Me and Noah are walking down the street, towards the nearest GoodWill. Before now, I haven't really been to this part of town. As we walk, Noah occasionally points out something interesting or a landmark or just something he finds. He's pretty observant. He told me that the last time he went, he saw a lovely yellow skirt that he knew I would love. Not gonna lie, I do think I would love that skirt. Not lying once again, I think this kid's winning me over. He's easily my first ever best friend. Even if I've only known him for a short while, we know each other pretty well. The fact that he knows what I like and pays attention to even the slightest detail. I love how he smiles at me every now and then, the way he checks on me, the way he accepts me. I get lost on this train of thought and before we know it, we're here. I'm reluctant to go in at first, but Noah laughs and says "Come on!" and pulls me inside. We immediately head to the women's section, which draws some strange looks from customers, but I don't care. Noah exclaims "Aha!" and holds up the yellow skirt he told me about. He was right, it was perfect for me. It's cool that it's still here. I hold it up to my pants and he says "It looks beautiful on you!" and I add it to the basket. "It's so strange being able to buy clothes that are actually for me..." I say to Noah as we browse the shelves. We pass our time shopping by pointing out shirts or shoes or accessories to each other, making a joke every now and then. This is one of the best moments of my life. Being with Noah feels like there's always light. He makes me feel human. I really do think I'm in love. Strange.
