"Miah wake up!" Noah yells from the bottom bunk. I sat up too fast and hit my head on the ceiling. I climb out of bed, which is difficult because I haven't climbed down a bunk bed since summer camp when I was nine, but I eventually made it. "It's time for breakfast, and I figured you didn't wanna skip that." He says while I rub my eyes. I nod and tell him I'm gonna change. I'm still in my clothes from yesterday. I grab a pair of shorts and a T-shirt from my bag and shuffle off to change. I find an empty stall in the bathroom and change quickly. I pull on my tennis shoes and go to meet Noah. He leads me to the cafeteria. I sit down and he brings over two bowls of cereal. I haven't said much all morning so I figure it's my turn to talk. "It's so weird waking up in a different place. Just yesterday I had a somewhat normal life. Was your first day here like mine?" I ask Noah, who is sitting across from me. "I guess my first day was like that... it was definitely strange being away from home. I've only been here for a couple of weeks but it feels like a lifetime." He says as he stares into the distance. He looks up at me and says, "Do you have any plans for today? I'd love to show you what I do for a 'living' if you could call it that." Now, this catches me off guard. "Wow stop flirting with me- but no, I don't have any plans," I reply.
