GISELLA'S WARD
Sasha, the nurse Natasha had plotted out Gisel's death with, quietly crept into her ward to execute the deeds. Her eyes nervously lurked around as she neared her bed.
" Oh, God, please forgive me for what i'm about to do." She cried and she took her stand beside Gisel's bed. "I know it's bad but I have to do this."
She took out the syringe and pressed it to her right hand, about to inject her. Just then, Gisel's hand moved. She flinched, gazing up at Gisel's face only to notice her weakly twitter her eyes open.
" Oh, goodness– she's awake" She mumbled to herself. " I've got to be fast about this before someone else walks in." Sasha lamented in her thoughts.
" Desmond?" Gisel wearily voice intruded. Sasha fidgeted with a sheepish grin.
" Relax dear, he'll be here in no time. Let me finish checking you, first." She instinctively took her hand for the injection but was suddenly interrupted by the swang of the door which made her tremble, dropping the syringe in the process.
Desmond trod in, wearing a pale, stressed gaze. "Good morning nurse." He muttered as he sauntered over to the bed.
" Good morning, sir." She swiftly replied, her face flashed with fear as she struggled to keep her composure. Desmond's gaze instinctively fell on Gisel.
" Oh, my God, Gisella " He exclaimed, totally overwelmed as he took her hand in his, settling in the chair. " Can' t believe this– you are finally woke up."
" Desmond? " She mumbled, a faint smile dazzled on her face as tears rolled down her eyes.
" Yes–yes, Gisel. It's me, Desmond. I'm here."He cheerfully eluded, almost in tears. She gave a faint smile as she weakly caressed his face.
"Oh, Desmond " She cried as she tried to sit up but was immediately stopped by Desmond.
" No, no, don't get up. Lay back on the bed." He exclaimed as he helped her lay back in bed. " You just woke up so you should not work out yourself – You're still weak" He lamented.
Sasha saw this as an opportunity to escape as Desmond's attention was still on Gisel. She simpered.
" Um, excuse me–I've got to attend to other patients now. I'll see you guys later" She eluded. Desmond instinctively nodded without looking up at her. His eyes still fixed on Gisel.
Sasha hurried out. She leaned on the door and sighed, a sense of relieve rushed through her.
"That was so close" She mumbled. She instinctively glanced back through the glass of the door before gliding off.
*************
Gisella stared blankly at Desmond without words.
"Why are you staring at me like that?" He queried, wondering why she was so grossed in him. "Have I got something on my face?" He added, instinctively brushing his hand over his face which made Gisel giggled and he laughed.
"What is it now? " He queried. She gazed at him for a brief moment and spoke up.
" I'm just glad you're safe, Desmond."
He chuckled, " Why are you saying that?" he asked. "I should rather be the one saying that– I was so scared that was was gonna lose you"
Gisel smiled," Don't stress any longer. I'll be fine "
Desmond sighed, his lips curved in a faint smile. He gently took her hand and Gisel stared up at his face." Thank you for coming back, Gisella "
He eluded and Gisel nodded with a smile.
ANTONIO'S MANSION
Natasha gracefully sauntered down the stairs. With eagle eyes, she kept searching around. Gina approached from the washroom with her cleaning items. She suddenly screamed, dropping the mop in the process as she swiftly turned back.
" Stop right there ,Gina!", Natasha's voice echoed which made her flich, pausing in her steps.
"What's wrong with you? – why did you scream and turn back after seeing me?" she queried as she sauntered over to her end. " Do I look like a ghost?"
Gina stammered as her voice trembled in fright. " Um, No–Ma'am" She swiftly answered. "Nothing, i actually just remembered I forgot to turn the gas cooker off"..
Natasha scoffed, "Oh, I see " She chortled with raised eye brow as she wore a sceptical gaze at her. "But you seem to head towards the wrong direction– That's the path to the kitchen, Gina" She mumbled pointing at the direction of the kitchen.
Gina instinctively jolted, turning towards the kitchen. "Sorry, Ma'am" She eluded with a sheepish grin as she ignored her gaze.
"Stop acting up, Gina" She called behind her. "I know you were the person who spied at me while in Antonio's room "
Gina instinctively froze in her steps, stunned. Natasha chuckled as she paced over to where she stood.
" What?–Ma'am, I don't know what you're talking about" She eluded in a single breath. Natasha scoffed.
" Don't worry, Love" She brushed her hand through Gina's her which made her tremble. " You'll soon find out when I'm done." She gave a mischievous smile as she drew closer.
Gina's eyes flew wide open. She instinctively paced backwards as Natasha approached. Her anger, evident enough on her face. Gina's heart thumped, her eyes exposed her fear.
" Sorry, ma'am!!" She cried. "Please don't hurt me, please– I didn't mean to" She pleaded. Her screams echoed through the hall.

Lizzy who busy at the backyard of the house, heard her cry and immediately sped to where she was only to find her with her eyes closed and her back leaning on the wall as she howled for help. She instinctively raced to her side and held her shoulders.
"What is it, Gina?" She worriedly shouted. "why are you screaming?– Open your eyes!" She exclaimed but Gina just kept screaming. She felt helpless, not knowing what to do to calm her. Just then, an idea clicked in. Without hesitation, she slapped her.
"Hold yourself, Gina!!" She echoed.
Gina instinctively paused for a moment as she slowly opened her eyes only to find Lizzy in front of her. "Oh, Lizzy" She cried and fell in her bosom as she shook with tears. Lizzy hugged her back with quiet a confused and worried gaze.
"It's okay, I'm here" She eluded as she gently patted her back.
After a brief moment, Gina parted from the hug.
"Hey, are you okay, now "Lizzy queried and Gina nodded, blank.
Lizzy sighed. "Hey, you know you can confine in me if anything" She stated. "Is there anything to share?" She queried at Gina who just kept her eyes lurking around the hall for God know what.
She simpered, "Oh, nothing, Lizzy –I'll be in the kitchen for now. You can return to your work"
With a sceptical gaze, She queried. "Are you sure, Gina?" Gina nodded.
" Yeah, i'm perfectly fine, Lizzy. Just go back to your work and stop worrying about me...", she replied and strolled into the kitchen.
" Alright– if– you say so." Lizzy responded and trod away to her room, looking confused."Why is she acting so wired today? She wondered "Hope all is well with her." She kept thinking but had no answers.
Natasha stood at the top of the stairs as she gazed down at them. A broad satisfactorily smile dazzled on her lips.
" Silly girl. Let's see how long you can go on like this. " She stated. " I'll make sure I get rid of you before you even think of exposing me, Gina. " She chuckled. "You – are– my next target. "
She laughed and left to her room.
