Hyun-sung can feel his ears pop, and the portal make a pound humming sound as the portal sends everything flying into the air except for the four test subjects. He sees Sang-woo and his workers sprawled on the floor, and the AI announces, "Portal activating."
I can hear Sung-joon crying and Min-song in complete shock, and Hyun-wook tried breaking the field.
The portal started creating a black surface, which started to suck us in. I tried my best to keep my balance, but tripped on a wire and started tumbling towards the black hole. I use my knife to stop the pull, but the pull grew gradually stronger. Knife being useless, I lose hope as me and the others get sucked into the huge void.
I wake up, finding me and the team in a small hut. I look out a window, and notice that we were in a forest.
"Where are we, Mister Park?" Asks Min-song.
"Seems that we're in a forest." Hyun-sung said. "This hut is in the middle of it."
"But how did we get..." sputtered Sung-joon, as the door of the hut opens as a man walks in, and stares at us in surprise. He pointed his saber; and what he said was a completely different language than Korean.
"We are sorry but we speak Korean." Hyun-sung said, as he lifted up my hands. "We are friendly."
The man seemed angered at the team, and started screaming in foreign language. Hyun-sung then noticed that our weapons were missing. Then, suddenly, the man charges at him, and he had barely any time to react. Hyun-sung grabbed him by the neck and kneed him in the chest, and flipped him over as he kicked the saber away from him. Hyun-sung, pushed the man away from himself just enough to knock him out with a tornado kick.
Feeling satisfied with his combat performance, Hyun-sung turned around to see his team in awe, and Sung-joon jaw opened. He then smiled, and decided to check the knocked guy's body. He see that he had a few bullets with him, but no technology or anything. He also looked around the room and found the weapons and the tech in a closet with strange looking close too.
The team then head out to the forest without a word; then finally Sung-joon said, "I found our current location, and we are at the same spot as where the facility is." Hyun-sung started at him, making him look a little dumbfounded, as he showed the team. It was true. We were at the same location as the portal facility.
Suddenly we here a rattling noise as if someone or something was dragging a cart. Hyun-sung turned around to see a man on a carriage with a horse dragging the cart. Seeing that the man was dressed old fashioned, The team walked awkwardly to him, and Hyun-sung said,
"Um, sorry to interrupt you, but are you Korean?" Hyun-sung had doubts that this man was Korean, however surprisingly, he was.
"Yes I am Korean. Why do you ask?" He stated.
"N-n-nothing!" Hyun-sung stuttered, and he shifted to my point, and asked, "Where are we and what year is this?"
The man stared at him as if I had memory loss, and said, "You are in Korea, and this is the year 1800."
