HOSPITAL
Damsel was moved into a new ward with her baby in her cot, next to her. Stephen stood at the door, impatiently as he stares at them through the glass.
" Can I go and see them now",Stephen asked a nurse at
" Um....,yes you can but she is sleeping at the moment. Becareful not to wake her up. She needs to rest....Okay"
" Alright, I sure will. Thank you so much"
" Welcome, I'll leave now..."
" Alright "
The nurse bowed and dashed off hurriedly. Stephen sighed and pushed the door opened about to step in when Dora called.
" Hey, Steve, you've finally seen her ward...?"
" Um, yeah, the nurse said I can go in now"
" Okay, that is a good news", she answered, glancing through the glass door of Damsel's ward.
" Let's go in...."
" Um, I wish to but I need to rush off now. There's an emergency at work which I need to attend to. I promise to visit later, okay..."
" Alright, thanks so much for everything. I really appreciate what you did for Damsel and I . If not for you, I wouldn't know what would have happened.... "
" Oh, Steve, it's nothing. After all, she's my friend and friends help each other. Now go in and see her. I'll take my leave first...okay "
Stephen nodded,cheerfully in response.
" Good, bye for now and send my wishes to her when she wakes up", she exclaimed, rushing out of the hospital.
" I sure will "
He stared at her back and smiled as he trod into the ward.
THE WALTER'S MANSION
Daniel hurriedly rushed down the stairs all dressed as he dashed off to the door, cheerfully.
Just when he was about to exit the door, he heard his phone ringing.
"Oush....who could it be again?", he muttered, drewing out the phone from his pocket.
" Oh, Dora", he added, picking up.
"Hello, Daniel, where are you?", Dora called from the other end of the phone.
" Um, moving out of the house at the moment", he answered, starting the car.
" Oh, okay. Just want to let you know that I've already left the hospital and Leyla is waiting for you. You need to hurry there now, she'll be discharged any moment from now..."
" Alright, on my way....Thanks dear, bye.."
He hanged up, speeding off immediately.
HOSPITAL
Stephen stood beside Damsel's bed, taking her hand in his.
" Look how beautiful you are looking in your sleep, Damsel.( Caresses her hair gently) Thank you so much honey, for making me a father after a long while( chuckles).
We are finally called parents dear( smiles). Look how cute our little girl is looking in her cot."
" Hey, Mr Steve ,you are here....", Laura called from the entrance, approaching them.
" Um, yes, doctor. Got here not long ago."
" Okay. Can I check her now?"
" Yes, sure, doctor.... go ahead", he answered, moving to the corner of the bed.
Laura checked Damsel's pulse and her drip. She turned to her file and recorded something in it.
" How is she now, doctor? "
" No cause for alarm, Steve. She is doing perfectly well. We just need to monitor her for some few days before she is finally discharged."
" okay, doctor, I'll later go home and get some things for them."
" Alright.., I'll leave now. If you need anything, just let me know ,huh..."
" Okay..."
" I'll be in the office then. Have a nice day..."
Laura excused herself as Stephen turned back to Damsel and smiled.
" Wake up soon dear, I can't wait any longer to share this joy with you ", he uttered, kissing her gently on her forehead.

Leyla laid on her bed, glancing at the baby cot beside her when the door slowly pushed opened drawing her attention.
" hey, Leyla, you are awake. How at you?...", Daniel exclaimed, cheerfully gliding towards her.
" Yeah, I'm fine. Was waiting for you...."
" I'm here now...", he kissed her at the cheek and trod to the baby's cot.
" Hey...look at this cute angel over here. How are you baby", he added, holding the baby's hand playfully.
"What name will you like to give her"
" Um...Tatiana...It really suits her or?"
" Yeah, Tatiana is okay. I love the name ", Leyla cried with a smile.
Daniel carried the baby in his arms as he shuffle in the room, cheerfully with her.
Leyla stared at them, beaming with smiles.
" Thanks for coming into our lives, Tatiana. You are the best thing that ever happened to me. I love you, dear", she muttered.
"Hey, I can see you guys are ready to leave", Laura called from the door.
" Yeah.....almost, doctor", Daniel answered.
" Alright... I just to see how you are fairing before you leave"
" Aw, thanks, Laura. I really appreciate your care and love.... ", Leyla replied
" Don't mention dear. I'll take my leave now. I wish you all the best"
" Thanks", they chorused.
Laura glided out, elated.
Minutes later, Leyla and Daniel, left the hospital happily with their baby( Tatiana).
