The claws of the vampire clashed continually with Rein's bare arm and was consequently deflected every single time, he instead smiled wider and went faster and kept striking Rein's arm which Rein was using to block. At first it was unintentional because he forgot that vampires have really hard fingers but to his surprise for the first time the scale that was always mobile around his body, all came to that point he used to block and settled there, he was taken by surprised by the fact that the vampire was deflected with no damage for him, so he kept blocking as much as he can while playing on the defensive as he studied the vampire.
