Block A.
"Lin Fan!"
The Elder that overseeing the Block A, called out Lin Fan's name. His shout heard all over the Block A area.
Lin Fan heard the Elder and quickly went towards him. At the front of the Elder, a box were there, glowing slightly. This Box is not an ordinary box, it is an Item artifact. The box where the one that giving the Disciples their number, randomly.
Putting his hands towards the box, Lin Fan hands quickly and went it, grabbing a circle like object and pulling it out. The circle like object engraved a number in it.
Lin Fan pulled it out and saw his number.

Lin Fan's number was 124.
Lin Fan left quickly as soon he got his number. But before that, the Elder reminded him to put it, the round object that contained his number on his chest.
Then after that, the Elder resume calling out names.
"Le Xian"
Lin Fan look back, hearing a familiar name. Then, he saw a dashing Disciple walking towards the Elder with overflowing confidence on his face.
'Ohh, that should be Le Xian'.
Lin Fan look at him and coincidentally Le Xian look at Lin Fan direction, their eyes clashed. Le Xian snorted and ignore Lin Fan completely and broke the stares and continue walking towards the Elder.
'That should be the guy, that keep sending me a practice partner' Lin Fan thought of that and walked towards the waiting area.
The waiting area is where all the Disciples that had been called out and had numbers put in their chest. Lin Fan sit down on a rock, closing his eyes and continue meditating.
Waiting for the Tournament to start.

The Elder in charge of Block A gathered the participants, a scroll was glued on the wall, the scroll were filled with numbers, randomly put together.
The scroll has a different number and next to i
the number is another random number, meaning that it will be your opponent.
The Elder explain what it means, and the number you partnered at will be your opponent.
Lin Fan quickly look up towards the scroll and search for his number, quickly finding it.

Beside his number there's a random number and as the Elder explain it, it should be his opponent number.
Lin Fan quickly look around on surrounding Disciples, searching for his opponent number, 69.
Lin Fan confirm his target and saw that it is a girl, a girl on his first match would be Lin Fan's opponent.
The girl was apparently searching for its opponent to, and look at Lin Fan's direction.
Lin Fan look up and down towards the girl assessing his opponent. He glanced on his opponent face and what he saw left him damfunded.
What Lin Fan saw is not a face that filled with battle intent, but what he saw is a face full of surprise and adoration. The emotion intensified when they lock eyes together.
Lin Fan quickly break out on his trance of surprise and evaded the sight of the girl, slipping away through the crowd.
The Elder look around and nodded and left.
Not everyone was happy like Lin Fan's opponent is. Some were surprised and sad, because of their opponents being their friends, girlfriend, boyfriend, etc. And some were burning in anticipation to beat his or her opponents due to their opponents being their enemy or hated Disciple.
Some celebrate due to their opponent being weak vice versa, some were crestfallen due to their opponent being that they can't beat, stronger than them.
Even though everyone had different emotions running through them. They all had one thing in common, and that is the intent to win and be an Inner Court Disciples.
The Elimination process is not by 1v1 and winning, it is basing on points.
Any win match is equal to one point, and they would have to battle 10 times. They need to strategize their plan and need to consumed less of their Qi and stamina.
But to Lin Fan who were so overwhelmingly powerful, he does need any strategy.
