Chapter 108 - Dawn of The Final Day

On the Dawn of the Final Day, there laid the Incarnations, twisted, corrupt, horrendous creatures fulled by nothing but the will of hatred and obliteration. Then and there, a simple clawed hand extending out had decayed their bodies and structures, ensuring they all fell to ash, Satan watched from above with a sinister smirk appearing over the front of their face. Rahab by their side crouched down with her fist against her cheek, hood over her head as she watched the chaos ensue, she and the Embodiment staying afloat on a singular piece of rock.

The scattering peasants all fell to pieces of themselves before disintegrating as a whole entirely, women, children, and men collapsing onto the ground with their arms extended. Lucifer stood right in the center of the city, turning up to the Devil King sticking up his thumb to which Satan nodded their head up and down in affirmation of the Demon Prince. Laughing aloud happily, he threw his trident right down beside him, Takyr leaking out from the bottom of his soles to envelop the rest of his body, he stuck up two fingers and enchanted the name of that demonic structure,

"Enter from the night and be blessed by the day, for the day has come and the time is ripe," Lucifer's chant had immediately formed a red pentagram specific to Hell right in the skies, burning bright and glistening in the day.

Cracks forming in the seeds of the ground, the Prince watched with a huge smirk painted over his lips. Tearing the Trident out from the ground and watching as the Tower of Chains started to emerge from the depths of the Earth, piercing the skies and scraping against the clouds. Tracing his red fingers against the structure, he felt the crackle of Takyr brush against the tips of those extremities, smiling at the memories of those Ancient Great Old Ones walking around these lands, before their truce with Heaven. All it took was the simple recognizable touch of the Takyr-ridden Hellish Prince to begin to terraform this part of the Earth, and as the end of the Trident stabbed right into the side of the structure, it unleashed a disintegrating wave of hellfire from within.

Satan grabbed at their cloak, bringing out their hand and pointing their index finger pointing the claw at the end of their extremity toward the ground below. Creating a crater right below the rising column so the spire could begin to fall into a manifested sinkhole, the Devil's six eyes glowing as red as the blood from those victims laid in their homes destroyed by the incoming ripple of hellfire,

"Be born anew by the will of the Demon's Left Hand," As Satan invoked the name, they watched while the Tower once sunk into the Earth below, for the tip of that structure to remain poking out.

Lucifer's ripped cape moving through the wind as he stood levitating over the destroyed Empire, he closed his fist digging his claws into his palms giggling happily. Feeling every single bit of those souls transform into something so horrible, sharper fangs and edged claws digging into his palms, the combined effort of the Demons collective power had completely and utterly obliterated the remnants of the Spacial Kingdom. The only things that remained were the rubble and charred skeletons of those murdered.

Back on the floating rock above the obliterated kingdom, there stood Satan, their cloak moving with the heated winds of the summer noon. Meanwhile, with her fist resting against the side of her face, Rahab opened her right eye with a smile curving up to the edge of her cheeks,

"I'll be leaving now to gather the armies, Devil King. Destroy the rest of the humans, leave them for hostages, it doesn't matter, either way, I can't expend the rest of my energy before tomorrow. I bid you adieu, mein King," Rahab stood up from the ground, bringing her hood down to reveal the color of her hair and eyes as she turned her body, exiting through a manifested portal appearing to her front.

What was left was the battlefield right there, a huge crater remaining where the Spacial Empire previously stood, every remainder of humanity that formerly resided there extinguished instantly. The Devil gazed down at the chaos below, wind rippling through their ripped cloak, Lucifer laughing before ensuring the Trident would vanish between all his fingers. Arising a spiked throne to sit on, he laid back and rested his fist against his red-skinned skull, Morningstar awaited stood there, for the Dawn of the Final Day would gradually end in a few hours.

So as the embers of the flames on burnt buildings started to fizzle out at a slower pace as time went on, the Demon Prince watched over, playing with the remnants of their decimated souls. Sliding the circular spirits around his clawed fingers as if toying with a coin, Lucifer thought back to the memories of his past when he stole the body of the Hunter, or rather, his doppelgänger's body,

"Vampiric blood mixed with demonic, huh? What an intriguing combo. Heh, I've thought about this so much it's driven me crazy. Ah, well, hopefully, it's as fun as He promised,"

So as the day went on, and the night began to settle in, back when the decimation of that area was occurring, there sat the two relatives, the Guardian Father and Emperor Son, at the top of the Limitless Stairway. Each of them with their posture, the younger of the two groaning as he felt some of his bones crack from the way he sat down, while Uraku couldn't help but chuckle, it was such a sight, to see his son so old when he'd been watching him ever since he was born.

