Laura was in her dorm when Slughorn had asked the prefects to wake the students up and that they all have to assemble in the Great Hall right now . Laura was not asleep she slipped her robe's on and left for the Great Hall along with her house mates once she entered the Hall she saw Jillian looking sleepy and standing over at the Hufflepuff side of the Hall . Professor Snape the new principal was standing along with the other professors . Every one of them accept Snape and the Carrow siblings had a tiny ray of hope clung upon their face . And the Gryffindors looked really happy for some unknown reason . And then Snape started an announcement 'Harry Potter has been spotted ' they're were gasps and Jillian almost hopped . 'And if anyone of you try to aid Mr Potter then they have to face the consequences.' the Gryffindor's eyes glinted . Laura knew the war was knocking on the door of the wizarding world . She was terrified , her insides were churning .
And then started the war people of both sides trying to crush the other . Laura knew she was torn between the two sides the members of the Order of Phoenix was there so was the whole of the old Gryffindor quidditch team and several of the passed students . Laura noticed Wood . He didn't notice her at the beginning , she hadn't seen him in 3 years and they hadn't even written to each other for like two whole years . It wasn't like she didn't miss him she missed him but living at the Manor it was hard and besides he was totally busy after all he was playing for a big quidditch team . Then he saw her he looked both shocked and happy at the same time he gaped at her he too hasn't seen her for three years Laura always was a bit taller for a girl of her age but she had grown three inches taller than when he's last seen her and she looked for like a lady than a girl now and she looked really pretty , prettier than before if that's possible . And her short hair was now two inches than to reach her shoulder . The only thing that were just like he'd seen her the last time were those sparkling green eyes . And her face beamed when she saw him 'Wood ?'
Oliver's POV
The war had begun and then out of nowhere I see Laura she's grown a lot taller and her face more lady like and her hair quite a bit taller than the last time I'd seen her and blimey she looked really beautifully her beautiful eyes beaming at me happily . She came over and hugged me I hugged her back and I really didn't feel like letting her go . Then someone started clapping we broke the hug and saw oh the mad old Holzmann . She grabbed Laura's wrist and pulled her towards her and said 'Thats my girl Woody and besides we're sorta middle of a war .' 'Yeah right I replied '

The war broke out wood went to fight and Laura and Jillian were running trying to shield fron the curses and jinxes and hexes . Then suddenly a familiar voice said 'Ah Lolly Dolly there you are I've been looking for you darling . Who's that ?' said Bellatrix lestrange . 'T-thats J-J-Jillia-n H-Holzmann, m-mother .' she strutted she's tried to avoid this all along . Trying not to introduce Jillian to her mother , well let's face it Jillian's a muggle born and her mother is all about pure blood . 'Oh Holzmann is it ?' cooed her mother . 'Yes both my parents are muggles you gotta problem with that lady ?' Jillian spat before Laura could stop her . 'Ah Lolly Dolly you never mentioned her to me . Were you scared that I might do this-' she said menacingly before raising her wand and ' Crucio !' 'No stop yelled ' Laura in terror 'Please mom stop ' she was horrified and among all the other noises in the great Hall was mixed her mother's cackle . Then suddenly Jillian stopped struggling and lay silent . And her mother left that instant laughing . Laura felt like she hit her head real hard she sat beside Jillian she could hardly moving any limb then she started shaking Jillian like asking her to wake up 'Jillian wake up , wake up there's no time to waste we'll have to run .' When suddenly two strong hands got her back on her feet gently 'W-wood l-l-look s- she's not t-talking '
He brushed her cheek 'S-she's gone l-lass ' Now that hit the realization she looked at him straight in the eye unable to speak they stood there for a long time before a spell was shought in their way Wood blocked it and shielded Laura 'We have to get you out of here lass '
After the war was over Jillian's parents had come . Jillian's mom hugged Laura and started crying . Laura didn't lose tear she tbh did nothing except for standing like a stone or moving like a ragdoll when Oliver made her walk . Everything was over . Oliver started 'Lass both you're parents have passed away and so that leaves their Manor to you along with all their belongings . And so do you live in the Manor or you can leave with Mrs.Tonks who for sure needs you now because I'm sorry Laura but you gotta face this Ted Tonks , Nymphadora Tonks and Remus lupin are dead that leaves their son . Or you can come with me though I'll be travelling a lot so-' Laura cut him off 'I'm-sure-Aunnie wouldn't-want-to-see-my-face again after-what-my-mom-did-but-I'll-keep-trying-Ill-leave-in-my-parents-Manor . And you don't have to worry so much about me Wood you can go on with your life I'll be good on my own .' she hugged him
