was Laura's birthday . Many pure blood death eater families were invited . Her mother had looked forward to this day more than Laura , herself . Yes, it's just what you are thinking she's taking The Mark willingly . These two months with her mother have helped Laura turn to the dark side . She has not stopped replying to Jillian's owls though but they were not like she was really happy to write the letters but more like she should to it to be polite . Jillian had this feeling something was not right . But what could she do ? She couldn't turn up in a Manor full of death eaters.
Laura's POV
I woke up it was my birthday and also I was getting the Dark Mark . But something inside her kept telling her it was not the right thing to do . But what an honor is it to get the Dark Mark not all are that fortunate . Besides she would make her parents so happy and proud . Still there was a feeling but she chose to run the blind eye . She got fresh then there was a knock on the door . She opened it , it was her mother . She walked in with two Black Ball gowns in her hand . 'Mother ... Can I tell you something ?' she asked her mother . 'Yes , what is it ?' her mother replied . 'To be honest I don't wear gowns .' she said quite awkwardly . Her mother's eyes widened and she let a cackle of a laugh . "Says she doesn't wear gowns" you don't quite have a choice ,do you ?' .
So Laura wore a gown for the first time in her life .

She knew that people have already started coming she changed quickly .Then her mother came to her room . 'Ohh just look at you it's just your hair sweety it's too short , but anyways let's go downstairs .' her mother exclaimed . She walked with her mother downstairs all the eyes across the room started to find their way at Laura . Laura was feeling really irritating . She hasn't contacted with her Aunnie or Nymphadora for two whole months and she was quite sure they were not invited to this party .
"She looks really pretty "
"People say that she lived with Bellatrix Lestrange's younger sister of a blood traitor before she started leaving with the Malfoys' "
"Oh did you know she was dating the Malfoys' son before she didn't know that he was her brother "
"I reckon she has a girlfriend "
"Her hair's so short !"
Whispers could be heard across the room . Laura was feeling really angry by hearing these . She just wanted to leave . Then the ceremony started and , yes Laura could be officially known as an death eater . Before Laura was branded the Mark they sat down on a the dinner table the Dark Lord joined in and had a few words with Laura .
"So you promise to prove your loyalty to me ?"
"Yes my Lord "
"And you promise to work on my orders from now on my orders from now onwards ?"
"Yes my Lord"
"I expect a lot from you then , Lestrange and I hope you would exceed my expectations "