Still, without the snowy edges, just from the wrinkles on his face, he seemed so elderly, even with the decelerated aging. But if the effects of that power were truly fading so quickly, then that meant that the time was coming, for the end of the Age of the Revolutionized Requiem Warriors. Uraku had been around to witness not only the previous generation but those afterward, as well. Extending out his hand so he could hand to his son a covered honeybun, Ben looked downward at it for a second, taking off the plastic wrapper so he could shove it right in his mouth.

Uraku's tranquil chewing contrasts with his child's spastic chomping, they shared this moment, just father and son side by side staring at the sight of the endless grass field ahead of them. Flashes of the past for when he was a young and foolish man came flying back right into his head, before he decided to fall, aligning himself beside his son and their mission against the Allfather. Back, when they took a stroll inside of his son's memories, he was so blinded by his Father's ideals being pushed onto him, agreeing with Him based on humanity and its fall. How simple-minded.

And now, he was ready to fight against that Father and His twisted minions, readying to lie down his life all the way to ensure that justice would rightfully and righteously be served for all those lives lost, all those pawns used for the sake of this mission. Uraku turned to his son, still chewing on the remnants of the snack he'd given him, to which Ben quickly realized the way his dad was staring, upturning a brow as if to curiously inquire his father what was needed from him. Before long, all Uraku could let out was a gentle chuckle, directing his gaze to the steps, and then standing tall, standing proud,

"Just as you said, this started with me, son. Though you were chosen to end it fully, I'll be right beside you, and kill my Father without hesitation… by your side, when you die, my son," And just as Uraku had spat out that words to the younger man sitting on the steps leading up the mountain where the Temple laid, halfway across the stars, above Acheron on Earth- there He sat.

Each of His extremities touching together, alone, in the silence of this dark chamber, Almighty laid slumbering in the blackness. Just as He opened His eyes that radiated with a yellow coloration, to which the future had been sensed, and fate had been ordained. Everything from now to the edge of time was being written by a hand similar to His own, as the Absolute was not a person, but a title. And as He pushed Himself up, He began to venture out of His chambers, for the Advent was tomorrow.

The mechanical doors split apart to show the railing below, for they all stood, millions of soldiers bearing arms with rifles near the front and spears at the back. Their wings were are hidden but their halos glowing as bright as the rays of the Earth's sun. The Author turned His head once more after gazing at the sight of his Angelic armies, to see all of His Children, kneeling once again. Plucked out through time and placed right here at the edge, from left to right, Sirilla, Charmeine, Nyarlathotep, Akuji, and none other than the Demiurge Itself. All of them reincarnated for a final purpose, and not for the Advent, no, of course not, but for the recapturing and brainwashing for their big brother himself.

There he laid at the center of everything, Uraku, the infamous Temple Guardian of Space. All Almighty could say as He turned His head right around was a simple,

"Now, let us begin…"

Ben clicked his tie right into place at the top of his suit, August pushing his sunglasses over his eyes so the arms would snap right onto his ears, and Alex zipping up his hoodie then pulling over the hood so his features could be hidden by the shadow of the cowl.

Jason felt the Ketsueki's grip click against the sheathing as it slid right in, Madi extending out her hand so the purple aura from her soul would reach right over the tips of her fingers then digging into her chest, letting the Requiem flow.

The calibration of his arm had been finished, letting out a beep before the hologram vanished, and Ryder smiled, standing upright so he could be beside his children. Azazel's gauntlets peeling right over his hands, Rose pushed some of her gauntlets over her arms, to control her sonic abilities. Her leather man jackets a tint of black and red, but with a rose on the right part, Azazel couldn't help but smile at his baby sister, ruffling her red hair.

Each of them had to be the one to lead their squads. Ben, Alex, and August were Team One. Jason, Madi, and Hana were the second squad, Team Two. Ryder, Azazel, and Rose were Team Three. Kristina, Uraku, and the Three Blades at the Temple were Team Four, however, their objective was dissimilar to the rest, because they would be the ones to take back the Temple that had been demonically overwritten.

Back at the Requiem Empire, everyone had their squads with Matt being the supervisor for each of them. Emma, Gen, and Mei were Team One. Mary, Beau, and Johnson, Matt's son, were assigned to be Team Two. Whitney with Ed and Sunni for Team Three. Hazel, Bella, and Matt would be Team Four and be meeting up with Uraku at the Temple to help seize control. Louis, Claire, Miah, Leah would go to the battlefield with the rest of the squads to fight in the Advent.

Cecilia and Charlie along with Veronica would be staying at the Requiem Empire to protect Blaire at the Castle. Emma and Genesis said goodbye to their mother, the same with Mary for her own, and Johnson for his. So, without any further ado, on the collective signal of the Emperor, the operation commenced, as they set their feet right on the battlefield's grounds, the crater large, they stared right out at the horizon before them,

"I'll face myself…"

To Be Concluded in the Final Arc of The Answer - Advent of Destruction, Total Obliteration will arrive on July 22nd, 2021.
